We had a rest in November 2024. Of the advantages: location, close to all major historical sites, walked to Sofia, Suleymania, Blue Mosque, etc., to the tram stop, grocery aisles, Grand Bazaar, Egyptian bazaar. Another advantage was the high-quality cleaning. We had a maid, Leila, a great fellow, and she will pass with a vacuum cleaner, and a mop under the bed, and always put what is necessary on the table: water, tea, coffee, etc. Thank her very much. I don't even know where to put the breakfast, on the pros or cons. In terms of variety, it is meager. There are always two types of yoghurts, omelet and boiled eggs, from meat - only local sausages and sausages, that is, from starch and toilet paper. Several types of cheeses, and fresh rolls. Fruits: apples, grapes, tangerines or fruits, delicious. In general, the breakfast is good, we never went hungry. Of the cons: the rooms are small and very small. If in Lalyakhan, the rooms are small, if in Ilkay, they are very small. Ilkai is three stars, the living area is about 6 sq. m. The biggest disadvantage in autumn and winter: these are windows, there is no concept of cameras, aluminum frames and single glazing. It is blowing and very cold, for indoor Siberians you need a warm hoodie and a shawl for the waist. The tram runs under the windows, quite often, as in the hallway. For the unaccustomed, they will wake up at night. In general, the hotel is normal, cheaper than others in its segment.

March 13
Excellent price/quality ratio! We rented a superior room on March 8-9, 2025, got 401 (4th floor, there is an elevator). On the island, the price turned out to be 7300 with breakfast.
The hotel is in the center, we walked everywhere. There was a tram under the windows, which did not cause any inconvenience to us personally, especially on the 4th floor and above. The hotel is not the newest and pretentious, but everything is very clean, well maintained and pleasant. The linen and towels are clean, the air conditioner is working properly. The breakfasts are excellent for this price, everything is delicious and fresh. With a huge selection of hotels in the center, 99% of the next trip we will stay here again.

A good, good-quality hotel in the heart of historical Istanbul - Fatih district, within walking distance from the main attractions of ancient Istanbul - Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque [Sulatakhmet], Topkapi Palace, Istanbul Archaeological Museum, Spice Bazaar and others, while with excellent transport accessibility and connection to all other parts of the city.
The hotel, being located on a very noisy and crowded shopping street with tram tracks, turned out to be very cozy, and with a room facing the courtyard - we were just very lucky - it was quiet and peaceful, regardless of the location of the hotel!
The aforementioned Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are 1 (ONE!) away. the tram stop from the hotel, with which to go to the hotel stop is only 170m.! (according to Google Maps).
As for the hotel itself:
1. The room we got is in fairly good condition;
2. Impeccable readability in public areas and in the room;
3. Clear and helpful work of the staff
4. Perfect location in the very historical center!
The only drawback I have personally identified, which, in other respects, is not particularly critical for many - subjectively, rather weak breakfasts. The choice of food on the buffet is extremely poor, the quality of the products is very mediocre (as in 2 - 3-star Turkish hotels on the Anatolian coast). For me, the quality, taste and variety of food in the hotel for breakfast is important, so I could not help but focus on this circumstance, but in general, I repeat, it is NOT critical. You can eat, and you won't stay hungry (if you're not too picky about food).
In general, I recommend this hotel if you want to be comfortable and inexpensive enough ($115 per night in early May 2024, when booking at the end of March) to stay as close as possible to the central, most popular attractions of ancient Constantinople.
