A wonderful restaurant! It is located a little lower, towards the sea, from the main tourist street, there are no crowds of tourists here. Very pleasant and polite staff, we were charmed by the girl, she switched to Russian without any problems after learning that we are from Russia. She advised on ordering dishes and even remembered some preferences (it was very nice when we returned for the second time that she remembered some of the features of the previous order). The guys are great, everyone is trying, they serve quickly. The cuisine is super, it is very good that there is a choice of both traditional Turkish dishes and something familiar from European cuisine. While you are waiting for the order, you will definitely receive a set of snacks as a compliment. Cozy and modern interior. Of all the cafes and restaurants I visited during my vacation, I liked Mivan the most.

We went in with friends based on reviews and did not regret it - a quiet, cozy place with polite staff. The waiter Beck (very attentive, always friendly) is one of the kitchen staff who speak Russian, very responsive. The dishes are prepared quickly enough, while you are waiting, they bring a freshly baked flatbread and snacks as a complement. From the menu we tried salads with grilled chicken, salad with salmon, chicken kebab, chicken fillet with mushrooms, lentil soup, fish soup and desserts with cheese and buttercream (served with ice cream), Turkish tea, coffee and apple tea (it smells like hot apple juice) I liked everything, we came for 6 days in a row.
The only thing that upset me was that in Istanbul you can smoke in restaurants, and instead of the delicious aromas of spices or tea, you breathe cigarette smoke. During all the days of the visit, this happened three times for 10 minutes, but this is a general problem, not a specific restaurant.
P.S. you need to be careful with pepper in dishes, it is not Bulgarian, but sharp and burning 🔥
In general, this is a very cozy restaurant, the main decoration of which is the wonderful staff 😊

The restaurant is modern and stylish. The staff is very friendly and can help with the selection of dishes. The portions of food are very large. We took shrimp with mushrooms, chicken kebab, dessert, fresh orange juice, cola.
They also brought us a bread plate and 3 sauces as a compliment (but as an exception, they brought us an additional 4 sauces) and more apple tea. Everything was quickly prepared. The service is very good. The drinks are great too.

After 3 trips to Istanbul, we consistently visit Mivan - not cheap for a daily visit with a long stay, but the place is super to indulge.
I really liked Dana Lokum, a really delicious kind of Turkish steak.
The owner has a good apartment hotel in the same house, once in Istanbul we stayed in it by chance, and found this place.
I advise everyone in Fatih.

Bread and snacks, Turkish tea are brought as a compliment.
We had dinner with my husband on the first day upon arrival, we were lucky - there was a free table! There are always visitors in the cafe and most importantly there are no touts! 😁
After that, we came here more than once to eat for lunch and dinner! I recommend it!

After good Moscow restaurants, there are few places where you get pleasure, they pleased you here. It took about 20 minutes on foot from the hotel, but it was worth it.
As a complement, snacks were brought, tea was also offered as a bonus, but it did not fit into us)
There were no unnecessary entries in the bill, which is also very nice, especially after the restaurants in the Sultanahmet area

An incredibly stylish place with insanely delicious food and friendly service!We were looking for more places in Istanbul, but we didn't find any better, we returned here 2 times for breakfast and dinner!Everything is insanely delicious, large portions, compliments from the institution in the form of Turkish tea (you won't find this in Istanbul, tea costs 50 lira in many places!). We recommend a cafe, cozy, friendly, the price tag is adequate if without frills. You can keep within 1000 lire for two and not stay hungry.

The best place we've been.
After accepting the order, they bring a compliment from the restaurant: a bread basket and 3 snacks.
The portions are bigger, hearty and very tasty.

The staff is very friendly. On the first day, the payment was accepted in dollars, and the change was given in lira, clearly according to the rates. The only place where they have never tried to deceive us.

A wonderful small restaurant with excellent cuisine and a cozy homely atmosphere. Everything is very tasty, affordable prices, large portions, beautiful serving, especially Testi Kebab. In the evenings, the charming owners of the restaurant are in the hall. It was my first time in Turkey and I was worried that the dishes would be too spicy for me, but with the kind help of the waitress Nani, who speaks excellent Russian, and helped us make a choice..all my wishes have been taken into account. So choosing this restaurant, you can be sure that you will get a real pleasure.

Excellent restaurant in the historical center of Fatiha district. The service is at a high level. The portions are huge, well-prepared, the waiters try their best, bring everything promptly. There are no touts at the exit who are trying to drag you by the hands to their place. People come by themselves. There is always a component system in the form of three different snacks each time. Probably, by the standards of Istanbul, it is a restaurant. The atmosphere here is nicer, cleaner, neater and more stylish than in the neighboring "eateries". The price, respectively, is also higher.
On average, a hot dish costs 500-600 liras (April 2024). You can eat one portion even for a man. But the taste is subjective: we didn't like it. Everything was a little too salty. We wouldn't go a second time. We also took a burger (to the one in the photo), it also turned out to be so-so.

The kitchen is at a height, the serving is 5+, very satisfying, delicious, beautiful and very budget-friendly, lunch for 2 people with kebab, hummus was taken for an appetizer, it cost 700 rubles, + snacks that go with the dish. My husband is delighted, he dragged me 1.5 km every day to have lunch here. The only caveat is that there is no alcohol on the menu, take this into account. Otherwise, it's just great!!!

We came to the restaurant based on reviews. Pleasant atmosphere, good menu, average prices (the receipt does not include tips, October 2023). According to the service - which shift will you get to, we came to dinner 3 times, it was different ;) the first time the meat in the burger was raw, the dish was replaced, not included in the bill. The second time they mixed up the soup, they had to wait for the one they ordered to be cooked, as a result they made a discount; the third time everything went fine)) In general, they try very hard to make guests feel comfortable. The names in the menu are duplicated in Russian, there are Russian-speaking staff. Delicious food.

The best rest in the old city of Istanbul! We took breakfast and dinner twice, because everything in the area is much worse and more expensive than in this place.

There are excellent Russian speakers among the staff. Overall, a very attentive and warm welcome.
