I had a rest in Abkhazia in March 2025, I really liked the location of the bar, an atmospheric place with beautiful views and locations (you can sit inside in bad weather, you can enjoy the sound of the sea and the quiet wind). The menu is for every taste and the pricing policy was pleasantly pleased. Salad with crispy eggplant is a "Bomb" and really crunchy, khachapuri, and morning coffee with a view of the sea is Paradise! The staff is very attentive, the room is clean and the atmosphere is 100 bb. I highly recommend it

We've been to this place 2 times. The first time I liked everything, both the kitchen and the service. A cozy cafe on the coast. The hall is spacious, not crowded. Therefore, we decided to come again. We ordered vegetable salads, a rack of lamb and fajitas with chicken. We waited a long time for our order, although there were few people in the hall. The salads were taken out after 15 minutes, then I expected that the fajitas would be taken out. But it was never taken out after 30 minutes! My husband has already taken out a rack of lamb, the next table received their dishes, although they sat down later than us. I thought the waitress had just forgotten about the fajitas. We asked for the bill. To which the waitress said that she was ready to pay us off, but fajitas were still being prepared! To which we objected that it had already been a very long time (about 40 minutes!) that we want to give up the dish. But that the waitress started arguing with us that it was normal that the chicken dish was cooking for so long. "You also have to chop the vegetables first" for this dish ... although in fact this dish is just stewed vegetables with chicken fillet, which should be cooked for 15-20 minutes at most, but not 40! In general, we were literally forced to wait for this dish and since it was not removed from the bill, we can say we were forced to eat it! The impression was disgusting from the whole situation! I haven't felt such humiliation in a long time…

The place is beautiful and clean. The hall is clean, there are many tables, you can sit on the veranda or indoors. The staff is friendly. The dishes were served quickly, the portions were huge. You can take the food with you if you haven't finished it, they have containers to take away. The only thing they put in cocktails is a huge amount of ice, I didn't really like it. We had lunch today. The pork kebab was probably yesterday's, cold, hard, in no way freshly cooked, well, they took a little. We forgot about our kharcho (and spoons), they brought it to the saaaaa end, the kharcho itself is reddish water with boiled rice and several pieces of hard meat (did the kebab go into action?). Nothing to do with the idea at all... Only homemade adjika and a thin onion for an excellent chicken skewer turned out to be very tasty. There was a dried film on the sauce pan with pomegranate sauce (not bad, by the way)...I had to take it off.
They forgot to bring bread at all...
in general, they were upset...

We chose this place because of the terrace, the view and the presence of a hookah😅 And you didn't lose it! The young people were so attentive to our big company that they pleased everyone, and we were with the children!)) There were a lot of us!)) The prices are not small, but the service and very tasty cuisine are worth it👍🏻 The hookah was made excellent, every time a young man came up and asked how do you like it?) Cocktails are super 👍🏻 Pizza, salads, hot dishes are all at a high level👌🏻 Even the music was turned down at our request 🫶🏻 Sometimes I want to enjoy the sound of the sea and we were allowed even this whim! We have been to this restaurant for the second time and were very satisfied! The food is insanely delicious, I wanted to try everything, the menu is varied. Plus, we took into account all our wishes for orders, it is certainly pleasant! Therefore, we literally crawled out from behind the table. The staff is Russian only. Thank you very much, we will definitely come again! This is the best restaurant in Abkhazia! If it were possible to put 10 stars, I would definitely do it!

A very good restaurant in Gagra, one of the few places where I liked it. Good service, the waiters are caring and attentive. The food is on the level. I liked all the soups, salads, pizza and iced tea. I recommend this place, and a separate place is the sea view from the veranda.

Yesterday we came across this place by accident and were pleasantly surprised. Very tasty food, everything is fresh. It's cool that you can not only eat at Mahito, but also smoke a hookah. Hookah maker Elizabeth took into account all our wishes and cooked just a delicious hookah, left us extra charcoal and tongs, which allowed us to regulate the smoking process ourselves. The waiter Vladislav was friendly, consulted on the menu, and cleaned the table during the meal. My husband and I were satisfied, we will definitely come again!

Not a bad place, of all the rated places in Gagra that we were in, this is the closest to the edge of the sea - the view is excellent! Nearby there is a large swing for photo shoots like in Tae. The cuisine is mostly European, delicious, there is no national cuisine, there is local beer, the waiters are friendly. Tips are not included in the bill. Of the minuses, this is the most expensive place in Abkhazia from which we were. In Russia, it's probably not much to leave for lunch for 2 4600 rubles, but for Abkhazia, it seems to me, it's too much. Accordingly, if the price tag is not important for you, then I recommend this place. We were at the very end of October at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, there was no one else in the institution, the passability, it turns out, is not very good, while we had no problems with the gastrointestinal tract after visiting this institution.

This is the best place on the waterfront.
Clean, beautiful, the view from the terrace is gorgeous, a pleasant lounge soundtrack.
The service is excellent! Carefully, quickly, politely.
The pitch is perfect! All the dishes are beautifully cooked and served.
The kitchen is really the most delicious restaurant. We visited many places in Gagra: the barbecue is hard, then something else. We had lunch and dinner here, and children and adults are very happy.
The atmosphere is the most comfortable place on the embankment, quiet, cozy, delicious and beautiful.

Pleasant neutral music, without resort colors in the style of southern chanson. Convenient location on the border of old and new Gagra. Excellent sea views. You can pay for the order with a Russian card (this is a rarity here). The purchase category is defined as fast food. If your bank can retrain and increase the cashback to a restaurant, do it, the price tag is restaurant and the essence of the institution is the same. A clean bathroom. Not a mega-expanded menu, fits on one booklet on both sides (food / drinks).
Minuses
The quality of the dishes is not up to par. Risotto is just overcooked rice with cheese on top, the edges of the plate are decorated in the form of black dandruff. The Greek salad has too many onions and cheap "plastic" cheese. We waited a long time for the order to be accepted, although at that time there were three tables in the restaurant. The cocktail "Bartender's Choice" is indicated with a volume of 350 ml, in fact it is served in a 200 ml glass. The reason was something like this: there was a typo in the menu, we tried to make according to the recipe, but it didn't taste good and there was just a lot of ice. As a result, we also added ice from another cocktail, catching it with a spoon. Salt / pepper, napkins were served 7 minutes after one dish and salad were brought, by the way, I had to wait for the third and watch how the second guest eats.
In general, it's not terrible, but there is definitely room to grow in the service and kitchen.

The other day we visited the Mahito restaurant, ordered chicken kebab, Greek salad, pasta with cuttlefish ... we liked everything very much, and for dessert we took Tiramisu - this is generally a separate delicious story, insanely tender, melting in the mouth! Be sure to try it.

The best cafe in all of Abkhazia.
It's incredibly delicious. And the service is at the level. We rested in Abkhazia for 8 days and were shocked by the local service and attitude. Coming to this cafe, we felt like we were on vacation. I had dinner at this restaurant and felt the magic of the moment sitting in the closest place to the sea. Deciding that this was the magic of the moment, I decided to go down to the sea, not that. Pleasant relaxing music, beautiful lights, inconspicuous waiters, all in comfortable, minimalistic, but elegant tones, the noise of the sea and the distant inconspicuous bustle of the rest of the coast. Perhaps the best cafe on the coast of Gagra. There are tables with sea views. The service is good, the waiters are friendly, they answered almost all questions about the dishes, they warned about some of the original ones (cold slow with ginger and raisins), although the composition of the dishes is prescribed in the menu.
