The hotel room was ok, but really unhappy with the extra charges. They wanted to charge us 2000 dram to borrow an outlet converter when we could walk 10 min to the store and buy one for 400 dram. The food was also super bland. We tried dinner there and was not satisfied. The pizza didn't even have sauce on it. At breakfast the meat, eggs and sauted mushrooms were all cold. I would not recommend as it was not worth the cost.

General impressions: the hotel is rather 4*, there are questions about the top five.
First, let's start with the advantages: the pool, Jacuzzi and hammam are working and it is very pleasant to warm up in winter. The view from the room and the bed linen are excellent. The deluxe room has everything you need and even a small balcony. The staff is trying their best.
On the downside: breakfast is not for 5 stars. They'll make scrambled eggs. But the choice of other dishes is quite limited. For unassuming guests.
The rooms are a little tired.
We were in winter, we came for a ride - it felt like the hotel wasn't about winter holidays at all. I was surprised by the lack of a shuttle to the cable car - the distance from the hotel is more than 2 km. Of course, you can call a taxi, but at least a couple of flights a day would be very useful.
Entertainment: at the reception you need to ask about excursions, they don't just offer it. But in the end, my request that we have one day and we need to fall in love with Armenia was fulfilled exactly by organizing an excursion with soulofarmenia.com which we really liked! The wish of the reception is to offer guided tours a little more proactively, which guests may not even know about.

The hotel is in a very beautiful location, this is the main advantage. Service, staff for 4+. Breakfast is below average, coffee is not brought, champagne is not poured, the choice is small. We lived in cottage 62, the room is not small, but rather stupid.. the room with a TV and a sofa is very small and the sofa is not very comfortable.. the carpet is stained, the furniture is far from new.

My stay at the Marriott Tsakhkadzor Hotel was great. The spacious and clean rooms with stunning mountain views have created a cozy atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The food in the restaurant is excellent, especially the breakfast. The gym and spa allowed me to relax and keep fit. The convenient location of the hotel made my stay even more comfortable. I highly recommend it!

The photo does not correspond to reality. There are no palm trees and no outdoor pool.
The rooms are comfortable. The staff is polite and attentive. The lobby bar is great! The bartenders are polite. Armenian coffee is super, if with Armenian cognac, then fire!
Inside there is a luxurious swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna.

I stayed at the hotel in early February 2025. There was no luck with the snow in Tsakadzor (it fell a week after he left), but even this fact was quite insignificant, thanks to the pleasure of staying at the hotel.
1) I really liked the hotel building (it was in the main building) and its location, a 5-minute walk to the village center and shops with an exchange office, a 15-minute walk uphill to the ski area or 2 minutes by taxi (about 100 rubles).
2) The hotel staff went to meet all requests and wishes.
3) A swimming pool with a hammam and a Finnish sauna + massages perfectly helped to restore strength after long walks in Yerevan.
4) A good European breakfast.
5) A casino that you can go to without leaving the street.

For breakfast, a buffet with an excellent choice: two hot dishes + porridge, a large number of various cuts of meat, sausage, cheese, vegetables and fruits, muesli, milk, cottage cheese, etc., pastries.
The restaurant has a varied menu for lunch and dinner: salads, pastas, burgers, kebabs, grilled dishes, snacks, soups and desserts of various cuisines - Armenian, tehmeh, Asian, vegetarian. The average price of the dish is about 4000 Armenian drams.
A spacious restaurant room with honeycombs for a different number of people, there are tables outside.
Excellent staff, polite, helps to solve all issues, there were no problems when checking in and paying for accommodation, the documents were processed quickly
The rooms are well furnished and comfortable, and cleaning is carried out daily. Minor plumbing problems - the watering can in the shower and the partition leaked, the lamp did not turn on when opening the door in the wardrobe
The pool is not deep 1-1.5 m. it is designed more for children, but you can swim for adults, there are two saunas, dry and with steam, in July it was quite free.
There is a court with a concrete surface for playing tennis, the same playground for basketball + gates, they give out not bad equipment - rackets and balls. There are sun loungers without umbrellas.
The gym is stuffy, treadmills and exercise bikes are not connected to the network, there are very few visitors

The hotel is nice, but of course it's already old ... there is NO transfer to the ski area! This is the first time I've seen this in a hotel of this level. The only thing that smoothed the frustration from the hotel and the service was the gorgeous New Year's program. I'm sure there were the best performances on the New Year's program.

The gym is poorly equipped, there are no barbells and many simulators, there is only one bench and it is not stable.

There are crowds of people in the pool, even after 23 o'clock, an hour before closing, a lot of children, screams, noise, an overflowing Jacuzzi for about 20 people, and in the pool everyone is swimming at random, diagonally and zigzagging.
The door to the street is open in the hall and there is smoking outside, the smoke goes inside. An employee smokes in the toilet at the locker room.

We ate the best Napoleon in the world and enjoyed the professional food. There is a clear shortage of seafood in the seafood salad. Even if it is not on the menu, it spoils all the wonderful cuisine that my family and I enjoyed. There is another drawback for such a wonderful hotel. If you have lost or confused your mobile charger, then you will not find any support there. It would be better to purchase charging stations for mobile phones, it is practical and inexpensive.

We don't want to come back here anymore.
They always don't report something. Toilet paper, shampoo, even water... constantly had to ask for everything. It's the same thing for breakfast every day. There are no lunches and dinners at the hotel, we ordered food from the restaurant, which, by the way, is the only one on the territory! And there is VERY LITTLE choice there.
There also seems to be a lack of light in the hotel. There is no chandelier at all in the standard room without a view, some strange light bulbs, but it is very dark, like in a dungeon. There is only one pool on the territory, there is not a single window in the pool ... in general, there is a clear feeling that you are constantly in a dungeon.
The staff is polite, they try, but what you don't ask, they don't know anything, even to the banal simple - is there a toilet on the first floor so that they don't go up to the room.
The rooms were cleaned every day, but very mediocre. In 10 days, the toilet, shower and sink have never been washed.
The staff at the restaurant barely understands Russian. There were always some mistakes: I ask for scrambled eggs -they make an omelet.
There are no entertainments in the hotel, such as aqua aerobics, yoga, etc., nothing at all. From the mobile one, you can play table tennis and lawn tennis (the court is broken down by the way) and a gym. No one is on duty at the pool.
By the way, the stuffiness in the gym is unbearable.
There are no benches on the street, there is nowhere to sit, only on the terrace in the restaurant.
There is nowhere to sunbathe in summer.
There are abandoned buildings on the territory of the hotel that are not fenced in any way....
The hotel does not pull in 5 stars.
Our advice is that if you go, then only for weekends in winter, there is NOTHING to do here in summer.

Conveniently located for skiing. Comfortable and large rooms - we were upgraded to a gigantic three-room suite. Excellent beds in the rooms.
Helpful staff - they always try to help.
A decent-sized swimming pool, with a large Jacuzzi. There is a hammam and a sauna.
Breakfast is really weak for 5, but everything is basic and even changes from day to day.
The Internet works strangely - it is constantly lost, but it may depend on the location of our room.
Nearby there is the Kecharis monastery, many restaurants, and a casino in the hotel itself.

I was with my family in February. The impressions are ambivalent. There are no complaints about the food, but there are complaints about the service.

There is no shoe spoon in the room. Inconvenient. I called the reception with a request to bring it, but I was told that there were no branded spoons, and there was no way to buy branded ones, because sanctions))
However, after half an hour, the local caretaker brought me a tiny spoon with the Marriott logo, saying that he had rummaged through everything and this was the last one) The caretaker is well done. The manager needs to solve this problem somehow.
The room is dark even with the lights on, as there are no lamps on the ceiling. Not at all. Only on the wall + floor lamp.
Well, it blows from the window specifically, which is not critical, but a person with a powerful immunity can sit at a table by a floor lamp with his back to the window.
Otherwise, everything is fine. The pool, the Jacuzzi is huge, a great bed, good bed linen (rustling, though, infection).

Very cool place. I was invited to my nephew's anniversary. Delighted. The food is---just beautiful. Believe me, I can cook, and eat, and have been to restaurants. The salads were simply extraordinary. Service and decoration as in a decent banquet hall. There is a bar and an outdoor veranda. We sat there and drank cocktails. I recommend.

Everything around marriott is depressing, and the question is: is a construction site developing here or is everything dying, but someone decided to build something on the ruins. The hotel is beautiful, like the entire Marriott chain. Tsakhkadzor is some kind of village in the hills, perhaps in the season something else is there (outside the hotel) but in May, it's gloomy, ruins, construction sites. The hotel - everything is gorgeous, service, attitude.

We have been to the Marriott pool several times. Overall, the pool is good, everything is clean. There were armbands for children, if suddenly the child cannot swim. But I was uncomfortable there! The pool is located in a completely enclosed area. There was no natural light. It feels like you're suffocating there. As it is, it's generally not bad. In Tsakhkadzor, I think this is the best hotel and a swimming pool too.

In February, we stayed at this hotel for 23 years. I am writing the review exclusively as a tourist who came to ski at a local ski resort.
Meal:
Breakfast is a standard European breakfast: omelette, bacon, sausages, coffee, croissants, fruits, juices. It's not bad at all! Energizes you for skiing. I recommend taking the rest of the meals in local restaurants, of which there are many and in each you will feel the flavor of the local cuisine, moreover, it is not expensive.
Service and staff :
Everything is on the level. Everyone is friendly. Overall, it feels like a very good European hotel. The beds are comfortable enough that you wake up young and cheerful without back or neck pain.
Spa:
Modest and to the point: swimming pool + sauna + hammam. A great set to come from the slope (and there is a very cold wind!) to warm up and come to your senses.
A separate plus is Wi-Fi in the rooms without passwords and restrictions. The speed is normal for movies and YouTube.
The hotel also has a ski/board storage and a shuttle service to the slope. I also saw room service, but I didn't use it myself)

The staff is wonderful. Very responsive. Beautiful SPA area and swimming pool. Room cleaning is good, but you have to ask for small things: they forget to leave the pasta, tea spoons, etc.
The hotel itself is already in need of repair, the fittings are self-falling, it is very draughty from under the door in the cottages. I want to say separately about the kitchen for breakfast: it's just terrible! It is very poor and not tasty. For those who follow KBZHU, there is nothing to eat. There is not a single national dish, the choice of dishes is very limited. Very hard-boiled eggs, sausages, porridge with milk, powdered omelette and that's it. There are no fish at all. It doesn't look like five stars at all. But there are simply no other options for living yet.
