I really liked the museum! It is large-scale, with various zones covering the events of the war and its participants. Interesting expositions dedicated to the partisan movement, concentration camp prisoners, and war children. I was very impressed by the cycle of paintings by the artist Savitsky, as well as dioramas and installations. To the depths of my soul! Thanks!

This is a must-visit place! Of course, with an excursion, it is impossible to book a place in the group in advance, you arrive and find out on the spot whether you get to the nearest one or not. We had to wait about an hour, but it's worth it. Moreover, the museum is located on the territory of a beautiful well-maintained park and you can spend time walking around the park while waiting for the tour to begin. There is ample parking next to the museum. The museum itself is large-scale, modern (projectors, interactive screens, etc.), spacious, with real military equipment of those years. The tour lasts almost 1.5 hours, but it will be absolutely tiresome for children. Definitely bring the children here, our duty is to tell them and preserve the memory of the terrible years of the Great Patriotic War. I bow low to Belarus for such an exposition, traveling around the Republic of Belarus we saw many monuments of the Great Patriotic War, all with flowers.

The museum is located on 4 floors. Each stand can be studied for hours. Before the eyes of the stories of people who wanted to live, love, build, but not everyone saw the Victory. I spent several hours there and I realize that it is negligible. We have to come back again and again. I looked at faces, read biographies, and looked for similarities with modern people. I wanted to understand how they stood up, defended, what was the strength of the spirit of the Winners! Take a tour, an audio guide, and talk to the staff in the halls. They will tell you everything in detail and show you. The museum is extraordinary. Come with the children. To remember the main thing, to honor the memory...

Such places cannot be bad, they are always needed and important. But this museum, among other things, is very well made. The exhibits are colorful and visual. Despite the fact that the expositions are designed to remind of terrible events, it's still a beautiful place. I recommend everyone to visit and never forget the great feat of our ancestors!

She visited the museum in March 2024.
The exposition is arranged in chronological order and is well structured.Original documents, belongings, awards, weapons. The exhibition of equipment is impressive.
A separate segment is the exhibition of the artist Savitsky, with paintings dedicated to the war.The museum is located on several levels and ends at the top with the Hall of Fame, where the names of the war heroes are listed.
It is clear that a lot of work has been done.
You can take thematic excursions in the museum, you can go on your own.
I plan to visit this museum with my children.
I recommend.

An interesting and incredibly huge amount of work has been done in the creation of this museum. It is clear that those people who were engaged in recreating the moments of battles and historical events were completely absorbed in this matter. They gave themselves completely so that their descendants would remember those terrible and tragic events! Take the tour right away, you definitely won't regret it!

A wonderful museum of the Second World War, with a very large exposition. The first time we arrived early and took audio guides: these are portable players where guides tell you about the exhibits of each hall, with details and details. It took us 4 hours to walk through the entire museum from beginning to end with an audio guide and stops at video projections. It was very informative, although physically difficult.
However, at least once, it is necessary to take such an excursion. You will learn a lot of things that you were not told at school and you will have a more complete picture of the events of the war.

All guests of the capital of Belarus definitely need to visit this place. It's hard to explain, but it's really a place of power-here you feel like you're part of history. The price for a free ticket is very affordable. Despite the fact that there are a lot of visitors, they do not interfere with each other. I found a lot of interesting historical facts for myself that I didn't know about. Must-visit

The museum is imbued with the spirit of patriotism, memory of the terrible events of the Second World War, heroism and exploits of ordinary people who stood up for the defense of the country.
The exhibits are impressive, most of them are authentic. The museum is large and spacious. Thanks to well-placed expositions and transitions between halls and floors, you can move unnoticed through the history of the war.
I recommend a group tour, you will go around the entire museum in an hour and hear important and interesting points about the exhibits, and if you wish, you can return and examine them in detail again.

I visited the museum last month with friends and was very pleased. The museum is very large and interesting, there are many different exhibits, from documents and photographs to weapons and equipment. I especially liked the hall dedicated to the defensive battles in Belarus in the summer of 1941, where you can see maps, posters, personal belongings of soldiers and partisans. The museum is very well decorated, there are many interactive elements, video and audio. The museum staff was friendly and polite, answered all our questions. The museum is located in a convenient location, we reached it by bus without any problems. I recommend everyone to visit this museum to learn more about the Great Patriotic War and to honor the memory of the heroes. I give the museum five stars.

In general, the museum is good, there are many different installations. But in sunny weather, being on the top floor just hurts the eyes. Everything gold and glass glares reflects the sun's rays, very brightly and the eyes open with difficulty to read the inscriptions.

A gorgeous museum. I've been there a couple of times. Each time the tour was conducted in different ways. Different accents were made. There was a group from Russia nearby, they were presented with facts in a different way. But it's still interesting. At the entrance to the upper floor there was an interesting interactive curtain, now for some reason it does not work. And so it was a cool feature. I advise everyone to visit.

Magnificent! There are just not enough words to convey all the feelings that we experienced when visiting this museum. Thank God that there is a place where history is kept unchanged. Many visitors, like us, sniffed, well, it's just impossible to walk past individual expositions without tears...Special thanks to the caretaker of one of the halls Kolikova Alla Ivanovna, with her fascinating story she was able to interest our 5-year-old daughter. I, I emphasize, personally. This is my opinion. We were a family (4 people) in Minsk. My wife's uncle died near Mogilev. We took an excursion. It's all good. The girl spoke loudly and clearly about the stages of the Great Patriotic War. I just didn't feel that it was one country that withstood the pressure of "dedicated Europe" and was able to turn it around. I do not diminish the role of the Belarusian partisan and underground movement, but I did not feel unity. Maybe I took it that way, I don't know... As in a fairy tale, twigs are easy to break, a broom is difficult....

The museum itself is beautiful and impressive, but the politeness and communication of the cashiers really spoiled the impression. With the scandal, the student ID was not sold, although the student ID itself was provided. The cashier was not aware that the university makes student tickets in the form of a card. And on the card itself, I wrote the expiration date of the CARD in order to pay with it. And not the validity period of the student's certificate. In response to her comments, the student's open personal account was also provided, where all information about the student is displayed. Nevertheless, she was not convinced. Boorish remarks, accusations of deception and rolled eyes were received, although all documents were provided. Of course, the price is small, but the very principle of treating people was very unpleasantly surprised

I really liked the museum. The exhibits are selected correctly, according to the theme. Real equipment, spacious halls.
I stopped for a long time at the picture of the "day of the war" when the enemy entered the village / town. Everyone does something different - who runs, who resists, who tries to evacuate people, and a wounded person from the Jewish people performs the last rite over the deceased (probably a brother).
It will take a long time to tell, you will be in Minsk (as I have been for several days), come here, at least for an hour. You will find your own.
