From 2011 to 2019, we stayed at this hotel 9 times (we always get to Berlin from Moscow, sleep off, spend 2-3 days in this beautiful city and then travel further to different parts of Europe). A small, quiet hotel with affordable prices. Very convenient location - a quiet street 10-15 minutes walk from all the attractions of the center of Berlin. The metro is 2-3 minutes away (direct to Tegel Airport). Street parking is paid (12 euros/day, weekends are free, a place can always be found), but a green umwelt zone "4" sticker is required for the car (it must be at least Euro-4 class) (you can get it for 5 euros at any ADAC or Dekra branch). The rooms are without pretensions, but neat and clean. Large comfortable beds (nothing special, but of all the hotels there is the best sleep). Good inexpensive breakfasts in a nice dining room. TV, refrigerator. Wi-Fi is free and works fine in the rooms. In the hallway you can take a kettle, tea, dishes. The main advantage of the hotel is the mega-hospitable Slavs hosts. When we first arrived in Berlin, they even went to the subway with us and showed us how and which tickets to buy. We highly recommend it for beginners in Berlin - they will tell you everything, advise you, before you travel you can call and book a room, warn you about being late for arrival, get the necessary booking confirmation for a visa. After eviction, they are allowed to leave their suitcases at the reception until the evening. We always book a room for free by mail or phone - the commission of aggregators such as booking.com .
