The quality of cinema hall is not meeting the modern standards BUT it has a very unique place in Yerevan’s heart! I enjoy going there during film festivals like “Golden Apricot”. Also, amazing spot for local movie premieres, red carpets and stuff like that. There was time when Moscow cinema had no competitors, but Im glad it has now I hope this building always stays here and its function doesn’t change.

One of the oldest cinema houses in Yerevan. Great sound and picture quality. Would recommend getting the VIP section.

! The Moscow cinema is one of the diamonds of Yerevan, the atmosphere in the theater is fantastic, there is always a lot of hype outside the theater in any weather!
I would like to see the renovated open-air SUMMER cinema! I remember with nostalgia the excitement of getting to the cinema in the summer hall. There are few cinemas in the world that could boast of a summer cinema. We went to see the movie Monsieur Anznavour, the picture and sound are great.In a word , there are no disadvantages , there are wishes to update the chairs and to smile at the staff , to try to match the status of the theater .

The hotel of the same name is located on the ground floor of the Moscow cinema. Very small for several rooms. The room is small, but everything is clean, there is a shower and toilet, a kettle, a small refrigerator, tea, coffee and a bottle of water for one guest. The location of the hotel is excellent, in the city center, within walking distance of a lot of attractions and the main square of Yerevan - Republic Square. There is a beautiful fountain in front of the Moscow cinema, next to the theater, in general, everything pleases the eye. Of the cons: the unfortunate location of the room, next to some pipes that were noisy until half the night. The room is stuffy, you open the window - it is impossible to sleep noisily, you close the window stuffily. Maybe you can't hear it in other rooms, but we were unlucky. This is a big inconvenience for me. I take off one star for this.Still, I want to rest relatively calmly.

Pleasant atmosphere, there are several cafes on the ground floor. The interiors are not flashy , pleasant to the eye, there are more than 5 halls, there was a big red one, the sound and picture are excellent. The chairs are comfortable .

Recently, this cool movie theater has been online, there is even a VIP room, ordinary tickets are sitting at the bottom, and comfortable sofas are sitting at the top, and the sofas are so cool that you can stretch your legs completely. Very friendly staff I love everyone

This is a wonderful place with one nuance - under the main (classroom) cinema hall there is a nightclub with very loud speakers.
Simply put, if you go to an evening session, then it is very likely that the session will be spoiled by shaking chairs and music from this nightclub (Literally interrupts the sound of the movie and the floor is shaking).
The administration of the cinema does not react to this fact and comments in any way.
I would love to go to this cinema, to this hall, but I won't until they solve this problem. And I advise you to put pressure on solving this problem.
Go to the blue room, it's good there.

This is the second time we have come to Yerevan, because we decided to explore Armenia in summer and winter. We really liked the cinema "Moscow". There we were greeted by friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and pleasant prices for world premieres in Russian dubbed translation. The convenient location facilitates walking around the city center.
Separately, I would like to mention the Moscow Hotel, which is located on the first floor of this building. And especially thank the receptionist for her attention and helpful advice.
Traveling through Armenia, we noted that this hospitable country is rich not only in beautiful nature, historical sites and delicious food. The most important treasure of this friendly country is people! We did not encounter any negativity on a single centimeter of the entire perimeter of this small state. On the contrary, everyone, from the cashier at the supermarket or the customer standing in line behind us, to the local resident sitting next to us on the bench, were sociable and friendly!

A beautiful building, friendly staff, as for the cinema itself, there are very significant disadvantages.
The 1st and most important disadvantage is the chairs, the upper part is swollen and the lumbar, on the contrary, is located deeper, all the pleasure of watching the movie was lost due to back pain due to the terrible chairs.
The 2nd minus is the sound quality, there was no atmospheric and surround sound, it felt like the front speakers were working and that's it.
I'm unlikely to visit this cinema again.

A good cinema , the ticket price is not high on a weekend of 2000 drams, the quality of the film is good, there are many films in Russian . The atmosphere is decent - certainly not a super modern cinema, but everything is in style. There is a Snack bar .No caramel popcorn. I recommend.

It is a pity that the art show chose this particular cinema for its location. The cinema itself was not bad, but the seats were changed there, and unfortunately these seats were designed by someone who is not related to the person. It is impossible to sit on them from the word at all, they barely survived the session, I wanted to sit on the floor.
Also, the female ushers were swearing very loudly outside the door, in general, it's a pity.

I come here only because the classics of cinema are shown here, but this is not the merit of the cinema, but rather of the organizers of the project. Another advantage is the convenient location, well, the picture and sound are decent here, Otherwise there is a slightly outdated hall, imported popcorn (it is not prepared on site). And somewhere in the building there is a club, music from which is regularly listened to during movie screenings.

Pros: the cinema is in the center, there is a large space between the rows in the halls – you can stretch your legs. Cons: stuffy halls, uncomfortable chairs, no coasters for drinks and popcorn, not very good sound quality, the light does not turn off completely during the session.

I went to see Napoleon. The picture is dim, the sound is quiet only from the side of the screen and there is little bass. Because of this, you could hear everything that people were doing in the hall.
During the session, there was a beep of some kind of alarm, which was randomly turned on.
Well, plus, loud scenes were heard in another hall, so there is no question of diving into the cinema
The toilet is difficult to find, the men's room leaves much to be desired. There is a smell, and the doors do not close

The screens in the halls are too small for such a number of rows, the air conditioner was not working in the blue hall (the day before everything was fine in the red one). The seats are dirty and uncomfortable, if the movie goes on for more than 2 hours, the back will definitely make itself felt, the toilets are small, there is a crowd after the movie, in general, I do not recommend visiting if there is an alternative.
