A great place where there are no people and it's safe to come into contact with an ancient engineering structure - a water pipe from the time of the Roman Empire. Engineers 2000 years ago, when building an aqueduct, used the method of delivering water from the upper sources through a communicating vessel.

From Kalkan by car to the Delickemer Aqueduct in 10 minutes. There are no signs, but the aqueduct is visible from the road and the navigator leads correctly. There is no parking, but there is a large tree, you can park under it. There are several paths off the road, without signs, but visible. The road to the aqueduct itself is simple, slightly uphill. A grandiose engineering structure. More precisely, a fragment of it. The masonry walls are made of huge boulders with a perfect fit of the planes, and in the upper part there are blocks, the size of 80*800*50 a hole in the center with a diameter of about 25 cm with a chiseled groove and a comb! These blocks form a closed channel for water. If you take the path to the right, facing the sea, you can see a lagoon of stunning beauty.

It was a grandiose structure, like the entire Belt of Water system it was part of. They amaze not only with their scale, but also with the high level of topographic survey of the area and the quality of engineering calculations of that time.
