We drove to Nesvizh Castle from Moscow specifically to see this beautiful structure, plunge into history, wander along the canal and cross the bridge, which was probably a lifting bridge in the Middle Ages!!! A grandiose structure! The architecture, the interior decoration and the lunch under the vaulted painted ceilings in the historical interiors left a wonderful impression!!! Built in the 16th century, the castle, as the ancestral home of the Radziwills, preserved the spirit of that time, the story came alive before our eyes!! We spent the night in a small hotel on the castle grounds!!! This is the stone road leading to it in one of the photos. We visited the concert of the folklore ensemble, which took place on the site near the castle!!! We plunged into the atmosphere of Belarusian fun, when the audience, along with the artists, danced to national melodies!! Bravo to those whose efforts and efforts preserve this majestic history!! Come and see for yourself!!!

One of the goals of visiting Belarus. The castle itself made a great impression. We were at the May holidays. And although we arrived at the opening (at 9:00), and there were mostly groups, not individual visitors, there were no audio guides, we were also refused an excursion. I had to dock with the students. We weren't very lucky here either. The guide, a man, was not interested in the group, and neither were we, focusing on the post-war period of the history of Nesvizh Castle. It is best to watch films about Nesvizh before visiting (to understand all the Radziwills) and go to the castle. The castle complex has a hotel, a cafe and a gift shop. By the way, it is worth taking care of housing in advance: there were no places in hotels a day before arrival, they lived in an apartment that is rented daily.

The castle is located in the city of Nesvizh, it is better to park by car on Mickiewicz Street, there are several parking pockets. Do not forget to visit the Church of the Corpus Christi, it is nearby, in May 2023 it is under active repair and the entrance was not from the facade, but on the right side along the exposed boards, they let you inside, so there is also something to explore.

It caught my eye that the palace itself smells like a new building, there is no sense of antiquity. This is an important moment for me. I did not like it: the passage to the embankment around the palace is closed by a chain with information about video surveillance. Why close it at all? Tip: take a good mood and focus on the positive with you on the trip.

I do not recommend going to the local restaurant "Hetman". The interior is very beautiful, but the kitchen is absolutely worthless! The dishes were served with stale, stale bread, and when we asked to replace it, we were told that there was no other bread! All the dishes also leave much to be desired, so it's better to plan lunch somewhere else!

Especially in combination with the history of the Radzville family, which is inextricably linked with the castle and with these places in general. The staff of the complex are very friendly and you can see how much they love what they do - the tour flies by in one breath, the guides are happy to answer any questions that arise. As befits every decent castle, there is its own ghost, the Black Lady. In autumn, when it gets dark early, there are themed excursions for those who like to tickle their nerves. The only thing that slightly blurred the overall pleasant impression was the large-scale reconstruction of the castle. Because of this, it was not possible to take a photo from the most successful angle. Well, it's an extra reason to visit here again!

One of the most significant architectural monuments is the Nesvizh Castle, the construction of which began in 1583. But back in 1533. Nesvizh finally passes to the Radziwills, the richest family of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, who owned Nesvizh until 1939, before the advent of Soviet power. The castle was surrounded by a high earthen rampart with bastions at the corners and a water moat. There was a three-storey palace opposite the entrance gate with a drawbridge. The castle has been rebuilt several times, so it combines features of different styles: Renaissance, Baroque, classicism, Neo-Gothic.

It's like in the knight movies. Large spacious halls, many exhibits and portraits. Everything is amazing in its luxury. Next to the castle there is a park with a picturesque bridge over a pond decorated with a sculpture of a mermaid. There is a path around the castle, there is a large pond to which you can go down, as well as a cafe. The prices seemed expensive to us, but probably ordinary for such a place. For example, 3 small draniki of 10 Belarusian rubles. There is a cafe and a restaurant on the castle grounds. We really liked the castle. I recommend it to everyone.
