Great hotel. I liked everything very much. A huge territory, the cleanest beach, the most beautiful ocean and very friendly staff. There are a lot of different entertainments, cuisine in the local style and color, where you can immediately eat and feed different birds. There is a delicious coffee on the bar. There are many different Rum cocktails. There are cigars in the local store. In general, I can't describe everything, I recommend taking with you many, many small Alyonka chocolates and pleasant female kittens in the form of hair bands, tights, and so on, to give it to the local staff. They are madly in love with it, as well as one-dollar or one-euro bills.

We spent a gorgeous 16 days on this wonderful island, in a gorgeous hotel, where everything is great, starting with the staff and ending with the management. 😊 And the Guide Svetlana 😍🥰😘 Is a man with the largest letter 😊The staff is friendly, smiling, always (anyone who comes along) in broken Russian, but will help!, ALWAYS the guide! in public, they ask: is everything okay?, how can I help?, suggest something, show...they check the food in the restaurant and eat together with the vacationers! They're having an evening on the beach: an evening cocktail at sunset! In 3 days, we almost learned Spanish and English.😁 Food - eh, +3kg for departure Three restaurants: Japanese, Italian and romantic (I recommend going to each one!) varied, delicious food. (meat: beef, mutton, chicken, pig). Potatoes, sushi, sausages, cheeses, seafood, greens, salads...rice, spaghetti, cones...vegetables, fruits. Drinks - rum, tequila, beer (this is a separate conversation, it's divine!!!), vodka, juices: tomato, cola, sprite, fanta, various cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, different brewed coffee, smoothies, ice cream....Yes, yes, all this is on site at the all inclusive + rate! The room is any whim, just let me know (everything is solved quickly and efficiently)! The territory is a classroom, if you want to swim, if you want a bar, if you want a snack bar, kindergarten, tennis court, shooting, disco (yes, yes, even during the day! from the bass player). The pool is cleaned and treated every evening and night. The beach is clean, sun beds, music, bar, by the way (you can get a towel according to the receipts on the territory of the basik and change it every day!!!) for the loss of $ 15 (do not leave it unattended, and in general we have not had such incidents). There is also a smoking room for smokers!No, you can smoke almost anywhere there, in the lobby, at the hotel, on the hotel grounds, on the beach....I'm talking about cigars, so, cigar lovers, it's fun there. Excursions for every taste and course 😄 I highly recommend a Safari tour, Havana for 2 days and definitely to the Caribbean (also 2 days!), be sure to take corals with you. Wi-fi is available on site, up to the pools. (good, fast). We also had exercise, palm tree planting and much more!I RECOMMEND this hotel!!!

The hotel is generally normal, but the food certainly leaves much to be desired. The selection is small and not very tasty, but there are a lot of fresh seasonal fruits. The most important advantage is the ocean and the people who work at the hotel. Everyone is very friendly. Beautiful Turquoise Ocean View I liked the Apartment, The Beautiful Area near the hotel, The Beautiful Beach all on 5 . Apart from food, the ventilation did not work, the food seemed to have been refrozen several times and there was little choice. Great hotel!! The food is great.. Yes, there are no potatoes and beef, but this is not a priori in Cuba. There are a lot of fish on the tables, chicken, vegetables, sweet potatoes. Baking! The hotel is practically at the end of the spit and because of this there are winds on the ocean!!! I removed the star for the hotel's arrogance in not changing my underwear once in 11 days, even though I always left a dollar or two. Towels were changed, there is nothing to say..... The hotel's territory is the largest in the entire spit. There are many pools to the left of the main entrance, a VIP area and a separate bar with access to the ocean and pool - all for free. I will definitely recommend it and I will come back myself. There are very few Russians and you must have a translator with you if you do not know the language. The most displeasing thing for me was that the dirty laundry already had a smell on the 9th day. 👃

There may be no bread or tea. It is impossible to drink water in the rooms, they give it in glass bottles, which are also apparently not washed) the rooms are old, the furniture is tubby, the linen is changed once a week, and mosquitoes are generally immortal, our fumigator does not frighten them. The service is extremely slow, so give me a dollar, don't give me about one result, but everyone gives it) The beach at this particular hotel is narrow and rather dirty (the algae has not been cleaned once in two weeks), there are not enough sun beds, and someone's rags have been lying on them since 7 a.m. If the weather is not good, the same thing happens by the pool. It is better not to buy excursions from a guide, everything is really two, two and a half times more expensive, on the beach they will offer the same or better, but much cheaper. In general, it is better to choose not so much another hotel as another country for a holiday, in principle, there is a scoop and poverty in everything.

I saw a rating of 4.6 points for this hotel on Yandex.I bought a ticket to this hotel - I was fooled, especially considering that I paid almost 1 million rubles (for 5, for 9 nights). For that kind of money, 5* was expected to get more. We are not picky, we have been to almost all of Asia and Europe - we have seen a lot. If you're too lazy to read the entire review, then look at the photo in the review (unfortunately, I didn't think to take a picture of everything I'm writing about, but it's enough to understand what you're being offered for that kind of money). This is usually the condition of hotels with reviews of 3-3.5 points, but this hotel has 4.5 - for what? I do not know who gives 5 stars for this hotel. You rate the HOTEL!!!, not Cuba or vacation. But for some reason, many people write that "nature is great, so I give 5 stars." In short, Google a more recent 5* hotel on Varadero, which was built there recently. This one is too big. And now the evaluation of the hotel itself: Let me remind you that this is a 5-star hotel. Accordingly, we did not bring slippers, bathrobes, shampoo, shower gel, towels, and so on. And it turns out that they don't give it in the hotel!?! That is: - there are no bathrobes at all, even if you ask; - they haven't heard about sneakers at all, that such a thing happens; - the towels were originally one piece at a time, going to the reception did not change anything - I waited a day, but the $ 2 cleaner solved the problem quickly in 5 minutes - they brought both for the face and for the legs, and the second for the body / head; - shower gel and shampoo are in the bathroom, but it flows out in a non-uniform semi-dense pulp (apparently it was filled in a long time ago and it has already exfoliated). The toilet paper, thank God, was of more or less tolerable quality and several pieces; The condition of the rooms and the hotel: - doors with an electronic lock open 3-4 times (I changed the keys several times, it didn't help); - the safe was with the lock out, on the very first day I asked to fix it - no one came in 10 days (we had two rooms, I kept everything in the second room); - the doors in the bathroom are so old that the paneling is already nailed down!!! - the remote control is stuck "as they could"; - the lamp above the bed was falling off; - the doors, like everything else in the room, have been updated with paint, and they don't know exactly what masking tape is.; - the hot water pressure is zero (at first my wife thought that there was no hot water at all); - the saddle on the toilet is something I've never seen in my life. The saddle is just so old that there are already black spots, and she herself is completely yellow (well, they could have changed it already, it's not expensive, because no one cares about this hotel); - there is no such cabinet - there is a shelf left of it, since the doors have long been removed, the miter plastic in one place has even moved away 20 cm, the upper shelf is bent by 5 centimeters; - the furniture is damaged, but still warm; Territory and hotel: - several buildings and corridors are under repair, or rather they are just closed; - none of the 4 showers on the way from the beach are working, one has a foot tap and that's it.; - the pools on the right side of the pool are not working, the Jacuzzi on the left side is not working, and everything is working in the central part; - the left part of the beach was not serviced; - the central beach is clean, there were plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for everyone, even during the New Year period; - when it was stormy, I didn't see a single employee who cleans up the algae and poisonous jellyfish washed up on the shore of the "Portuguese ship" - they just stuck in a maroon flag and that's it. But in a nearby hotel, my uncle went to clean up jellyfish and algae.; - the operating mode of the cafes is very strange: once we arrived from an excursion at 17:30, the child wanted to eat, went to the Grill bar, which is open until 19:00 (if I remember correctly), it is closed. We went to the reception to find out where to smoke, they sent us back to the Grill bar, saying that it should work. As a result: there are periods of time when you don't eat anything at all at allinclusive, anywhere; - the ice cream tent has not been operating on the territory for a long time; - souvenir shops on the territory operate in a strange mode - for 15-30 minutes at an unknown time; By the way, cappuccino is only made in lobi, in other restaurants and bars there is only black coffee.; There is Internet in the rooms and in the bars on the territory too, it is weak and you need to log in every 40 minutes. The sockets are universal everywhere in the hotel - our eurovilli come in normally, the voltage is 220 volts. Check-out time is like everywhere else at 12:00, but with an additional payment they are awesome: $ 15 for every hour! And this is for the amenities described above. Normal hotels would have offered to stay for free in connection with such a disgrace (the hotel was 50% empty). As a result, I spent the first night trying to find options for where to move (Booking services and all other booking aggregators known to Russians do not work in Cuba), I did not find how to do it. On the second day, we resigned ourselves and decided not to spoil our vacation. The shops in the hotel are not expensive, they accept cards (I don't know about cards). In conclusion: the sea is good, the nature is beautiful, the excursions are interesting. But if there is a financial opportunity, then choose a new hotel (I don't remember the name). Tips, take only a dollar with you, do not buy pesos. on the beach, buy cigarettes only as a gift, it's better for yourself in the store. We had a rest in April 2023, the beach is wide, there are a lot of sunbeds, enough for everyone, but the beach itself is not very beautiful, there are a lot of large stones that spoil the view. On Cayo Coco, the beach is much better and the sand is shallower. The room we were given is nice, large, needs a little renovation, but that's okay. A big minus is a change of linen, during the 2 weeks of our stay at the hotel, we had our linen changed once. The food in the main restaurant: the choice is not very large, but the quality is very good, there were no queues. At the beginning of our arrival, there was always jamon, cheese with mold, slightly salted salmon, but after a week everything began to end, they announced to us that they were waiting for new supplies. There are a lot of fruits: apples, pineapples, papaya, guava, grapes and once there were bananas, and this in 2 weeks. Alcohol: excellent wine, white, pink, red, champagne always, rum is different, 3x, 7 years old. But the cocktails at the hotel are terrible! There has never been a mojito at all, then there is no mint, then there is no lime, pinocolade is just a chemical powder, daiquiri is disgusting. We were in Cuba 17 years ago and even in those days the cocktails were great. The territory of the hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, WiFi was well-connected throughout the territory and even in the room.

Unfortunately, Cuba has changed in the last 5 years. The high cost of excursions, services, souvenirs and clothes, as well as the poor choice of food, raise doubts whether it is worth coming here again. This hotel claims the fifth star level, but in fact deserves only two stars: old furniture in the rooms, noisy air conditioners, old or non-working appliances (refrigerator, safe, iron), mold in the shower on the tile and curtain, clogged sinks (poor drainage), weak water pressure, there are no basic personal or personal items general hygiene (razor, toothpaste and brush, toilet brush, cotton swabs), soap, shampoo and shower gel are of poor quality, bed linen does not change for the entire stay (only refueled), towels are replaced once every 2 days, insufficient lighting… Most of the rooms are under renovation or conservation. I have always chosen Iberostar hotels -a win-win option. But not this time. That Cuba (I had a vacation in 2006) is not nearby, except for the ocean. I drove with such a mood, but I was completely disappointed. From the hotel, from the staff who are not trying to maintain an image. There is no food. There is simply no food (eggs for breakfast as a delicacy), the service is disgusting, there are never cocktails in bars. Sometimes I was lucky to get a burger after lunch at the snack bar. In the rooms, only the bed is made, but not changed at all. Even if you ask for towels, even if you throw them on the floor, they are still not available for replacement. In general, we survived for 2 weeks. The whole family was poisoned in turn. I really enjoyed my 2 days stay at the Old Havana Plaza Hotel. The excursions to Varadero were not impressed. On a catamaran, a performance with dolphins in the open ocean is still nothing like that, but the reef turned out to be not interesting. As well as an excursion to the Caribbean coast, which is full of wide beaches with flour-white sand. But no, they were brought to stony, where it is not possible to enter without injuring yourself. In general, I do not recommend considering Cuba for a vacation. Don't waste your money and vacation.

The pools are clean, but one of the central pools was under reconstruction, which we were not warned about in advance, but we were not upset because we went exclusively to swim in the ocean. The beach is not bad, especially in good sunny weather. The animation is trying , both on the beach and on the hotel grounds, all the guys are cool. Of the minuses - the rooms were not cleaned in 10 days from the word at all , even if you leave a tip , even if not , the bed linen was never changed , the towels were changed every other time and sometimes , as it seemed to us , they were not fresh . The food was so -so , well , of course we understood where we were going , but if it was possible for a girl to get by for 10 days with what she had , then for a man who likes to eat a lot it would be a big problem , but no one died of hunger . If you are going to relax at this hotel, be sure to go to the beautiful paradise beach, which is located on the left side for half an hour walking along the coastline, you will not regret it. The hotel is dead, 2 of the 3 elevators are boarded up with just boards. The rooms have old plumbing and furniture, we had a closet in our room without doors. There are cockroaches in the rooms. Food... It's just disgusting, the omelette and pancakes are powdered, the bread is made of gray flour with a musty smell. The canteen is terrible, the plates are dirty, somehow washed, the waiters are fundamentally unsuitable in the end, they got tired of running after them and went to eat with their bottle of water. They want a dollar everywhere. Without it, they won't even pour you a bottle of water in the bar. There are no normal cocktails. Don't even dream of a Mojito or Pinacolada. They can pour rum cola. We got into a hurricane before leaving and sat without light and water for 2 days. For dinner and lunch, they went to the canteen and shone their phones. The generator??? They only connected everything else in the dark in the hotel kitchen . Just like the whole hotel, the paths. There are lanterns, but there are no light bulbs in them. I do not recommend the hotel. Wasted money and a ruined vacation.

We were at this hotel in 2016 (New Year's Eve) and 2023 (September) . A solid three-star hotel. I bet five, because I had a good rest, I love Cuba and the locals too. In 2016, there were 6 Russians in a crowded hotel. Now the hotel is half-empty and there were no more than 2% of foreigners in it. The rest of the "Turkish travelers". I hope the price of Cuba will be raised soon and they will rest where they should. Constantly boorish, rude speech to the service staff, garbage that they can't clean up after themselves. It is better to take toothpaste/ toothbrushes and in general everything you need with you (except for a hair dryer and towels). The bathroom has shampoo and shower gel with a very interesting kind of "Cuban" fragrance. The refrigerator and safe are free of charge. The air conditioner is working. Wi-fi catches well at the reception. In 2021, they gave an individual login and password for Internet access (at the reception) – it's free. Nutrition: the most interesting question for everyone. We initially knew that the food in Cuba is scarce, they write and talk about it everywhere. The first drink I tried here was papaya juice. It tasted just disgusting, and I thought, "well, we've arrived, apparently there's really nothing to eat here." And I was wrong. Papaya is good only in its mature or overripe form (we tried this later, in the form of fruits. And it is very tasty). You can eat well here. We even took fried chicken and fried eggs (yes, it is not always 100% fried). You can get used to such a diet. Now to the minuses that do not allow you to put 5 stars to this hotel. Firstly, there are problems with nutrition - the choice of dishes in restaurants is very limited, plus queues - all this makes you feel that you are not somewhere, but in the country of the victorious deficit (p/s talked to vacationers from other hotels in the region and not to say that it is much better there). The second is cleanliness, if I didn't have any big complaints about cleaning the room (although it would be possible to change the linen more often), then everything is not very good with cleaning the beach.

The towel in the room is not changed at all (I'm not talking about underwear anymore), beach towels are not changed either - the answer is "no towels". There are few umbrellas by the pool, there are poles, but there is no roof on them, no canopy. The territory is beautiful, the beach is long, you can walk.
