I recommend it to all lovers of weapons and military history. The exposition is very extensive, there are many exhibits; you can't get around the museum in a day. The description of some exhibits is not very accurate and not particularly detailed, but it does not spoil the overall impression.
At 15:00, everyone can listen to Turkish military marches performed live - quite interesting, although somewhat unusual.
It is useful to keep in mind: museum tickets are not sold for cash. Why is unknown.

A large military museum, somewhat similar to the artillery museum in St. Petersburg, you can go, but without a tour, not everything is clear

One of the most beloved museums in Istanbul. I've been in it 3 times already, it's impossible to get around it in a day. Away from the tourist streets, it is a real treasure for everyone who is interested in technology. There are unique samples of transport and other equipment from all over the world. There are many children's groups. Cozy cafes.

For fans of weapons and military history, this is the very thing. It is unpleasant that the museum did not accept cash at the cash desk. And since Russian cards are not accepted, we were able to get into the museum only thanks to friends. And at 15 o'clock there are very interesting concerts of Turkish military music. It's impressive.

A huge and interesting museum. Extremely strangely organized. Mehter's daily concert is the cherry on the cake.

They accept payment only by cards, so if you want to visit the museum itself, then keep in mind. The entrance to the museum itself is free.

It is interesting to know that the Yakuts are relatives of the Turks.
No Russian tourists were met. About Catherine II - silence.
