I addressed the issue of biting the steering wheel. They could not do this, citing the fact that this is not an electrical issue, but a mechanical one, and the steering rack needs to be removed. After spending money and time on removing and diagnosing the rack at another service station, it turned out that it was fully functional, and the question was just about electrics. It was enough to calibrate the steering wheel angle sensor.
