A couple of steps from Istiklal Street is a great way to start the day with a delicious menemen and a traditional dessert in the heart of Istanbul. There is not much space here, so the tables are sometimes occupied. Pleasant young people bring the order, smile politely, answer questions, and understand a little English. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is pleasant, I come back here every time I come to Constantinople!

The best menemen I've ever tasted in Istanbul, and always fresh, crusty bread! I had breakfast there every morning! I definitely recommend it.

The menemen are delicious, they bring half a loaf of bread to it. I also took a kaymak ball (kaymak with honey), but I didn't appreciate it: it's no worse from the supermarket, but it costs several times cheaper.

Very tasty menemen. The staff is friendly, they will transfer you closer to the window on the second floor, if a better place suddenly becomes available :) There is almost always a full landing, and locals also come here for breakfast.
