The history of the church in Knyazhitsy can be divided into three stages.
The first one is Catholic, from the moment it was built in 1780 until its closure in 1863
The second one was Orthodox, after the conversion of the church into the Orthodox church of St. Alexander Nevsky in 1865 and until 1965, when the church was finally closed.
The third one is abandoned, since the closure
There is a nest of storks nearby.

The stairs to the balcony of the second floor are still preserved, but the stairs to the towers have already collapsed. There are also remnants of scaffolding, they do not look reliable, you need to be very careful.

A monumental and impressive structure. It is located on a hill. The former greatness of the once beautiful church is felt. How he looked at his best from the outside and what was inside is anyone's guess. Unfortunately, it is currently in a neglected, dilapidated state. It is surrounded by a fence, there is no smell of restoration. It will be difficult to get inside, and it's not worth it, it's too dangerous, at any moment something can collapse. There is a shop and an apartment building nearby. There is a lawn right in front of the church, from which you can take a beautiful photo.
