The interior has also been restored, there are few exhibits of their own, they are trying to restore and redeem the found objects that once belonged to the owners of the castle. A lot still depends on the guide, ours was very enthusiastic himself, but he couldn't get us carried away (there is too much haphazard information, the thread of the narrative is quickly lost).

If the physical form allows, then you can't find a better lock. You can climb into each tower, climb the walls. It's cool, but of course not for everyone. The museum exposition and interior interiors are nothing special, on 3 out of 5. But I liked the castle as a whole more than Nesvizh. Because I prefer physical interactive to a museum exhibit;)

We were there in July 2024. Entrance is paid, but inexpensive, about 600 Russian (17 Belarusian) rubles, if you take everything. It can be cheaper to take it, but there the program will not include some of the places where you can go. TAKE EVERYTHING!
The tour takes place independently, in the towers themselves you can walk along narrow passages in the walls. You will see the weapons and get into the spirit of that time. The castle is beautiful, but its staff and administration are minus 100 stars. If you are going to visit it, just take a walk around or in the courtyard, there is no point in taking tickets for excursions, spoil your mood. The ascents to the towers are not controlled by employees in any way, people go back and forth themselves, create traffic jams, if you go up to the tower, you can go down when the flow of ascenders ends, and since no one controls them at the bottom, it can take a long time.... Then the museum, we did not get into it, to get there we need to remove outerwear, and in order to put it in the wardrobe, you have to stand in a giant queue. When I asked the staff of this complex to solve this problem, they replied: "we already have two cloakroom staff, what can we do?"
It's definitely worth visiting this place, the photos will be great, there's nothing to see inside, it's better to buy a souvenir.

Mir Castle is a business card of Belarus. The structure is simply monumental! If you want to visit for the first time or have not been for a long time, then be sure to use the services of a guide, since you can join groups right on the spot. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes, because when inspecting the towers you will have to climb and descend stairs with very steep steps. Do not be lazy and take a walk to the village itself, there is also something to see. We definitely recommend it!

On weekends, there is a "traffic jam" and a queue to climb the towers, although there is objectively nothing to look at (in the towers), it is better to go to the hall right away. There are staged fights inside the castle. I recommend going for a walk on the weekend.

Quite an interesting location. Walking around the towers is a separate quest and strength training, because the steps are narrow and very high.

Hello, I liked everything, the castle was restored, everything was done so that people would come and watch. Description of all exhibits in Belarusian and English. Russian speakers mostly come to you, but there is not a single description in Russian. A separate story about the museum staff, I can say that I have not seen such rudeness since the Soviet era. I was a witness, I did not participate myself. A woman approached a museum employee and asked where she should go next, a seemingly banal question, you can usually answer or show with your hand which way to go. But the castle employee is not a fool, it is unlikely that you will feel the intonation of the voice with which you answered, but I will try to convey it. Don't you see this sign, it's all in front of your eyes. The woman replied, no, she did not see it. We need to look better, an ordinary museum employee replied. What happens in the mind is not clear. These are the people who don't even touch you, spoil the positive effect of visiting establishments. And I was in a good mood, and it remained good, but the impression was spoiled.

Mir Castle Complex is one of the most impressive architectural landmarks of the XIV century, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is located in the village of Mir in the Grodno region of Belarus. I definitely recommend visiting, but we were all a little upset about the prison. We thought that this would be the most interesting and left it for last, but it turned out to be a waste of time, nothing interesting, only wooden pads and shackles, we went down longer than we inspected the premises. But in general, the impressions of the visit are very good, the castle is beautifully restored, everything is clean and tidy. This castle is definitely worth a visit. The tour is gorgeous. You need to be prepared for long walks through the halls and narrow stairs. It has been more than a week since we returned from a trip to Belarus. And I'm still under a pleasant impression. We were in a car, we found the castle complex quickly, and the navigator led us to the right place. There were also no problems with parking. The castle itself is gorgeous, the tour is informative and interesting. The staff are competent and polite. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The only problem with Wi-Fi. The only way to get a signal to set up the navigator was at a local hotel. The castle is interesting for both adults and children. We got in well and saw a theatrical performance of warriors in the courtyard. We went to the tomb church of the princes of the World. We took a walk in the park. We admired the pond. We took beautiful photos. We took an independent tour of the castle walls (very high and steep ascents, my husband climbed to the topmost tier without me, but the views from the top are very beautiful!) and a guided tour of the exhibits inside the castle. They paid with the MIR card everywhere. Students get a discount. Our family really liked it. If possible, I don't mind coming back again.

An impressive castle, a lot of expositions and exhibits, everything is very visual and interactive. Nearby there is a huge parking lot, stalls with souvenirs and all sorts of stuff, a good cafe with excellent cuisine. Just above, in the city center, there are many different cafes, there is a bank and a pharmacy, I also recommend visiting a church and an Orthodox church, everything is clean and cozy.

A magnificent place, mesmerizing with its beauty. Fans of the age of knights definitely need to come here! We planned to stop by for a couple of hours, but after passing through the arch of the gate and seeing this huge square paved with massive stones, thick ancient walls and towers towering above them, it was as if we were transported back in time. From the far corner of the square, ancient Celtic-like music could be heard, which intensified the already vivid emotions to goosebumps. The smiles of admiration did not leave our faces. We wandered there all day until we visited every corner of this fascinating place. Separately, I would like to say about the steep stairs with high steps located in the walls of the castle. Climbing them is both an adventure and at the same time a test of physical fitness. How did they do it with weapons and armor? This is the question that arises when you go up.
There are a huge number of exhibits in the castle, which, to our surprise, are allowed to be photographed (for free). A lot of knight's armor, swords and other weapons. But besides that, there is something to see. Namely: magnificent, majestic architecture, fascinating views, both inside and outside the castle, a park, a pond with ducks next to it. There is a tomb behind the castle, which is also worth a visit. There is a beautiful antique-style restaurant in the basement of the castle and appropriate music is playing. It was delicious! For prices: if not often, then you can 😊 Moderate! The area around is well maintained, and the views are just awesome! The car was parked across the street in a huge parking lot. I definitely advise everyone to visit! 😊👍

We are thrilled to visit this castle. A very colorful and historical place! Be prepared for the fact that the whole castle consists of very steep, brick and dark stairs, we traveled with the baby and the poet, we were asked to leave the stroller on the street in front of the entrance (it is not being monitored, so we took it to the car). It took us about 2 hours to visit the dam with climbing these stairs (we ourselves, without a tour). At one point, the legs already refused to climb, very steep stairs. We also went down to the prison, at one point such a staircase led to the castle's own church, in general, it is unusual, but once again I would not like to go through this. We wanted to have lunch at the restaurant at the castle, but the waiters informed us that the food was waiting for 1 hour and we decided to eat somewhere else.

We have been planning to visit Mirsky for a long time and now we have reached it. The castle itself, the surrounding area and the interior decoration are impressive. We arrived in the evening when visiting time was over. But since we booked a hotel, we were able to enjoy the beauty and views of the castle by ourselves, without outsiders. The interior of the rooms in the hotel is matched to the style of the castle. In the morning we enjoyed a walk around the territory and around the pond. The very first ones went on excursions. There are few visitors in the morning. What disappointed me was the restaurant inside in the basement- the Prince's Yard. We were at about 19.00, when there was practically no one, the waiters showed with all their appearance that they were not welcome to guests from a neighboring state. The restaurant turned out to be very overpriced for such a place. The dishes are cooked strangely - the tongue with bechamel sauce is a rare nightmare, bechamel by the way (very tasteless) they add to every second dish, the steamed fish turned out to be over-dried while it was being cooked (it takes 30-40 minutes for the water to boil according to the waitress Alina🙄), they did not carry other hot dishes when they served everything together, the rest of the food was already cold. The service deserves special attention / the waitress Alina showed her disdain with all her appearance. A very unpleasant girl. In short, I do not recommend the restaurant to visit, I took off a star for it. Despite the fact that there is a very nice place across the street where you can eat delicious and much cheaper food.

Everything is well-maintained, beautiful, and sterile. Don't go there, don't go here. The prices in the souvenir shop are horse. And there is no program in the castle itself. The tour is boring.
