I was unlucky in February 2024. stay at this hotel. 4 stars only on the facade, 1-2 in content. I'm not a smoker, I was put in a smoky room. There is nothing in the room except soap and a TV. After their breakfast, they had to take pills for diarrhea. They steal, even in small things!!! The room lock opens while you are in the hotel, as soon as you leave it, the card will no longer work, every time you have to reset the card at the reception. There is a history with safearm in general. The entered code stops working as soon as you leave the hotel))) Upon check-in, I entered my code, but I did not leave my things in the safe. He left the hotel. He returned a few hours later. The card from the room does not work, I decided to check the safe, the same thing, there is no access to my entered code. Yes, then to the administrator, everything was restored. But it seemed strange. The next day I left 2 lira in the safe. I come back in the evening, everything is the same, the card number does not open, my code from the safe does not work. And accordingly, after the hotel employee unlocked the safe, it was empty)) It's good that I came for a couple of days, everything is at a minimum. Draw your own conclusions...

I took a room here, after another hotel from the same area, so I compare, the price was the same.
Of the advantages, I will note only the location. Otherwise, not very much. There is nothing in the room except soap and a TV. The breakfasts are not tasty, so I ate mostly boiled eggs and watermelon.
The interior is outdated, the mattress is bad. WiFi constantly crashes and requires you to log in again.
The price tag is inexpensive, but the impression is not very good.

This is not a 4 star hotel, it is a 2 star hotel.
There are really no advantages.
Minuses
The room has old shabby furniture, a non-working hair dryer and no other, a terrible bathtub, the smell of carpet permeates the entire room. You can smoke in the room, there is an ashtray and therefore it is all smoky.
4 stars include a lot of bathroom accessories, there is only shampoo and there is no question of bathrobes or slippers. The cleaning is going on so some of the things I need have been thrown away. This is the first time with me.
Breakfasts are just tears, coffee is diluted and bread , eggs , cheese , olives , cabbage are all out of the meal.
The case when you want to walk all day to return as late as possible.
When I asked for a hair dryer, they told me the hotel was old, sorry. the first photo is a hair dryer.
Then you know that put 2 stars and do not deceive people.
There is also an announcement at the reception that it is forbidden to carry food in the room , of course it is strange that you can smoke in the room, but you can not drink tea with a bun .

I am writing an honest review about a hotel in Istanbul-Instambul Royal Hotel. The 4* hotel does not pull in any way, only 3*!
- From the good: only the location and cleaning every day, BUT cleaning starts at 8 a.m. and the cleaners talk very loudly and wake everyone up. Good location- not far from the metro and tram. Nearby there are cafes, restaurants and a local canteen where the food is not bad. It's also good that you can't hear the Prayer Service from the street, which they sing to the whole city from 6:30 in the morning.
- On the downside, all the roommates are very audible!!! Also, if someone smokes from the neighbors, you will feel it well in your room!!! Tomorrow is disgusting and doomsday- the same thing every day: jam eggs, sliced cheese of two kinds, soy sausage of one kind, chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots and lettuce leaves, yogurt, local type ayran and disgusting soup. Coffee is about nothing at all, two types of juice like jupi. Generally not tasty at all. There are many African Americans in the hotel and in the area. You will not be able to get enough sleep in this hotel, unless you fall asleep under the TV and sleep peacefully under the noise. Wi-fi does not catch well in the room and in the hotel, pages on the Internet do not load. It is very noisy from the neighbors, if you open the window you will immediately hear the noise of the pipe that is on the side. The neighborhood is so-so, keep your bag tight. If you want to get enough sleep and have a good rest, it's better to check into another hotel,

I booked through Muzenides. Other operators do not work with this hotel. I don't trust bookings. During my stay of 5 days, I did not meet the Russian-speaking population. Very convenient location. It is located in the Laleli district. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the Grand Bazaar. There are a lot of shops around. We explored all the cafes nearby. It's delicious everywhere!!!
