That was the end of the visit, as the staff ran away from us or pointedly turned away, loudly discussing their questions. We were definitely noticed - there was more than one attempt to ask for help. It's a little cramped, but cozy. They make good delicious dishes, the price is like everywhere else at the average level in Abkhazia. Right next to the waterfront. The singers sing in the evenings. I liked it, there is a Ferris wheel and the sea nearby. Waiting, for example carbonara, 15 minutes. The staff are professionals in their field.

We went to eat at this cafe several times. The waiters are polite, the food is brought quickly. We ordered a pork neck kebab, I didn't like it, it's not a neck. There are a lot of veins and hard pieces. Borscht for three, it feels like it wasn't fresh. I liked pasta, grilled fish, salads. The price tag for alcohol is acceptable.

We were at 11 a.m., all the waiters are sluggish, they barely walk. Everything we ordered was not delicious. Especially the mutton. Very small fish, in a batter made of flour. Strong fishy taste, diluted with oil. Poorly cleaned insides. If they hadn't tried it elsewhere before, they wouldn't have eaten the lamb after this restaurant.

We had a rest in July 2022
Zhemchuzhina is the first cafe that we decided to visit when we arrived in Gagra, because the reviews are good - we were very sorry.
On the positive side, I would like to mention the stunning view and live music, but, unfortunately, the staff of this institution ruined everything.
We did not expect a high level of service, but we were frankly surprised by THIS attitude: the dishes on the bill are written by hand and we could not make out the handwriting of the waitress. When she came to pick up the payment, we asked again what was written in the invoice, we couldn't make it out. In response, the waitress shouted: we ate something and wrote it down!
When we left the restaurant, we passed her and another waitress, to whom, pointing at us, she once again loudly and more rudely informed: "They got drunk, then I wrote it down to them."
As for the dishes: the shish kebab is rubber, the wine is terribly sour, the khachapur boat is burnt.

A mediocre restaurant, no service whatsoever. We sat down at the table, after 2 hours they said the table was booked and we were simply kicked out, given a place at another table near the toilet. This is not an acceptable attitude towards customers. The only delicious food was lemonade. The food is very mediocre. This place did not meet our expectations. Sorry. We've never seen anything worse! We came to Abkhazia for a vacation and fell for the reviews about this institution, apparently they are well cleaned of negative ones here. I can only give 5 stars to the presenter, but all the staff and the kitchen deserve a solid 1. We ordered a shish kebab (rubber), ordered vegetables (bitter), ordered mussels (rotten) and what is it, nothing edible got to us! The waitress said it was a variety like this🙈 It's amazing that only in your establishment there are such varieties (vegetables, mussels and meat). In general, come to dance, yes, but do not risk eating!

Yes, you are on the shore, and the view of the sea (and the construction site, as without it). But the price is absolutely unclear from what it came out. The waiter could not explain, except how, well, girls, but they tried the Black Sea flounder. Rough. The toilet is unpleasant, as it is almost everywhere in Abkhazia.

But the food is disgusting. I decided that after visiting Abkhazia, it is impossible not to eat lamb kebab. I looked at what was being fried right on the spot, decided to order. Well, the price, it turns out, is stated for 100 g. In fact, it turned out to be 3 times more expensive. And who will check what the weight really is. They brought it not at all with fervor from the heat, but already slightly warm. In addition, the meat was with veins and films, not chewing at all. Khachapur in a royal way turned out to be very mediocre, dry and not so cheesy. The cognac, surprisingly, was better than anything else.
But I got very serious poisoning, so I didn't try shish kebab anywhere else.

We saw a lot of reviews and high praise — we decided to go. We did not understand how such an assessment was formed. The food is mediocre, the prices are high. Lamb kebab, fried flounder, tea and 150 ml of chacha cost 3,000. And it would be fine if it was awesome delicious, but no.
The service is good, the waiters are polite, and this is perhaps the only advantage of this place.

I rarely write bad reviews, but this situation does not give me peace of mind. It's not about the staff, they are kind enough. Everything in general was normal at first glance and we were even satisfied, the first time we came to a set lunch with a friend, ate, were satisfied. Nothing foreshadowed, but the next day they came down with poisoning, vomiting and diarrhea, they didn't even think it was because of this cafe, and let the situation go, blaming it on other moments. But before leaving, I took my family to eat a set lunch, in the evening before the plane, my mother just started having trash, she fainted and turned inside out. A coincidence? I don't think so!! In addition to this institution, they did not eat anywhere on this day. What I went through looking at how bad my loved one was, the whole flight was incredibly bad for her! It's just awful!!! I still remember this situation with tears. Please be careful and eat better at home!!!! Complexes definitely do not advise anyone, take care of yourself.

We took one lunch (salad 2 spoons, borscht, mashed potatoes with goulash, 2 slices of bread, tea) - 350 rubles very tasty, like at grandma's house) we also took round khachapur + fried trout (450 grams for about 1000 rubles) . Overall, the impression was very good.
The DJ's musical choice is excellent. Both old and new, there was everything. I really liked his "additions" to the tracks. He knows how to rock a crowd. The whole time we had dinner, the dance floor was full.
The staff is polite, they quickly came up to us and took the order. We didn't wait long at all.
I liked the kitchen. We took barbecue pizza, mushroom soup, steak (it was medium rare) with potatoes, khachapuri boat (there was little cheese).
The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable sofas. Yes, there are a lot of dogs, but there are a lot of them in Abkhazia, so I don't think this is a problem.
We will definitely go there again before the end of the vacation.
