The inexpensive hotel is located in the heart of the Old Town. Rooms for every taste. All locations and the sea are within walking distance. Courteous staff. Good internet. A significant drawback is that there is no refrigerator. And it is not suitable for people with limited mobility. They brought it from the airport for free. There is a confusion with the name. Somewhere the hotel is called Golden Rose. There is also a metro nearby, a huge Deniz Mall and Primorsky Boulevard is magnificent. Take a walk to your health.

Advantages: location. Then there are only disadvantages, there is a perfect picture with good reviews on the booking. The air conditioner is not working, the windows do not close and the wind is blowing, it is very cold at night, when asked to fix the split system to make it warmer, they promised to figure it out and no one did anything. Bare wires are sticking out at a height where a child can reach, we saw this when we tried to understand why the TV was not working (it was also never repaired). Sockets are torn out, curtains are torn off. 2 light bulbs work from the light. It's dirty, very dirty. The floor is stained, dusty, towels (they give out one per person, wildly stinking of bleach and nevertheless stained anyway). The plumbing is rusty, black mold in the bathroom. The room is not cleaned, if anything. Tomorrow is included in the price and it pleased me exactly until a cockroach ran across the tablecloth. I'm afraid to imagine the kitchen itself. It was noisy, the door with huge slits, apparently it was repeatedly broken down. I'm attaching a photo, it's a pity you can't attach the unbearable smell of sewage. The travel experience is decent, I can safely say that this is the worst place, even for a transfer stop.

it's a terrible place. We lived in a suite, but in fact… If the picture of the room seems beautiful to you, then in fact everything is not so. Water in the cooler from the tap. The bed linen and towels are dirty. Apparently everything is so old that it can't be washed anymore. It is impossible to sleep on the bed, because it is broken. We lifted the mattress - there were not enough boards on which it should lie. Because of this, sitting or lying on the bed, you fail. We lived on the top floor, so the heat was killing us. During the day, the air conditioner did not save, and at night it was impossible to turn on the low temperature, because it blew directly on us, it is easy to get sick (the air conditioner is located directly above the bed). The TV doesn't work, there are no curtains, so the sun baked even more especially in the morning. The room is like a sauna. The toilet is generally a separate topic. There are barely 3 drops in the shower. Moreover, in an incomprehensible way, the same water flowed down to the bathroom floor. The toilet was leaking, so every time you went to the toilet, you stepped on a puddle. And then the same water flowed onto the carpet. Not even soap. there is a drain on the floor, but for some reason it is higher than the floor itself, so the water did not go away. I had to look for other places in the city where at least my head could be washed. The light was blinking. Even better to say, it basically didn't work and only sometimes turned on for a couple of seconds, and then turned off for a long time. Soon it burned out altogether. The toilet stank constantly. Of course, we told the reception about all the problems, but no one did anything. They just nodded, saying yes, yes, the master came, it didn't work out to fix it. Although no one even entered the room, the remote control was lying where it had been before. No one changed the towels, and initially they were given 1 less than necessary. If, for unknown reasons, you still decide to check into this hotel, then do not go for breakfast there. There were four of us, three were given a sausage, one was not. It was the same with cookies and waffles. They said it was over. And the price has not changed. Although the only thing that was satisfying there was a sausage. A sprig of grapes was lying, probably unwashed. There were also saucers with condensed milk, jam, etc., but they had hair in them. The only thing that kept us was the location, so there was a beautiful view from the window. But even here there was a minus- unwashed windows for a million years. But you can go to the roof, there are no problems to admire.

If you somehow stumbled upon this hotel, then don't hesitate to run! Firstly, they offered to meet us at the airport. Arriving at 01:00 at night, we did not find any greeter, as a result, we tried to leave the airport for 2 hours. Secondly, arriving in the old town, neither the driver nor the locals knew such a hotel and address, no one answered the hotel phone. In the end, we somehow found this hotel in the night, with suitcases, which does not even have a sign with the name! And the receptionist was sleeping sweetly on the sofa. After we saw this hotel, we realized why there is no information about it, because it's a terrible horror! We were settled in a room (with an incomprehensible window, terribly dirty, with a bed whose springs dug into our backs), referring that there were no available rooms and they would move tomorrow. Since we arrived at 1 am and got to the hotel only at 4 am, we agreed to this, in the hope that another room would be better (I attach a photo of the first room), by the way, a neighbor was snoring symphonically loudly behind the wall, and the window looked out onto the roof of the veranda, which was sprinkled with cigarette butts! In the morning, the first thing we did was go to the reception (we didn't even wash, because the shower was in a terrible state), we sat for two hours, during this time 4 people came up with a request to relocate them🤦🏻♀️ Having somehow settled into another room, we realized that it wasn't the room, but the whole hotel as a whole! Terrible unsanitary conditions with age-old dirt and no cleaning will save you, but only major repairs will save you! Plumbing is falling apart, the water in the shower was running in different directions (fortunately repaired immediately) the toilet stopped holding water, came, repaired, after the first drain it broke again… Bed linen, towels, all torn, in terrible stains… One day during the cleaning they took away our towels, leaving two small ones, saying that there were no clean towels in the hotel! So we wiped ourselves with these ragged scraps! I don't say anything about the "dining room" at all, the only time we decided to have breakfast there, because we didn't have time to go somewhere before the tour, we came at 8:15 (the schedule states the working hours from 08:00-11:00)the door is closed, and you can hear the alarm clock working behind it. So the hungry ones left, well, thank God, otherwise we don't know what would be waiting for us there for breakfast. Of the advantages is the location and the view from the window of our room, EVERYTHING! With all this, there are quite a lot of people in the hotel, apparently people just like us fell for the photos (they are nothing compared to reality yet) + it is very difficult to find hotel reviews (apparently they are being cleaned) so as not to lose customers. We booked a room called Azerturk Hotel Baku, and here is another name, but the address and photos of the rooms of this particular hotel. And as we found out, the hotel has several more names with identical photos. Draw your own conclusions🤷🏻♀️ In this regard, a question arises to the management of the hotel: well, how are you? You have such a great location of the hotel, how can you leave it in such a state??? It will remain a mystery to us (

Upon check-in, at 6 am (the plane arrived 2 hours late), the room that I had booked was occupied by someone from the staff, after a short altercation with the reception staff, the room was of course vacated, but as far as I could understand in 3 minutes of waiting, no one had time to re-make the bed, that is, they did not bother. I was not up to it, I put another sheet on top and slept for 2 hours. But the sediment, like grizza, remained. There is carpet on the floor, not very clean, the plumbing is tired. But most importantly, a working air conditioner. If I hadn't come for 4 hours, maybe I wouldn't have been satisfied with everything, but so... No one will tell you the coordinates of the hotel located in the old town, they just don't know. As a landmark, the Hungarian Embassy and the Atropat Hotel are nearby.

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was like from a horror movie, the flooring was made of lint and it was so dirty, sticky, with huge broken spots of something, it was disgusting to walk even in sneakers. The room is old, I haven't seen the repairs for a long time, I didn't even go down to the restaurant. But the highlight was, the toilet smelled of sewage all over the room, was it nice to live with such a smell? No! When I was asked to change the room, they apologized to me in broken English, said that there were no vacancies now and tomorrow they would call a plumber to eliminate the smell. It didn't suit me at all, I booked another hotel for myself and safely left the part of Icheri Sheher in general, and didn't regret a drop. Of the advantages of this hotel, my room had a panoramic view of the Flame Towers👌
