This is a must-visit place! Of course, with an excursion, it is impossible to book a place in the group in advance, you arrive and find out on the spot whether you get to the nearest one or not. We had to wait about an hour, but it's worth it. Moreover, the museum is located on the territory of a beautiful well-maintained park and you can spend time walking around the park while waiting for the tour to begin. There is ample parking next to the museum. The museum itself is large-scale, modern (projectors, interactive screens, etc.), spacious, with real military equipment of those years. The tour lasts almost 1.5 hours, but it will be absolutely tiresome for children. Definitely bring the children here, our duty is to tell them and preserve the memory of the terrible years of the Great Patriotic War. I bow low to Belarus for such an exposition, traveling around the Republic of Belarus we saw many monuments of the Great Patriotic War, all with flowers.

I spent several hours there and I realize that it is negligible. We have to come back again and again. I looked at faces, read biographies, and looked for similarities with modern people. The first time we arrived early and took audio guides: these are portable players where guides tell you about the exhibits of each hall, with details and details. It took us 4 hours to walk through the entire museum from beginning to end with an audio guide and stops at video projections. It was very informative, although physically difficult.
However, at least once, it is necessary to take such an excursion. You will learn a lot of things that you were not told at school and you will have a more complete picture of the events of the war.

I visited the museum last month with friends and was very pleased. The museum is very large and interesting, there are many different exhibits, from documents and photographs to weapons and equipment. I especially liked the hall dedicated to the defensive battles in Belarus in the summer of 1941, where you can see maps, posters, personal belongings of soldiers and partisans. The museum is very well decorated, there are many interactive elements, video and audio. The museum staff was friendly and polite, answered all our questions. The museum is located in a convenient location, we reached it by bus without any problems. I recommend everyone to visit this museum to learn more about the Great Patriotic War and to honor the memory of the heroes. I give the museum five stars.

A gorgeous museum. I've been there a couple of times. Each time the tour was conducted in different ways. Different accents were made. There was a group from Russia nearby, they were presented with facts in a different way. But it's still interesting. Magnificent! There are just not enough words to convey all the feelings that we experienced when visiting this museum. Thank God that there is a place where history is kept unchanged. I, I emphasize, personally. This is my opinion. We were a family (4 people) in Minsk. My wife's uncle died near Mogilev. We took an excursion. It's all good. The girl spoke loudly and clearly about the stages of the Great Patriotic War. I just didn't feel that it was one country that withstood the pressure of "dedicated Europe" and was able to turn it around. I do not diminish the role of the Belarusian partisan and underground movement, but I did not feel unity. Maybe I took it that way, I don't know... As in a fairy tale, twigs are easy to break, a broom is difficult....

And on the card itself, I wrote the expiration date of the CARD in order to pay with it. And not the validity period of the student's certificate. In response to her comments, the student's open personal account was also provided, where all information about the student is displayed. Nevertheless, she was not convinced. Boorish remarks, accusations of deception and rolled eyes were received, although all documents were provided. I stopped for a long time at the picture of the "day of the war" when the enemy entered the village / town. Everyone does something different - who runs, who resists, who tries to evacuate people, and a wounded person from the Jewish people performs the last rite over the deceased (probably a brother).
It will take a long time to tell, you will be in Minsk (as I have been for several days), come here, at least for an hour. You will find your own.
