A very nice shopping mall! Entering the shopping center from the cold winter, one gets the feeling that one has entered a tropical paradise. When visiting Astana, I definitely stop by Khan Shatyr for gifts for my family. Definitely 5 stars!

A giant tent, inside a basement with a hypermarket and ATMs, two or three floors of chain brands and local. Then the food court is even higher (cramped, you need to catch places to sit down). Then children's entertainment and a swimming pool. One of the disadvantages is a cramped food court and not quite clear navigation. For shopping lovers, great, of course. Directly from the shopping center, you can walk along the avenue to Bayterek, it will be two kilometers. A very popular place, full of children, teenagers walking.

I was in the UAE (emirates). I have seen similar structures in Dubai. Apparently Nazarbayev copied the architecture from there. He was the initiator of the construction of such a supermarket. Impressive size, interesting architectural and engineering solution. From a distance, it looks like the titanium ravenna of the VDNH in Moscow. But alas, the roof is made of some kind of polymer, and clearly suffering from intense ultraviolet radiation. Inside is a typical, expensive shopping mall, which was also disappointing. I expected to see a museum or an exhibition there at least. Because, again, the object looks epic.
