The zoo is just great. Food is sold at the checkout. Especially in a building with two floors. There is a butterfly garden, a room with terrariums, a room with fish and snakes. There are a lot of animals there. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The lynxes stank of cats, the ungulates had the smell of fresh manure, in fact, that was all. The animals are glossy, well-fed, calm. The tigers look pleased. Many animals have babies, especially the tigress, who fed her kittens right in front of the bars, was impressed. The only thing is that the conditions are not very good for birds. Hopefully, after the repairs that are currently underway there, the birds will be better too. I especially feel sorry for the swan, which sits alone and without a lake. Why is he separate from others, is he being punished or something?

There used to be a petting zoo, now it's closed. There is no place to have a snack, or to eat. At least carts with ice cream, corn, or cotton candy. But I found a place where there is a great barbecue and not an expensive menu. This is a canteen, or cafe from the left. From the main entrance of the zoo. I recommend it very tasty. They are fascinated by zebra and tiger cubs. Of the cons. We got into repairs, excavations, dust, wires, punches all around. We are very disappointed with the terrarium, there used to be more snakes and other reptiles, and until you find this dark and uncomfortable place, you can forget why you came. On the plus side, there are many benches with canopies, in the heat there is a place to sit and relax. To come to Karaganda with children and go to the zoo is our minimum program)))

After the renovation, visiting the zoo is just a pleasure))) in the summer, I got to the moment of feeding and I will tell you they fed very well, large portions of fruit and not some kind of rot, but very good ones, they gave a lot of meat to predators and were pleasantly surprised that in the heat the aviaries were watered with water.

We were in the period of repair and preparation for the opening of the new building, however, despite this, the territory is very large, there is something to see. There are quite a lot of animals, reptiles and birds, as well as, which was a surprise for us, a large variety of artiodactyls in spacious pens with a low fence, which allowed us to admire the animals up close.
