A historical, blessed place for Christians. A river gushing out of the rock. Compared to the last visit in 2019, the spring was well equipped. It is advisable to get in good weather.

A great place to overestimate the meaning of life and swim in clean water, realizing that this is a historical place, it's a pity not everyone understands that traditions must be observed in trukhans or swimsuits, flattery in the water is not worth it, it's better to prepare long shirts in advance or at least put long T-shirts on a swimsuit, there is even a posted reminder about this, traditions were not invented by us, and it is not for us to break them!!!

A very quiet, peaceful place. Police officers are on duty (at the time of my visit there were two female majors). At the entrance, there was a very contact donkey, gave himself a pat, took food from his hands. Nearby there is a memorial in honor of the memory of the defenders of this area in the war with Georgia.

We came here for several days in a row, on the second day we decided to take a dip!
Grace! We went in the late afternoon so as not to meet buses with tourists. Nearby is the church of John Chrysostom, the grave of St. Basilisk, and also in the mountains the third finding of the head of John the Baptist!
In the first photo, this is the place from under the cliff where the river begins!😍
I advise you to visit these places.

A very positive place. I did not regret that I went. Words cannot convey it, but it feels like a blessed place. I recommend it to everyone. There is also a temple nearby, my wife liked it very much. My daughter and I did not go in, we were by the river and watched fishing on the mountain river.

The source is shallow. To take a dip, you need to lie down. The water is icy. It is very interesting that it flows out as if from under the mountain. Everything is refined. There is parking. The monument to those who died during the Georgian-Abkhazian war is here.

A place of spiritual power! A beautiful ancient monastery on the banks of a mountain river. Holy spring, grave of St. Basilisk. Definitely 5*. I rested my soul there) I recommend going without an excursion. The road is good, it is easy to drive by car. Grab the bottles under the water!
