We found all the money in the world in one place! Only there were no "katanovkas" there.😅 Here are banknotes and coins from all over the world. But the main thing is that Vitaly is an awesome tour guide here. We happened to go on an excursion with a group of children from St. Petersburg. How cool the guide told and showed. Starting with the very first money, gold guilders and Russian Katekas. He told me why they started calling money money. It was very cool to listen and learn about the "Belarusian bunnies", these are old rubles, where a bunny was painted on the most popular banknote. Other animals that live in Belarus were painted on the rest of the bills. The artist was drawing animals from an old encyclopedia. Opening the "bear" tab, he redrawn the grizzly bill. No one noticed the mistake, so they typed it. Now the Republic of Belarus has very beautiful banknotes, very similar to the euro. Their printing was ordered in Britain. Vitaliy also pays for a subscription to the museum's YouTube channel. For example, we received 5 pfennigs from Germany and 10 cents from Lithuania! Young residents of St. Petersburg also earned different old coins.

A wonderful private museum, a curious collection. The guide's story is especially impressive: with humor, examples and different stories. Definitely, anyone who will be in Minsk, I recommend visiting this museum and listening to the history of money.

Private collection, museum. The room consists of two rooms in fact. Although the collection of banknotes is large and impressive, but 20 rubles for admission is a bit much. Just come to see if there's any kind of tour or description missing. I also didn't like the location of some of the banknotes, which are located very high, as well as the light against you, I couldn't see them. There is an opportunity to look through the banknotes, but they have no value, the condition is poor, the price is 10 times too high. You can also purchase NBRB coins with a 2-fold increase when they are still available in the bank itself. But the collection is really worthwhile, requiring a lot of effort, time and finances.

A gorgeous museum, a great guide! I highly recommend bonists and numismatists to visit. Near the embankment. The largest collections of banknotes that I have seen! I was presented with a coin, I was very pleased! Definitely welcome to visit!

It's a very cool museum, very interesting! The children were interested. After the tour, Ksenia, the tour guide, did a mini-quest for the children. Thanks to the collector for such a cool place in Minsk! Your employees are smart

The Groshi Museum is my favorite museum in Minsk. The exhibition presents coins and banknotes that were used in the Belarusian lands from ancient times to the present. These are Roman coins, Arab dirhams, and coins of European states of the Middle Ages. Coins of Poland, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Russian Empire, Austria, Prussia, the Ukrainian state, Poland, the Soviet Union, and the monetary units of modern Belarus. Also coins of neighboring countries. The second part of the exhibition is represented by monetary units from different countries of the world. Nice staff, you can book a guided tour. I recommend it, it's very interesting!!!

A great museum! Real exhibits, an interesting (very) exposition. The stand with banknotes from the times of hyperinflation is particularly interesting. Using the example of this stand, you can even tell a child what hyperinflation is and he will understand! I definitely recommend it!

A wonderful museum, a huge collection of banknotes, coins, and securities from different countries. I really enjoyed the tour, unfortunately, I did not remember the name of the guide, who told me about the history of money in an interesting way. Some of the facts were surprising. I didn't think I'd spend more than an hour in the museum. I highly recommend visiting.

An unexpectedly impressive museum of money. To be honest, we didn't even plan to go there, we noticed it by accident and were skeptical at first. But once inside, we realized that an interesting experience awaits us. There are really a lot of bills and coins there. Although the museum consists of only 2 small rooms, the walls are covered from floor to ceiling with banknotes (according to the museum, only real ones). You can look at it for hours.

I really liked the museum, I had never seen such an exhibition before. The staff is friendly and competent. We didn't buy the tour, but we heard the guide's story for another group. It is very interesting and informative. The museum is small, but if you look at everything in detail, it will take at least an hour. It is located in the city center, very close to the Nemiga metro station. It is open seven days a week, including on Mondays, when many other museums are closed.

It's a small museum, but the collection is very decent. First of all, the money of Belarus and the states that were on its modern lands. Through banknotes and coins, you can find out the whole story. Mikhail had a wonderful tour, we spent more than an hour in a small room. I highly recommend using the services of a guide, you will be pleasantly surprised.

A small museum in the center of Minsk, a private collection of banknotes from all over the world, a little less coins, but they are there. The second hall is dedicated to the coins of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Russian Empire, etc. As a numismatist, it was interesting to me. The museum is small, but there are many exhibits. You can also purchase commemorative coins of Belarus (both copper-nickel and silver). I recommend you to visit!

A very interesting museum. I have never seen such a large collection of banknotes from almost all countries of the world, both existing and already disappeared. A very interesting and exciting tour, we learned a lot of new historical facts that we didn't even know about. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to inspect the entire collection (we were late for the train), you need to lay 2-3 hours to visit this small but very interesting museum. Next time, the first thing we will do is go to this museum to look at everything to the end and maybe hear new interesting facts.

A stunning museum with a large private collection. I would especially like to mention the guide - he held the attention of the entire public for almost two hours of the tour, it was pleasant to listen, interesting, time flew by unnoticed! I learned a lot of new things for myself, had a great time. If you are thinking of going or not going, definitely yes! A warm and inviting place 😍

Unexpectedly, I came across this museum and after visiting it, I was completely delighted with the museum, the exposition and the guide. Unfortunately, it is impossible to put 10 stars. This is a private museum, the owner and his staff have done a lot of painstaking work to create such a museum. These are simply indescribable impressions and emotions. It's hard to find the words. Thank you very much to the guide named Mikhail for a wonderful story about the history of money and its origin, belonging. There are many different commemorative coins. I will definitely go to this museum again and look at all the collections again. I advise everyone. To the owner and all employees, success and all the best!

A very interesting private museum, 7000 exhibits, all real, you can take pictures, there is an opportunity to leave heavy things. The cost is approximately 450 rubles; children (6 years old) are free of charge. Employee Mikhail is conducting an educational tour, thank him very much. 2 small halls. We liked it, I recommend it.

A large private collection of coins and bills. It's not the first time we've visited various museums related to money, but it's surprisingly good, we didn't expect it at all, and we definitely recommend visiting Minsk. But definitely with a guided tour! The tour is necessary because you simply won't learn half of the information on your own, but the guide is very good: he is passionate about history and money, tells fascinating stories, easily departs from the standard story and can provide additional information. I liked it, we'll be in Minsk - we'll have to come back again.

Unexpectedly, I really liked the small museum of money. First of all, thanks to the excellent guide (unfortunately I did not specify the name), he talked very interestingly and unobtrusively about any exhibit that the eye clung to, and even caught the interest of the child and paid attention to particularly interesting things. In the second hall, coins and banknotes of Belarus and managed to learn more about the history of not only money, but also the country as a whole! Thanks! I highly recommend you to visit.

This museum was also recommended, but it was awesome! The museum has an incredible number of banknotes, coins, commemorative coins and items related to monetary topics (bonds, checks, bills, coupons, etc.) from more than 150 countries. Initially, the idea was only for the history of his country, but it has grown to such a scale and continues to improve to this day. All the expositions presented there are exclusively original. Two staff guides very unobtrusively direct (from where you need to start looking in order to follow the development and history), point to something, tell you the origin or what it is in front of you at all. I really liked it, no one buzzes over you endlessly with awesome stories, they just know when to come up and say a few words, and where to explain, where to answer your questions. They even set a task for mindfulness🤭 Everything was so interesting to see: how the banknotes of different countries changed; what kind of money was fifteen hundred years ago and what they were like in general; how many beautiful coins, both gold and with diamonds, and unusual patterns. At the same time, the ticket cost 450 rubles and we spent about an hour of time here, if not more. I definitely recommend it!

Great place! We went for a walk. We thought we'd run for 10 minutes and that's it. We did not expect at all that they would tell and show us everything in detail and interestingly! Just super professional museum staff. We can safely say that the museum made our evening. We walked along afterwards, discussing what we had heard. We learned a lot of interesting things!
