Since there are few places to go with children in Astana, the institution is very good. Sharks are pleasing, there is a stingray (but only one). As an additional option, they take photos, then they sell them to you. But the quality of the photos is very sad. It's better to take pictures on your phone (then print them out).

A very small and dark aquarium, we were very surprised by the area.
Aquariums are half-empty and dirty. The walls of the aquariums are dirty, the water is cloudy, the glass may be scratched and hard to see, besides it is very dark, poor lighting.
In aquariums, fish have plastic plants that they take for real and eat. All bushes are half-bald, do not kill fish with plastic.
Half a year ago we visited the Moskvarium in Moscow and after it in Astana it is generally sad. I mean, you can make lighting that is comfortable for fish and people, there are huge aquariums in Moscow and sooo many fish, but at the same time cleanliness, and you can also put live plants to the fish, or remove them altogether
I also want to note the stickiness: "Let me take a picture of you, it's just for us," and then they sell these photos. Divorce is like in the market, strange for such a place. Either you need to say directly that you will need to buy these photos later, or remove such people, they spoil the image of the institution.
(I am a marketer and I know all the tricks, so I did not fall for the photo, and how many people were "sold" photos that they were not going to buy?)
To compare photos on one phone in Moscow and Astana, in Moscow you can consider every fin, every pebble, and in Astana you will break your eyes.
