An unexpectedly wonderful place. Short, but very bright! It is interesting for both children and adults. It does not tire. The modern exposition has a lot to learn from many museums, especially on the periphery. But I would call the free entrance for large families the icing on the cake. The rarest case. Enjoy 🤗

The museum is interesting and modern, there is Parking, a large selection of souvenirs at affordable prices. We wanted to book a tour in advance, but we couldn't get through for three days in a row. On the spot, it turned out that it was necessary to book a tour in advance. It's a pity, we were offered an audio guide. I hope that the issue of pre-booking excursions will be resolved.

To be honest, we didn't expect much from this museum, but when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. You can get acquainted with the art of Belarusian malyavanka, its founders and representatives (Alyona Kish, Yazep Drozdovich). An interactive screen with videos, audio, articles, and photos will help you do this. I also liked the separate exhibition dedicated to Easter (painted Easter eggs).

Thank you, the museum, although small, was really able to surprise with its compositions and modernly decorated halls. Unique works with their own history. It was interesting to listen to the guide. Good employees. Have a nice time!

I liked the museum, the young girl guide told me everything in detail, it was interesting to listen, without water, everything was on the case, she was able to interest and convey the history of the creation of the museum and exhibits. Unfortunately, there was no change at the cash desk to buy a magnet, so I recommend taking small money or a bank card.

A small museum, but informative. The main exhibition is dedicated to Alyona Kish and Yazep Drozdovich, the most famous artists of the malyavanok. Pure Belarusian heritage, in Russia they have not heard about the little Dywans. Take a tour (usually by appointment), it's much more interesting and understandable this way. But if not, then the information from the tour can be read in the information stand.

My wife and I decided to go here for the weekend, we saw a review somewhere, and we were interested. We enjoyed our visit immensely. We ordered an excursion, and the girl guide made this visit just a holiday, she told and showed everything so sincerely. Total. The exposition is great, the tour is great, very interesting and informative. It was combined with a visit to the mill and the historical and cultural museum-reserve. We advise everyone!!!

A unique , authentic place . The museum staff is friendly and competent. They gave us a mini tour, even though we didn't stop by for a long time. It's nice to be greeted with a smile and attention to the guests.

A nice little museum. There is an audio guide. You need to make an appointment for the tour in advance. During the visit, we found a master class on painting shoppers. There will be other events. It's interesting to look at naive art!

Interesting, simple, but tasteful. We took an excursion, the decision is correct, as it will not be so informative on your own. It takes about 30 minutes to get to everything, as the museum is small. Tickets and the tour are not expensive (5 rubles for adults, 3 for children, 20 rubles for the tour).

I really, really wanted to get there. And it turned out! I am proud that the name of Alyona is also associated with our Soligorsk region. The dedication sculptures in the hall with its malyavaniki are by our countryman Vladimir Lomeyko. I will definitely go again)

The museum is wonderful. There are 2 expositions in a small area:a permanent one dedicated to Yazep Drozdovich and Alyona Kish, and a temporary one, which has not yet been changed. I liked both the artistic solution of the exposition and the exhibits themselves. I got the impression that I was in a fairy tale, a native fairy tale. It will be useful for both adults and children to visit the museum in order to touch the history and uniqueness of Belarusian folk art.

A great place, thanks a lot to everyone who participated in the creation of the exhibition. But in a subjective opinion, it's all a bit tedious and not very interesting. The "art" on these drawings is really folk, unprofessional, primitive, and not to say very beautiful or meaningful. I understand that this is the point, but even a lover of art exhibitions like me quickly got tired. And even the beautiful guide did not save me. After all, it is subjective. The exhibition is unique and worthy of familiarization

An interesting permanent exhibition, the works of the authors are original. The museum itself is small, but everything is done mentally. In the hall of the permanent exhibition, you can watch films about artists (Alena Kish and Yazep Drozdovich). You can also buy cute postcards based on the authors' works at the checkout. If you are in Zaslavl, then the museum is definitely worth a look.

The museum is located within walking distance from the railway station. See the photo for the operating mode. The entrance fee is 5 rubles, you do not need to pay for additional photography. The museum building looks very attractive and authentic. The exposition consists of two small halls, modern renovation. We got acquainted with the exhibits on our own, but taking a tour, of course, would be even more exciting. I definitely recommend you to visit!

I discovered this kind of Belarusian art. Naive, primitive, but very warm. The ball is there on its own, without a group. All information can be read in the hall itself.

We visited the Malyavanki Museum in Zaslavl on October 17. A unique type of Belarusian folk art is painted wall carpets, "malyavany dywany" or "malyavanky", as they are called here. This trend in decorative and applied art is not known to everyone today, even in Belarus itself, which is explained by the very limited development of this genre in art in terms of time and place of distribution. Malyavany dywans, which means "painted carpets", are large—sized paintings painted on homespun canvas or burlap of dark color with oil or homemade glue paints. Malyavanki have been widespread throughout Belarus since the end of the 19th century. From about 1920 to 1960, this genre developed rapidly and was extremely popular in villages and villages throughout Belarus, and then just as rapidly declined and was almost forgotten. The reason for this was the rapid development of industry and the mass production of TNP, so "carpets with deer" almost instantly replaced carpets hand-painted by local self-taught artists. The art of carpet painting was not as widespread as weaving, but in each district there were one or two master artists who executed paintings to order. Some craftsmen, especially after the war, went to villages and worked for shelter and food. Most often, such paintings were ordered by the bride for the wedding, they were hung over the marital bed and served as a kind of talisman. Wall hangings were in almost every home. The largest collection of painted carpets is located in the Museum of Zaslavl. The most famous and original artists who worked in this direction are Alyona Kish and Yazep Drozdovich.

A great idea, a very modern design solution for the building and a unique exposition. There is parking, including for the disabled. Access to the building has been organized for a FOUL, an entrance group has been adopted, a floor on one level, a bathroom, etc. Everything is very convenient! The staff is very friendly. Another tourist highlight in the city of Zaslavl.
