A great museum. There are so many expositions here...It's super. A good place for conducting excursions for schoolchildren and children. The guides give an overview of the history of this or that exhibit. I would recommend everyone to visit this museum. After all, there is not only art here, but applied art, where it seems to me that every work has a soul, emotions, and joy attached to it....in short, the whole inner world of the master👍👍👍

The museum is small, the exposition is interesting, it is beautiful inside and in the courtyard. The exhibits have signs in several languages, you can understand everything. It's worth a visit.
The staff smeared the impression of the visit – they bought a ticket at the entrance, asked to show the ticket again in one of the halls, and counted the QR code. At first we thought that they needed internal reporting. But then they found out that they were the ones who "took" the cashback from the check, which the locals could return. It is ugly and unfair to do this in silence. Ask, foreigners will give it to you anyway if they don't need it. And we couldn't use it anymore. It's not about the money, there's not much, but you don't have to do it on the sly.
If you are a resident and use a cashback refund, keep this in mind.

The museum is included in the list of monuments of cultural heritage of Uzbekistan (it is also known as the Polovtsev house). In addition to the fascinating history of this house, you can still have time to admire the oriental architecture and architecture created by order of a Russian diplomat. To get acquainted with the museum's Fund and visit souvenir and antique shops there, as well as a secret coffee shop. Thanks to the progressive leader and friends of the museum, unique events, exhibitions and beautiful holidays are held on its territory. There is a program of master classes. It should have long been a place of attraction not only for tourists and photographers, but also for residents of the capital.

A pleasant place, but the exhibits are simple, without a twist. It was possible to put an imitation of a dwelling, a koravan, in the courtyard. Arrange the halls so that it is clear how the furniture and dishes were used.
The good attitude of the staff, cleanliness did not allow us to put less than 4 stars.

A museum of different things.
The first part presents various woven products, then musical instruments and reconstruction of the Uzbek family's room. There is also a separate toilet.
In the second part there is a large hall with a unique design. Various crafts, decorations, antique wooden furniture, tapestries with gold threads are further presented in different rooms.
We also managed to visit the museum nights and see an interesting prepared show, as well as watch compositions in the dark, but with directional soft lighting. Other emotions and feelings,
Entrance is paid, $ 2. It is located in the center, 10 minutes from the metro, there are no bus stops nearby.

The entrance ticket cost quite a bit, but the exposition was one hundred percent. You don't even have to take the tour, just scan the barcode and enjoy the free audio accompaniment, but with the tour everything becomes even more colorful.

You can walk around the museum in 10 minutes without looking too closely at the exhibits, BUT it's worth taking time to the national craft of our culture — so gorgeous and fascinating works that it takes your breath away from the level of skill you see. Nearby there is a shop with a large assortment of national jewelry, accessories, etc., and the outgoing smell of coffee is just something — it is impossible to pass by

Taking into account the realities of today (and tomorrow ...), "It is mandatory to visit with family for educational purposes and to instill patriotism in children and adults."
Briefly about the main thing for businessmen who are guided by the wind to the East:
"A compact museum, the exposition of which included incredible samples of embroidery, carpet weaving and wood cutting"!
And there is a lot of wood in Mother Russia ...
The main thing is short for Rousseau tourist morale:
"There is a shop nearby with a large assortment of national jewelry, accessories, etc., and the outgoing smell of coffee is just something - it is impossible to pass by"!

A gorgeous and beautiful museum. A must-visit. There are a lot of beautiful old and modern exhibitions. There are several halls inside: with carpets, paintings, dishes, etc. There is a shop where you can buy handmade products. There's a decent bathroom inside. You can take an audio guide. The entrance is like 4000 soums, but we came on June 1 with the children and the entrance was free. The location is very convenient close to other attractions. It works from 9 to 18.00. You can't touch anything with your hands, the museum staff strictly monitors this. Both the children and I were delighted with the beauty of the museum

A gorgeous museum, we are very glad that we were able to visit it. There are many exhibits and fabrics, and carpets, and dishes, and jewelry, and wooden products, and embossing, and paintings, and musical instruments. The entrances to the building (there are several of them) are decorated with masonry and paintings. There is an audio guide (codes for the barrier), there is an individual tour guide. The entrance fee is symbolic. The museum has split systems and clean toilets. You can sit in the yard under an old oak tree and take a breath.
I recommend to all the cities of the city to visit this museum.

A unique shop in the courtyard, stunning color-saturated halls, exhibits, brickwork, ganch carvings, carved columns and, of course, a rich history. We went because of the reviews.
The museum is wonderful, exhibits of restored applied art.
There is a courtyard of the soul inside .
But it is not possible to get acquainted yourself, there are no inscriptions, QR code goes to the site with broken images and without signatures, too.
The audio guide tells a lot, but since there are no inscriptions and the exhibits are mixed up, it is not at all clear what the story is about. We have to solve puzzles and as a result, the audio guide is even worse.
The only option is to take an excursion.
