The Hurrem Sultan Hammam in Istanbul is a famous place that must be visited. It was built for the beloved wife of Sultan Suleiman and now it is one of the most visited places. Inside, the building impresses with its size and beauty. There you will be washed in soapy water, steamed on warm marble slabs, then given an aromatic massage and finally treated to a delicious, fragrant Turkish tea with baklava. A very nice place after a long walk around the city!

I definitely recommend you to visit, the Premium service category, the hammam is really 16th century, everything is restored inside. Steam room in white marble, massage rooms and changing rooms made of wood. In the steam rooms and locker rooms, everything is practically sterile, which is an indicator for such establishments ... Separate entrance for men and women. The program for 1.5 hours, steaming, washing and massage is about 200 Euros per person, if you are in a group, you can easily get a discount of 10-15%. Towels, flip-flops, disposable linen, everything is given out. There are safes for money/phones inside, shooting inside is prohibited. At the exit, they give you a gift of branded soap and a massage glove.

We were alone with my sister on March 8th. To be honest, the price is very high because of the location. It's a kind of advertisement. We have something to compare it with, since this is not the first time we have been to a Turkish hammam. And we wouldn't come here a second time for that kind of money. 100$ for each one. At the same time, they have a clear program. You won't be able to stay in the hammam. They'll wash you up and send you to tea.
Nicely. Expensive. It's definitely not worth your money.
As a gift, they give a washcloth, which is used to wash and body lotion.

We have been to Istanbul twice and visited this hammam both times. Yes, it's not cheap, but it's worth it. Excellent hammam, cosmetics and service are also excellent. You must make an appointment in advance.

The hammam outside has historical value. The interior is beautiful, but restored, i.e. it is already new. It's not cheap, so we just went in and out. The procedures were not accepted.

It all depends on the master who gets caught(
The concept itself, the location, the package of services are simply amazing. I go to Istanbul every time.
But the last time was just terrible. I took the most expensive spa package. I got a bad master. I did everything hastily, sometimes it even hurts, the muscles do not feel sweat massage at all.
It was a big disappointment.

I visited this hammam in May. It was amazing! Helpful and courteous staff, excellent massage and scrub with a special "kese" glove. The amazing smells of soap foam and shampoo. You can forget about everything for an hour. At the end of the session, delicious sherbet and tea with lukum) I really felt like a sultana) The starting cost of services is 80 euros per hour. But it's worth the money.

We were with my husband, we really liked it! For men, the entrance is separate from the washroom, for women - separate. The minimum package is 55 euros per person. They will wash, massage a little, peel off with a glove, give you tea and treat you to sherbet. Everything is clean and tidy. The staff is excellent. Girls are also given olive soap)) everything is disposable, everything is given, you can take nothing with you.

Beautiful, friendly, good massage. BUT: keep in mind- this is not a hamam in "our" understanding. Let me explain. I came in the evening to find out what and how. As a result, you can't just go to the hammam, only in combination with a massage. Minimum 60€. Okay, no problem. I signed up for the morning. I came, I was invited for a massage. The massage is excellent, there are no questions. Then they took me to wash (as I understood already in fact, because the masseur's English is limited to the phrase "hiar mai friend"). We enter the most beautiful hammam, marble, gold. The temperature feels no more than 25 degrees. There are no people. It's already surprising. Washed, everything is fine. Then there is a desire to warm up in the hammam itself, I ask where is the warm hammam here, with steam? It turns OUT that this IS A HISTORICAL HAMMAM AND STEAM IS PROHIBITED IN IT. You can sit on a warm bench and pour warm water on it. It would be nice to warn about this. Peace to all and have a good trip.
