The first time is confusing, but then it's quite clear. The staff are professional, decent and actually try their best to help. I'd advise to use the full service as it saves so much time and nerves. Though some of the staff speak English which helps for non-Russian speakers. On the downside there are long wait times, plus some of the people there (non-locals) for visas etc can be very, very rude and aggressive.

I can't find the right words for how Office 6 works. They are rude, the queue moves for a long time, it feels like people come to work not to work, but to drink tea and discuss the problems they leave home with. Additionally, they can't give everything at once, they need to leave work ten times to bring the missing documents, they can't make copies, although they don't have the energy and money to wait in line again. People take time off from work to get into this office and do everything, as a result, the person leaves with nothing, for which the specialist is rude and continues to pretend that he is working, while there is no politeness. They don't know how to work with people, apparently people are sitting even without secondary education.
