The staff is very rude especially the security guards who are rude with kids. Ticket seemed overpriced as well. Wouldn't recommend

A wonderful museum that is both hindered and helped by dependence on the state. It helps because patronage makes it possible to purchase paintings by local artists. And there are just great jobs. It gets in the way because the rules and interactions with visitors are on the edge of Kafkaesque soullessness.
Art lovers who smoke, if they go outside to smoke and come back, they pay for each visit separately. So my friend paid 15 manats instead of five, despite the fact that the museum is half empty, except for the guards.
Ban on pens. It's better not to have them at all. We agreed that you can take notes in the library. This is not very convenient for me personally. I used to sit in the Hermitage and take notes.
The lack of a cafe. If you walk for a long time, it is difficult to take a break for reflection. The art space is dense and I want to take a breath. But the cafe never works, and the street costs 5 manats :) apparently there are so few visitors that the cafe is not profitable. But maybe you should think about why it's not enough? Erarta in St. Petersburg is full from morning to 23.00.

The Baku Museum of Modern Art is a great place for all art lovers. Located in a deconstructivist interior, the museum is a bold and unique solution.
Firstly, it is worth noting that the museum is small, but extremely full of exhibits that reflect the work of local artists and sculptors. A ticket to visit the museum costs 10 manats.
On the ground floor of the museum there are works by local authors made in various techniques and genres. Here you can see paintings, sculptures, installations and much more. It is especially worth paying attention to the works in the field of digital art, which are very relevant and interesting.
However, the main highlight of the museum is on the second floor. The works of such world-famous masters as Picasso and Dali are presented here.
In general, the Baku Museum of Modern Art is a great place for those who want to get acquainted with the art and creativity of contemporary artists.
