A cozy and delicious place in the heart of the old town. Dolma melting in your mouth, delicious eggplant salad, fragrant persimmon. Almost everything we took here was either delicious or very tasty. The restaurant has two floors, most of the tables are located on the second floor. The fit is tight, but there is no discomfort. The menu is small, but the choice is sufficient (it compares favorably with the basement restaurants popular in Baku with huge menus, the quality of which often raised big questions). The waiters are very attentive and nice.

A cozy restaurant with an intelligent homely atmosphere. Prices are average compared to other establishments, the menu is good, the dishes are all very tasty. I would especially like to note the hospitality of the staff, we came at rush hour with full boarding, we were greeted and were able to find a table. Polite, patient waiters who want to provide all guests with a decent rest.

Great restaurant!
We were in Baku for 10 days, on the 5th day we were prompted by this restaurant and we went to it every day before departure. Very interesting dishes, huge portions, and most importantly, the attitude of the staff and owners (and they are almost always in the restaurant).
There are many good places in Baku, but often the staff spoils the impression. They create the impression that the client owes them, that he is being served. Tipping for tips, haughty appearance, etc.
Everything is great in this restaurant!
Eggplant salad is a huge plate with an incomparable salad
Homemade ice cream is something that will be remembered for a long time!

Very pleasant staff, high level of customer orientation, incredibly delicious food. But the most important thing is the general atmosphere of beauty, authenticity, comfort and warmth. The story of the owner of the restaurant and the place itself is creepy. ♥

A small restaurant with 2 floors located in the center of the old city of Baku (not far from the palace). It is open from 9:00 to 00:00. The menu of national cuisine. On the ground floor there are 2 large tables for groups, on the second floor there are several small tables. It's very cozy.

I came here because of the positive reviews. The atmosphere is really pleasant, relaxing - this is a plus. That's all of the advantages…
I have just tasted the worst pilaf in my life: 3 small pieces of mutton, a pile of bread and undercooked rice. There is nothing to say about the impregnation of rice, as it should be in pilaf. It's just not there, dry unsalted rice. Oh yes, 3 dry chestnuts don't count.
Now about the "service". Such employees need to be driven away as soon as possible. 3! the waiters on the 2nd floor NEVER smiled during the whole time (1.5 hours). They could not advise the dish and chose it myself. After taking away the half-eaten pilaf, none of them even thought to ask why it was not finished. Then it's even more interesting: from 21.32 to 21.57, only tea was left on the table (more than 40 minutes after the pilaf was taken away). No one came up to me to ask if I needed anything else (dessert, etc.). Or at least offer to count it. At 22.00 I decided to ask for the bill myself (more than an hour passed alone with tea...😂).
In general, I have never seen a worse restaurant in Baku...!

A place that will remain in my heart!
It's a little cramped here and there's not much space between the tables, but it's very cozy, very good lighting, there's a balcony where you can also sit (but it's small).
The service is excellent, the waiters were very nice.
I was pleased with the menu - it is diverse, unusual, there is local food.
It was just wonderful tea - rooibos, very tasty. I also remember the salad with figs, I haven't eaten salads with such pleasure for a long time)))
I recommend it to everyone and I will definitely visit it myself if I am in Baku again.

looking at the photos, you can make the erroneous conclusion that this is an institution with manners, but in fact it is a very cozy -at-home restaurant. the portions are large, everything that was taken was very tasty. and the biggest plus restrana is the waiter Ilham. for the first time in my half century, I met someone who knows his cuisine, his restaurant so well, and who talks about all this with such passion and interest - if you ask. We will come back here every time we are in Baku.

The most sincere institution in Baku!!!! We will be happy to return here and recommend everyone to visit it.
Of the advantages:
1. Very attentive and attentive service, I have never seen this in Baku before.
2. A very wide selection of dishes, many interesting national dishes. I want to try everything!
3. Very tasty, everything is fresh and large portions. Most of the dishes can be safely divided into two (we had a salad of crispy eggplant, sturgeon Baku Boulevard, ice cream)
4. Interesting interior, many books can be viewed. Moreover, the children were presented with books about Azerbaijan.
I would especially like to mention homemade ice cream made from figs or roses, be sure to try it.
I am very impressed and I would like to say a huge thank you to the owners of the restaurant and wish them good luck and more guests!

Nice little restaurant in the center. The staff speaks Russian.
The staff is very friendly and attentive.
Delicious food and pleasant prices (slightly overpriced, because this is the center)
We managed to try dolma with basil leaves and sweet cabbage rolls, for dessert we took ice cream from figs. All the dishes were very tasty.
Inside there is an interesting interior with books, records and various handmade items. There is also a balcony with city views. There's a narrow windowsill table, but it's comfortable to sit on.
The bill for two came out at 62 manats.

The best place in Baku, I found it on the second day and went every day after that.
The most delicious thing for me is breakfast there! This is the best thing I ate in Baku for breakfast. I especially liked to sit at the tables on the balcony, because there is a beautiful view from there. The waiters are also very nice and pleasant, they even took a picture of me))

Very beautiful, cozy interior. There are many photos of famous people who visited this restaurant hanging on the stairs. Everything is done with taste. Go to the toilet and you will understand everything!

Very tasty cuisine, the freshest products, beautiful service, polite and friendly staff, speaks Russian well, prices are no higher than everywhere else. The kebab turned out to be even cheaper and tastier at times (the chicken melted in my mouth) and the portion is larger, plus grilled vegetables go with it.
I definitely recommend it!

We came here based on a recommendation. The local flavor is off the charts. It's like home inside and out. It doesn't look like a classic restaurant with tablecloths. Atrium, stairs, cozy tables and a balcony. Atmospheric, delicious. Chestnut soup, eggplant salad, something else delicious and with rose leaves. In short, we have to go, watch and try. The place is popular with our and not our media and not very citizens))

A lovely, cozy, small cafe in the old town. Baku residents recommended us to visit this place and we did not regret it.
First of all - friendly staff and excellent cuisine! We took okroshka, dovra, fisinjan pilaf, chicken kebab, ice cream, tea. The pilaf was served very unusual, it was delicious, not greasy.
Prices are affordable, as everywhere.
I really liked it and hope that I will be able to visit again

This is, of course, a very delicious restaurant. The cuisine is amazing - one check-pilaf is worth it! The selection of wines is also good. They serve us promptly and carefully.
But it is also either a book club or a museum dedicated to the Azerbaijani writer of Jewish origin Kurban Said. The atmosphere of Baku at the beginning of the last century, when this city became eastern Paris, has been recreated.
There is an amazing balcony with a stunning view.
By the way, the restaurant is located right next to the entrance to the Shirvanshahs' palace.
In the evenings, the musician soulfully performs jazz melodies.
I highly recommend this place.

A wonderful spiritual institution!
The atmosphere, interior, service, food - everything is at the highest level! National dishes are cooked with a twist (they have not been seen anywhere else in Baku). The waiters told about all the menu items and advised the best. The waiter Shamil even prepared dessert for us after the kitchen was closed so that we wouldn't leave upset :)
