We recommend the Maroon Tomtom Hotel. Our tour from Kazan came out cheap at the height of the season, we didn't even expect to see such a hotel. This is not the first time in Istanbul, so there is something to compare it with. The room is small and compact, but everything you need is there: a hairdryer, a kettle, slippers, soap, towels, water was supplied every day. The air conditioner was working, it was +18 in April, and warm air was sometimes turned on at night. We cleaned every day. For 6 nights, the bed linen was changed 1 time. The windows overlooked the neighboring building, but that didn't bother us. There's a museum there, no people were seen. If you turned your head, you could see Istiklal Street. Reviews everywhere say that it's noisy at night because of the nightclub. We lived on the 5th floor, it was audible, but it didn't bother us to sleep. If you sleep soundly, it won't be a problem. We had the same set of food for breakfast every day, and we had enough. Not a buffet. There is tea, coffee, and water. There is always a person at the reception. We walked past Galata Tower every day. The only thing was that it was hard to climb the hill every day. Tram, metro, ferry are all nearby. Walking along Istiklal street takes 10-15 minutes.

Everything was fine. Polite and friendly staff, neat cleaning. Nothing is missing) Convenient location, 50 meters to the main pedestrian street of the city, close to many shops, Adidas, Nike (5 floors), superstep (the largest in the country and with a huge assortment), walking distance to attractions and to the subway. Breakfast was included, on the ground floor without a choice of eggs, cheese, bread, olives, tea, butter, sugar — standard One of the features is that since it is the most pedestrian street, life here boils until 4-5 in the morning and people are walking around, listening to music, smoking hookahs) with the window open, it is definitely noisy and there is a smell. It didn't hurt, though.

Among the advantages are polite receptionists and clean bed linen. The disadvantages are the cardboard walls, you will hear any sound in the next room. The hotel is located in a very noisy place, even with the windows closed, you will hear street noise until 3 a.m. If the elevator does not work, you will have to walk down a dangerous spiral staircase. The rooms are not dusted, and everything looks very dirty because of this. Breakfast is served at the reception. The breakfast itself is always the same, a standard set of products. Therefore, only three stars.

A good hotel for your money, located in the very center of Istiklal street, 8 minutes to the metro and tram stop. Initially, they settled into a room with a non-working hairdryer, and in the morning, when a problem was identified, they easily overpowered it into another one. There is no iron! The staff is pleasant and helpful, always ready to help.
