The Classical Museum of Local Lore. It is located near the central street, on K.Marx Ave., easily found on the navigator. I bought a ticket to 2 exhibitions - nature (lower floor) and history. I liked nature more! The caretaker even offered to watch a short educational film about bison. Overall, my impressions of the museum are positive. The ticket price, I think, could have been lower. She paid about 600rubles with our money. There are souvenirs on the ground floor. Unfortunately, I didn't like anything. I recommend visiting the museum. It is open daily. The ticket office is open until 18:30.

We visited the exhibition of New Year's toys, the ticket office on the 1st floor, the halls on the 3rd floor, 3 halls are included in the ticket, there are also unique toys and stories on a4 forms on the walls of New Year celebrations in different countries and cultures, it is quite interesting to read who is more curious. In the first hall, there is a small photo zone, modest, but not bad, plus a screen where you can watch a video of the toy creation process, he was surprised. There are toys from various islands, even the names of which have not been heard, interesting figures, toys and decor from Africa, Peru, Australia, Indonesia, Japan, USA, Iceland, etc. and the famous Dutch New Year's porcelain, a copy of the largest glass ball from the Book of Records, presented to the last Pope, of course, I would like even more stands For some it will be fine, for others it will not be enough. The price doesn't bite on tickets. On the downside, the silence is like in a library that you can touch.. For the atmosphere, they could play music on the speakers on a regular basis, for example, a New Year's theme or just a calm instrumental. We also visited the historical museum and the Museum of Ecology and Nature earlier, which is in the basement without a tour- it's fine, I liked the Nature Museum, it's very well done, and then we showed a small retro movie with an instructive story about why hedgehogs are better off in the wild. Of course, the historical one is a bit weak for such a museum, but it was still interesting to me, perhaps I would still listen to the reviews and complement the exposition.I would also like to mention the cool stained glass windows, the building is spacious and clean. Taste and color. I don't know if I should advise the guests of the capital, for me, the Nature Museum is cool on the ground floor, especially the hall with models of butterflies and beetles - I've seen so many here, there are different opinions in the reviews, but 2 adults liked it, it's great for me. I hope they will do it in a historical way later, like in an Archiological one, with interactive content and some cool zones. But I still can't rate less than that. For me, the Museum of Ecology has leveled the situation, tickets can be taken for all or part of the exhibition)

You know, I can't definitely recommend it. Very mixed feelings. Of course, it seems necessary to visit the museum, the topic is important. But I noticed a number of drawbacks. The exposition is not complete. The overall information picture does not add up. It is made up of fragments with different information layers. In a different style. And even with a different spirit. The main hall is very retro. The halls about the war are interesting, but there is no connection with the main exhibition. The hall on the second floor is also disconnected in meaning. In general, there is very little information support. There are not enough annotations, descriptions and explanations. I think this can be extended to an acceptable level. But I'm still a little disappointed.

An interesting exposition makes you think and remember the story. Very friendly staff, polite, very interesting to talk about. There is a private exhibition of writing in the museum, and it is fashionable to purchase postcards that are copies of old ones and send them there.

A wonderful themed exhibition on New Year's toys. From exclusive to mass-produced, from the ancient 19th century to the modern, different styles, traditions of the new year and Christmas. Interesting, a recommendation to visit.

The most impressive thing for me was the eco-exposition, stuffed animals and birds, and the vegetation of Belarus! There is a hall dedicated to the history of the post office, a hall dedicated to the Chernobyl accident!Historical costumes have been recreated!

The main historical museum of the country. It is located in a historic building of the early twentieth century. The exposition is interesting, although it is standard. For history lovers, it is a must-visit.

It's a pretty boring museum with almost nothing in it. It is fashionable to call the museum of Soviet Belarus, of which 80% is the history of the war. Only one room is more or less interesting, where they superficially tell the whole story briefly. But it's not worth visiting the museum for it. I didn't even have anything to take a picture of, so I'm not adding photos. I definitely do not recommend you to visit.

It's a good museum, and you can learn a lot about the formation of Belarus. The museum has several exhibitions at once. It is not very convenient to look for different cabinets with expositions.

We visited the museum on 12/24/24. The museum seemed small, with a poor exposition, it seems that it should be larger in the national Metropolitan Museum. Friendly staff.

It's a good museum. We were very pleased with the interactive exhibits in the Hall of Culture. A great souvenir shop. There is not enough audio guide. Groups of schoolchildren who were aping in the halls were very much in the way. Perhaps organized groups should have a separate day.

I expected more from the museum in Minsk. I did not see a special system in the exhibition - ancient times, castles, 1st and 2nd world wars.. An audio guide would definitely be nice, and more information for independent visitors. As an option for spending time in bad weather, you can consider

During their stay in Minsk, they visited the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus and did not regret it. There are many interesting exhibits, and the exposition dedicated to the Second World War was very impressive. But, still, I couldn't help but pay attention to some points. Navigation turned out to be illogical for me. And I would like to place temporary exhibitions separately from the main exhibition. The museum has a lot to develop. Perhaps a significant part of the historical rarities are kept in provincial castles and museums. But now there is an opportunity to revitalize the museum halls with an interactive component. In any case, I recommend visiting the museum and do not miss the Museum of Nature and Ecology, which is located in the same building and is a branch of the historical museum. By the way, the staff at the ticket office and in both museums are very friendly and helpful.

It could have been better. For the Central/Main One, it is weak and sparse, there are many gaps, there is little to see. One discount is that many exhibits were previously "lost". The guides, with all that, well done, the tour is interesting and informative, worth it. The employee at the printing press is pleasant to communicate with, enlightened in detail, enthusiastically about printing, knows a lot and shares information, respect. By the way, it is not appropriate for "Such a" museum to let some "private owners" do separate exhibitions "for a fee." A strange attempt to commercialize history.

The exhibition is very weak and not interesting in terms of history. There are few exhibits, and even less text.there are televisions, probably they should be broadcasting something interesting, but they were turned off. The only halls that were very interesting were only about nature and the animal world. The stuffed animals and birds were impressive. the collection of butterflies is interesting.

The staff is polite, there are temporary exposures. Be sure to use a separate ticket to the Department of Natural Sciences - it's interesting!
