We visited this monastery in August 2024. A place of grace. One of the interesting features of the monastery: during the time of Abbess Vasilisa (+ 05.01.2017), she started an unusual tradition: on Sundays and holidays, invite all the pilgrims who attended the Liturgy on that day to a meal. And this tradition is still alive, despite the fact that Abbess Vasilisa died more than 7 years ago. Here is an example of the pilgrimage that the Apostle Paul wrote about in his epistles!
And from the category of believe it or not. A few months before visiting the monastery, my back began to hurt, and every week it got worse, so I already thought I would have to go to the hospital. So after visiting the monastery, my back stopped hurting, although I didn't even think about such a turn of events!

A salted place. Here you want to breathe in grace and fresh coniferous air! In summer, everything is drowned in flowers brought from different parts of our country and not only. We have been here more than once, but every time I wanted to come back here again and again!

I was very impressed by this holy place.
The nuns work tirelessly there, creating beauty and comfort for us. They pray for us all four times a day.
God save me for everything!!! Only the death of Abbess Vasilisa is very sad. For her goodness and the depth of her soul, she paid with her life. I grieve and I'm sorry

St. Xenia Monastery has happened an incident or a miracle! As you wish. At the entrance to the church, people write notes about the funeral service, etc., there is a vestibule to the left of the entrance where pens and papers are on the windowsill on which names are written, also in this vestibule there is a staircase to the bottom, very steep made of marble or granite (it does not matter), so before my eyes a woman stepped over and flew from this ladder head over heels, by the way, there are 4-5 meters probably, I run after this woman to the bottom, lift her up, and she gets up and not a scratch!!! She ran up the stairs, crossed herself and continued to do her job with a smile! I mean, there is a God in the world, I put a pillow for this woman. Believe it or not.
