A must-visit place if you are a tourist. The unusual architecture is impressive. There are interesting guided tours in the library itself, I recommend it. There is also an observation deck (separate entrance, not through the library). That's definitely worth a visit. Despite the fact that the playground is only on the 22nd floor (not that high, right?), it offers an almost panoramic view of the entire city. The entrance ticket costs very little — 10 rubles (for December 2024). In addition to the observation deck, you can visit an art exhibition and a small cafe where you can enjoy a cup of coffee with a view of Minsk.

**The National Library of Belarus** is an impressive symbol of modern architecture and the intellectual wealth of the country! The futuristic almaz building impresses with its scale and illumination, which turns it into a real art object in the evening. Inside there are endless book collections, cozy reading rooms with panoramic windows and an atmosphere inspiring immersion in knowledge. Be sure to go up to the observation deck — the view of Minsk from here is breathtaking! Modern technologies, attentive staff and well-groomed territory around make the visit comfortable and memorable. It is a must-visit for connoisseurs of culture, architecture and those who are looking for inspiration! 📚✨

A huge territory is adjacent to the library, there are Parking spaces. We were on the 22nd and 23rd floors of the National Library. There is a cafe on the 22nd floor, as well as an exhibition of Belarusian writers, and a viewing platform on the 23rd floor. It was raining, and I couldn't see anything from the height of the 23rd floor. I liked everything. Especially the cafe, the portions are huge, they wrapped up what they didn't eat. We recommend you to visit.

I really liked the internal atmosphere in the library - there are a lot of exhibitions, and at the same time it is a real library. Nice congress center, interesting sculptures in the lobby. I definitely advise the guests of Minsk to visit the Library and the observation deck (there is a separate entrance). However, externally, the architectural solution is, to put it mildly, controversial. For example, it looked like a grenade to me...

I visited the National Library in Minsk in May of this year. This place is definitely a must for tourists, even if books are not your main passion. The architecture of the building is the first thing that impresses – very unusual, futuristic, in the shape of a diamond. Honestly, not everyone likes the look, I personally found it interesting, but controversial. It looks especially cool in the evening with the backlight. Inside is a completely different matter! I really liked the atmosphere: it was quiet, spacious, there was a sense of scope and respect for knowledge. There are not only a lot of books, but also interesting exhibitions (both book and art), and I saw cool sculptures in the lobby. It feels like it's also a cultural center. Advice to the guests of Minsk: be sure to go to the observation deck! It has a separate entrance, not through the main library building (this is important). The ticket cost 10 rubles. The landing on the 22nd floor isn't that high, is it? But the view is amazing, almost panoramic, the whole city is in the palm of your hand, especially pleasant in May. There is also a cafe where you can drink coffee with a view. The elevator ride itself is also memorable. Minor disadvantages: there were quite a lot of people on the site in May, so I had to wait a bit at the entrance. And inside the library, at first you get a little lost because of the size.

Greetings from Russia!!! I was in Minsk in April 2025. This library is not located in the city center, far from the main attractions. The building is a giant, impressive in its size, looks beautiful from the outside, pleasantly impressive, a huge public space next to the library and within walking distance of the shopping center. I didn't go inside the library, I prefer to look at the buildings from the outside. Be sure to visit and take a look at the library of Minsk . It is located next to the Vostok metro station

If you want a cool overview of Minsk, go here. I recommend visiting the library in the evening, when the lights of the city begin to glow. Admission is discounted for schoolchildren , students and others of 5 p categories , for the remaining 10 . See the work schedule on the off-site , you get to the observation deck by a glass elevator , an exciting sight! There is a cafe and an art gallery of modern Belarusian artists on the 22nd floor, and there are free lenses for observing objects on the site itself. The views are amazing! The staff is polite and attentive, I recommend it to everyone!!!

I really liked the National Library, the spacious halls, and the atmosphere of the Soviet-era reading rooms. There is a huge selection of literature for all tastes, you can stop by for a guided tour. The building itself is a separate architectural masterpiece that stands out from others on Independence Avenue.

Amazing diamond-shaped architecture! There is a subway and a huge mall nearby. I would like to mention the observation deck. I expected more. Although the view is magnificent of the city, everything is covered in protective glasses, so it's hard to see. I had to stand on tiptoe to see something properly. There are binoculars. The view of the city is simply amazing with how many forests there are! There are so few buildings and so much greenery - it's very beautiful! A panoramic elevator leads to the observation deck.

It is a very interesting landmark in Minsk, I recommend everyone to visit it if you are staying in Minsk. It's interesting to take a glass elevator and go to the observation deck. A place where you can combine business with pleasure, and go to the observation deck, admire the city from a height and go shopping in the shopping center. I recommend.

This is not only a library with a huge selection of literature, but also a beautiful building with a magnificent view from the observation deck! beautiful and fascinating. Despite the height, it's warm upstairs. there is a large pair of binoculars, thanks to which you can better see the nearest attractions (a description of which is on the site)

It's just great, a great place to work, read or study, lots of good books, a big bathroom, clean and beautiful. There is a piano, we visited Galleries, there is a museum. We paid only 5 Belarusian rubles for two people for a reader's ticket, spent 2 hours there, but we would like to visit every day.

The business card of Minsk. I really liked it, it's a pity we didn't get to the observation deck because of the strong wind. It's very cozy, comfortable and thoughtful inside. Lots of computers for study/work. Polite staff. It's a bit of a confusing system with access cards, but it's necessary, so it's necessary ;)

Okay, but somehow everything is expected. It is interesting to see Minsk from a height and see wide avenues and beautiful Soviet architecture, not typical Khrushchev buildings, but interesting columns, powerful buildings and figures on roofs and facades. If you like the delights of architecture, then you need to start from here, and then walk around the center.

It's a very interesting and beautiful place. We went up to the observation deck initially. Beautiful view of Minsk. There's a gallery below where you can see paintings and go to a cafe, which we did. Near the library, you can walk along the pond, there is a large shopping center nearby. The library can be easily reached by metro, which is a 5-minute walk away.

Amazing view of the panorama of Minsk. We were a little unlucky with the weather: it was quite cool, so we left the site quickly enough. By purchasing a ticket, you get access to the observation deck and the floor located under the platform.: There's a lovely cafe there, I highly recommend it. The menu is simple, but everything is very tasty, the portions are large, they cook quickly.

It's a very beautiful building, both inside and out. We were on the observation deck, there is a great view of the city in all directions, there were few people on the weekend at 18, there was enough room for everyone. There are also free telescopes. There is no need to wait for the elevator, everything works very quickly, people are quickly allowed through in groups. There were only positive impressions from the visit.

I definitely advise everyone who visits Minsk to visit. Be sure to take a guided tour of the library, not just a visit to the observation deck. The tour is sooo interesting, even an 11-year-old child was impressed. Everything is very modern and technologically advanced, with a reference to the way it was before. The climb to the observation deck is also impressive

The huge complex was not even expected, because the photo does not show the real scale of the building and the area it occupies. We went up to the observation deck of the 23rd floor - the views of the city are spectacular! Then we went to a cafe on the 22nd floor and had a snack. Delicious, the price tag is restaurant. The waiter speaks Belarusian quickly, which causes some difficulties in communication. Not all guests of the city know the national language. It would not hurt to switch to Russian if you see that you are not understood. Otherwise, I liked everything!

We often rent auditoriums for various events. Convenient location, affordable price, and everything in the main architectural wonder of the country. But of course, security is probably the only point that is very annoying. She was clearly recruited from military institutions, where entry is strictly prohibited. Of course, the management should tell them that people can and should be allowed into the library. On 08.12.24, there was a conflict with the head of security, a short round uncle with a red face clung to literally every visitor. He accosted us because of the tripods, claiming that this was a professional shooting technique. Moreover, we did not have cameras, we shoot our events on the phone so that everyone would be in the frame. The evil uncle guard said that you can shoot on the phone, but tripods are not allowed)). He comes up with rules on the go)). We went to the information center, where a nice girl explained to us what can be filmed and what can not be (books). In general, in our case, according to her, access is open to us, and she personally went to the checkpoint to notify the head of security about this. But my uncle did not give up. Principles!! For some reason, expressively, as at the blackboard, he told us that he had been working in security for 14 years and that just anyone would not pass him. And we, the very "random" residents of the Republic of Belarus, taxpayers, for whose taxes that same evil uncle receives a po. Oh well.. A little later, a policeman came out to us, and lo and behold!, he began to ask the head of the guard why he would not let us in. Apparently, he's already got everyone there, both visitors and employees. But my uncle turned out to be completely impenetrable, we already wanted to invite the library management, but we already felt sorry for our time and we still handed over the tripods to the wardrobe, since they did not even fit into the storage room. In general, the head of the guard drank blood and spoiled the day, diligently creating a lot of inconvenience for us. Dear leadership of the main building of the country, pay attention to the situation. You have thousands of tourists, guests of the capital. Well, it's just a shame to bring someone from the guests there so that the day would not be spoiled along with the memories of the tour. Yes, of course, security should perform its function. But it's not the first year that we've been your guests and there have been a lot of conversations with the guards, but they always understand the situation and kindly let them through. But this is the first time we have such a case, perhaps this head of security is a new person, if so, then in vain! Please take action.

The best place I've been so far. The library design is top notch! Everywhere there is no dirt at all, the floors are already shiny. There are a lot of chairs and sofas that are so soft that you literally drown in them. The staff is very polite and talkative. They will always tell you what and where. There are thousands of books here. There are many places where you can read, or rather they are everywhere. A must-see place for tourists! By the way, while I was walking here, I saw only 5 people reading.

The observation deck on the 23rd floor is the top location in Minsk in my opinion. If you come in the evening, you can spend the sunset, then have a delicious snack in a cafe on the floor below with a beautiful view of Minsk, and then return to the observation deck and admire the night city (no one was kicked out at 23 o'clock).
