We chose the hotel closest to the train station and the city center. We were passing through on January 6, the hotel is not bad, the room is old. With terrible-looking bedspreads, it looks like a hospital. We wanted to stay for a couple of days, but changed our minds. In the evening, we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant, but it turned out that the kitchen was open until 21:30, despite the fact that the restaurant was open until 23:00, food could not be brought to the room. We managed to place an order. The food, by the way, was very tasty. But they added dessert to the receipt, which was not taken out. There are no waiters in the hall, in order to ask for something, I had to go to the next room for them. After reading the reviews about the shops and the fact that everything is empty after 10:00 and there is not even bread, I decided to check with the waitress if this is true. She assured me that they weren't, and it was just people who weren't happy with everything. We came for breakfast at 8:40, eggs, as the waiter told us: "there are no more and there won't be any more", there is also no black tea. Strange for a restaurant… After that, the "nedotels" passed Smolensk, where the rooms turned out to be cheaper and with very cool breakfasts, bathrobes, a sauna and a swimming pool, they were satisfied.

My wife and grandson and I were at the Bug Hotel from Saturday, June 22 to Saturday, June 29. We are satisfied with almost everything, and the location of the hotel, near the train station and in the very center of the city. There is a large recreation park with attractions nearby, the whole park is surrounded by tall trees and it is very comfortable in the heat, there are various cafes and points selling soft drinks and ice cream. And most importantly, the park is very clean. There is a large open-air railway museum next to the park. And if you cross the Warsaw highway, you will find yourself right in front of the Brest fortress. At the Bug hotel, we fixed one big minus - it is a very weak signal level of the free Internet, it works well only in the reception area. Otherwise, we were satisfied with everything.

The hotel as a whole is very good! The location is excellent, close to everything a tourist needs:railway station,shops, cafes, walking distance to local attractions, at hand.
We checked in instantly, the room is very nice and clean, comfortable beds, good clean bed linen. There is a kitchenette in the room, if you wish, you can prepare breakfast yourself) the hotel also provides breakfast for an additional fee.the fee.
Of the cons, the hotel is located by the road, it's a little noisy at night. There were 4 guests in the room, only 2 bathrobes), forget about the slippers, they are not there at all and even for a fee at the reception they are not there either. There are no mini personal hygiene kits either, you need to bring everything with you. It is not thought out at all in the bathroom, in the shower the water jet is directed at the joint of the doors, which do not close tightly, as a result, the floor is not just wet, there is a large puddle, it is not pleasant to walk completely on a wet, cold, slippery floor.
For the money that a hotel room costs, you could have a higher service, to put it mildly. Well, or at least that breakfast is included in the price to balance the sensations of price-quality)

Breakfast is a buffet, the price is 20 Belarusian rubles. We went to a coffee shop 300-400 meters from the hotel, coffee and a couple of rolls for about 5-7 rubles. But it's not convenient for the young lady. And she opens the doors at 08:10. At the same time, food begins to appear only at 08:30. Any comment, including on the quality of food, is perceived with resentment. The answer follows: if you don't like it, go somewhere else. And the food is really terrible. I will say more, it is not quite edible for Belarus. I accidentally saw the condition of the kitchen. The question arises - where is the hotel management looking? And where is the SES looking? At the same time, according to reviews, this problem has existed for a very long time. Why do hotel owners shoot themselves in the foot?

We were in April. It was cold in the room (slightly warm batteries and a strong blow from the window)
. There is a refrigerator in the room, a shower cabin in the bathroom, disposable sachets with soap and shampoo.
They asked for a kettle at the reception. The Wi-Fi is not working well. He only caught it in the hallway, but he didn't even see the net in my room.
We spent 2 nights . The very next day, towels were changed, sachets and toilet paper were added. thank you!
A very decent buffet breakfast in the restaurant (paid separately). Everything is delicious.

There is no cooler on the floors. The chairs in the rooms are collapsible and lie in the closet, which in my opinion is extremely strange. The interior and renovation of the hotel, apparently, has not changed since the time of Vysotsky... The room where I lived was located on the second floor, so they were doing repairs during the day, so it was impossible to work normally, and in the evening music started playing in the restaurant so that the bed shook, they called the reception and told me that I would not worry, the music was until 11.00.

A place that got stuck in the 80s. But for some reason it positions itself as a 4-star hotel. There are no air conditioners in the rooms, no kettles and no water either. If you want to drink, then go down to the restaurant, there's a cooler and cups, but there's nothing in the room to pour water into. The hotel seems to be parasitizing famous guests, especially Vysotsky. I did not understand the meaning of his museum, since it is impossible to get into it, it is always closed. Vysotsky's room is a museum of the 70s. It is impossible to live in it - there is no air conditioning, there are no carpets, you are not offered slippers, and the room has cold floors. The refrigerator works in such a way that it can be heard in a dream, there is no kettle, drinking water, even as a compliment, is not offered. The bed creaks and wobbles, the handle falls off the shower, gels and shampoos are not given out in jars, like all 4-star hotels, but in disposable bags, as a result, apparently we did not have enough gels and we had shampoos everywhere, well, you will not wait for disposable brushes - it is impossible to live in all this, considering that the payment for the room is not small. 270 Belarusian rubles for this half-broken something and a piece of furniture in the form of painted wallpaper from the owners of the hotel. Yes, you will make a museum in this room and take people there for a nominal fee. Do not disgrace a person's name with such financial frauds. There is no restaurant, there are no waiters, they are not interested in you at all. The menu is expensive, about like in a Lantern, but at least everyone is interested there so that you feel comfortable. The only people who try in this place are the administrators, everything else is dusting in the eyes for a lot of money.

I don't understand the rave reviews about this hotel. Very old, tired furniture, everything is falling apart. The floors haven't changed for probably 50 years. An old, old laminate that creaks terribly. Plumbing is also 50 years old. The doors in the room are just creepy. The gap between the entrance door and the slope is several centimeters, which means there is no sound insulation at all. It is simply impossible to fall asleep, you can hear all the conversations in the hallway, the slamming of doors. Absolutely nothing is invested in this hotel. Its only advantage is that it is close to pedestrian streets and the Brest Fortress. The Bug restaurant brightened up our impression of this hotel a little. But we decided that the restaurant probably has a different owner, because the restaurant is beautiful, with good furniture and dishes. The food is delicious. Beautiful serving of dishes.

The breakfasts are not bad. The room is clean, except for smudges on the wall near the window. The upper shower adjustment knob falls off in the shower.
