A good, good-quality hotel in the heart of historical Istanbul - Fatih district, within walking distance from the main attractions of ancient Istanbul - Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque [Sulatakhmet], Topkapi Palace, Istanbul Archaeological Museum, Spice Bazaar and others, while with excellent transport accessibility and connection to all other parts of the city.
The hotel, being located on a very noisy and crowded shopping street with tram tracks, turned out to be very cozy, and with a room facing the courtyard - we were just very lucky - it was quiet and peaceful, regardless of the location of the hotel!
The aforementioned Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are 1 (ONE!) away. the tram stop from the hotel, with which to go to the hotel stop is only 170m.! (according to Google Maps).
As for the hotel itself:
1. The room we got is in fairly good condition;
2. Impeccable readability in public areas and in the room;
3. Clear and helpful work of the staff
4. Perfect location in the very historical center!
The only drawback I have personally identified, which, in other respects, is not particularly critical for many - subjectively, rather weak breakfasts. The choice of food on the buffet is extremely poor, the quality of the products is very mediocre (as in 2 - 3-star Turkish hotels on the Anatolian coast). For me, the quality, taste and variety of food in the hotel for breakfast is important, so I could not help but focus on this circumstance, but in general, I repeat, it is NOT critical. You can eat, and you won't stay hungry (if you're not too picky about food).
In general, I recommend this hotel if you want to be comfortable and inexpensive enough ($115 per night in early May 2024, when booking at the end of March) to stay as close as possible to the central, most popular attractions of ancient Constantinople.

We had a rest in November 2024. Of the advantages: location, close to all major historical sites, walked to Sofia, Suleymania, Blue Mosque, etc., to the tram stop, grocery aisles, Grand Bazaar, Egyptian bazaar. Another advantage was the high-quality cleaning. We had a maid, Leila, a great fellow, and she will pass with a vacuum cleaner, and a mop under the bed, and always put what is necessary on the table: water, tea, coffee, etc. Thank her very much. I don't even know where to put the breakfast, on the pros or cons. In terms of variety, it is meager. There are always two types of yoghurts, omelet and boiled eggs, from meat - only local sausages and sausages, that is, from starch and toilet paper. Several types of cheeses, and fresh rolls. Fruits: apples, grapes, tangerines or fruits, delicious. In general, the breakfast is good, we never went hungry. Of the cons: the rooms are small and very small. If in Lalyakhan, the rooms are small, if in Ilkay, they are very small. Ilkai is three stars, the living area is about 6 sq. m. The biggest disadvantage in autumn and winter: these are windows, there is no concept of cameras, aluminum frames and single glazing. It is blowing and very cold, for indoor Siberians you need a warm hoodie and a shawl for the waist. The tram runs under the windows, quite often, as in the hallway. For the unaccustomed, they will wake up at night. In general, the hotel is normal, cheaper than others in its segment.

It's a great place. This is the second time I've stopped. Friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, comfortable rooms. The location is in the center, the sights are just around the corner. Topkapi is a 10-minute walk away, the Egyptian Bazaar is 5 minutes away. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. It's noisy during the day because of the trams. But usually it doesn't really bother.

A huge plus is that this is a historical area on the coast of the Marmara Sea, the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn and the main attractions of Istanbul are within walking distance: Gulhane Park, Blue Mosque, Suleymaniye Mosque, St. Sophia, the Aqueduct of Valenta, Grand Bazaar, Egyptian Bazaar.

Nice staff, all tourist places are nearby, they feed you delicious food, and they can even talk to you in Russian.
In general, I advise everyone, but if you have come to relax, and not to visit tourist places, it is better to choose something else. The rooms are nice, clean, tidy. There is Wi-Fi, even if it does not always catch in the best way

A cozy hotel in the historical center of the city. Very close walking distance to the most important attractions. Clean, without pathos, friendly staff. Trams under the windows add color and do not interfere with rest at all. Leaving the hotel, you immediately find yourself on a busy tourist street with shops, restaurants and cafes of various price categories.
Nice hotel!
In the center and not too loud. All the sights of Sultanahmet are within walking distance.
The room was big enough for three people.
Clean bed linen and fresh towels.
I slept great after hiking in Istanbul.

The hotel is on a noisy street. It consists of several buildings. There is a chance that they will put you in a room not in the main building, but in a neighboring one with a different name. There is only one entrance, so don't worry. The breakfasts are very tasty, hearty, tea and coffee in a drip coffee maker. There is a bus stop and a metro nearby.

The hotel consists of the former 2, we were booked Lalahan, and we lived in Ilkey. But they have the same entrance and reception. The hotel is small, we barely found it even on the navigator, walking down the street with suitcases. But its location is good, close to everything, and Sultanahmet, Topkapi and the sea are in the same proximity, very convenient. The hotel is located on a street where trams run, and they run very close to the sidewalks, you have to be careful. The audibility is very high in the hotel, both from the street and from the neighbors. We booked with breakfast, there's a cafe right there. A poor assortment, but we are not picky, there are eggs, cheese, sausages, rolls. By the way, delicious coffee. We had enough of this charge for almost a full day. The rooms are clean, but the bathroom is outdated. There are air conditioners.

A good hotel. The room is large, there are even like two of them. Separated by a partition. The breakfast is excellent. The location is convenient. There is a metro and a tram stop nearby. I would repeat it!

Very nice hotel! The location is perfect. The breakfasts are quite edible. The staff is friendly and ready to help, in the morning there is a girl at the reception Jamila who speaks excellent Russian and will help you get used to it. The hotel is apparently renovated, everything is brand new. However, there is one small problem if you are a person taller than 190 cm. 😄(see photo). The mule does not scream in the morning under the windows, as it was in one of the hotels in Bangkok, it is comfortable to sleep.
Of the disadvantages, only weak noise insulation of the entrance door, you can hear if someone is messing around in the hallway, but there are only two rooms on the floor, so it does not bother.
There are a lot of restaurants and cafes around, many of which break prices, got caught on the first day and left ~ 500 liras for two (4500r.) the food was for four. Then, on the advice, we went a little deeper into the cafe Zya shark (I may be mistaken in the name) There was a very delicious kebab.
Some useful tips for those who are traveling for the first time:
From the airport to this hotel, take a taxi right on the street, having previously changed 300 lira at the airport (but no more, the rate is predatory at the airport), stop the taxi driver on the street and say that he would not drive according to the meter but for 300 lira, our third taxi driver agreed. If you take the meter, they can carry vegetable gardens winding kilometers
Don't go to the Egyptian bazaar (it's nearby) in the afternoon, there's pandemonium, it's better to go to the closing ~ 6-7 pm.
Start walking along Istiklal Street from the upper northern point (thanks to Jamila) otherwise you will climb the mountain with drops of several hundred meters.
Palaces, etc. are closed to tourists on Tuesdays.

Terrible hotel: impolite staff, photos of rooms do not correspond to reality, as it turned out later, they were settled in another hotel - the old building, very high audibility inside the hotel - you can hear what is happening on the floor below, a lot of noise from the tram (windows do not help).
I do not recommend a 3* hotel at most! Collectively, I put 1* for the entire service package

The location of the hotel is convenient, the staff is friendly, the breakfasts are normal, the room is clean, BUT you can get to the room itself by going through the dining area, at the fire exit, there are constantly bales of laundry along the way, the elevator is either working or not, and you had to go up to the 4th floor. The view from the room is a special pleasure.

Very loud! The windows are aluminum, they let in all the sounds, as if they were open! They refuse to relocate, assuring that everything is sold for a month. There is a tram running under the windows, buzzing, beeping, the street is narrow, even the smells are all from the restaurants in the room! The windows should be normal with this arrangement! We bought Lalakhan, settled in Ilkai behind the wall, and there the level of repair is different. Thanks to Pegasus! The breakfast is normal, but there is no point in settling in Istanbul like this,!
