A beautiful windmill. The mill was built of red brick on the bank of an artificial moat connecting Orshitsa with the Dnieper River in 1902 in the neo-Gothic style with elements of pseudo-Russian style. At the same time, a single-span arch bridge was built across the moat. For a long time it was used as a warehouse, and in 1992 it was transferred to the Department of culture. Since then, an ethnographic museum has been located here. In its exposition, you can get acquainted with the household culture of the inhabitants of the region, handicrafts. This is one of the most important places in Orsha that is worth a visit.

The best museum dedicated to the history of crafts up to the 19th century that I have come across. In the small space of two floors, it is very compact and at the same time all crafts are fully represented. The 40-minute tour is very exciting and everything is clear in the express mode.
