The entrance to a stylish place (((. Dimmed light, you can not see at all what is being served ... they brought a salad - chopped tomatoes dusted with onions - that's all. A bread plate with the same bread slightly warmed in oil (probably not fresh bread), the oil is already dripping, the meat and potatoes are over-stewed in a rustic way and obviously warmed up more than once. I'm sad and sorry for the calories spent on this mess. The price tag does not match at all. Sleepy, uninterested waiters. In general, longing for a large amount of vegetable oil. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!!!

Dear residents of Samarkand and guests of our city, there are a lot of restaurants and cafes in Samarkand. I would not recommend visiting this place. It is difficult to call its cafe not a cafe but a restaurant with double prices. Very very expensive to be honest, I did not think that such prices and the dish I would not say excellent. It was the first and last time and I do not advise others. Purely a scam. And real Samarqandans will immediately understand this .

I would not recommend holding any banquets at the Chimes.The place is not sharpened for a big event.The sound was turned on for the presenter - and it was just hellish bad! There is no dressing room.It's cramped.It's dark because it's meant to be and it's not Good! It's good to just sit here and pass the evening beautifully in a small company. There are no complaints about the DJ.The setting is beautiful. There is parking.

The first evening in Uzbekistan, we chose by rating and got into an unpleasant situation - the food is expensive, not enough money was exchanged at the airport and we could not fully pay for the order in local currency. I had rubles with me. They gladly agreed to change us at the rate of 80 per ruble, assuring us that the bank would not give us more, they say, we were terribly lucky that we came here…
Later, the capital bank calmly changed the official exchange rate of 120 per ruble.
It turns out that on the first day of the trip, they gave away an extra 380000 soums.

The establishment is good with a good contingent and staff. Staff is very polite and friendly.
And I would like to add that I did not like the hookah at all, since a disposable, cheap plastic hose is used and does not correspond to the set price at all. Most other establishments make hookah 10 times better, if not more, I'm not exaggerating, I'm telling it like it is.
The second point is lemonade. In short, there was no taste in the lemonade. There was only ice and a little berry smell, if it was a berry, maybe it was syrup, honestly, it's hard to say. Unfortunately, there are disadvantages as in other establishments.
Overall, it's a good place, with a great DJ.

We were invited to meet and sit at the Chimes. It's like a place of worship, in the very center of the city, near the Square. Without any "second thoughts", suspecting nothing at all — no price tricks, hoping to leave more or less of the usual expenses for such establishments, we were eventually surprised, to put it mildly. Oh, come on, we just couldn't believe our eyes. 🧐🤨
It's not that we sat "on the last" and got so upset, no. But when, for example, you are going to spend money for something quite routine (well, to sit in a restaurant, a cafe, well, how much you leave — there is always some kind of forecast). So, they brought a receipt, the prices of which are higher than any expectation: they were simply multiplied 3-5 times from those that are around! No, well, it would be some incredible cuisine, I don't know, molecular, and the chef from the thrice-Michelin-starred establishment would cook everything. Not at all. It's just like in any good restaurant. Only the price tag is at least three times too high.
Well, guys… Well, somehow it's not clear why this is so, really. I understand that goods/services cost as much as they are sold for.
Well, probably, this kind of thing rolls only in the epicenter of tourism, it is designed for a one-time visit. Each of us certainly had enough time. Well, you don't have anything that would catch and forgive your crazy prices. Or we didn't notice, unfortunately.
So the review is for those who have not been to you yet. And then the people who get acquainted with it will at least have a choice BEFORE they have already come and got there.
Oh, and one more thing. They smoke hookah everywhere. All over the place. We were in the evening, and we were deafened by sooo loud music. So anyone who wants to sit down and chat is unlikely to succeed here.
They say that in other "Chimes" that were built very close relatively recently, the prices are ... even higher 👆
But we haven't been there, I don't know anything else about that place.
As it is, everything is fine: the food is normal, the service is too, everyone is friendly, judging by the facial expressions (you can't hear the words — the music is very loud)🤷♂️

One of the most unpleasant places in Tashkent where I managed to go. Having bought into the review on the Internet, we went to dinner. In an empty restaurant, we were seated on the aisle, the wild price tag for the food did not pay off with its quality: cobb burns with salt and it is impossible to eat it, the steak burned, and the ramen is simply not delicious. The final touch to complete the composition can be considered that right next to you while you are eating, ladders are being carried, tables and chairs are being moved with a wild roar. I strongly advise against it.
