The monument to Vladimir Stepanovich Omelianyuk in Minsk was erected in 1980 on Independence Square, near the Red Church, on the site of the death of an underground worker. The monument is a two-meter-high block of red granite with uneven rough edges, and a pack of bullet-marked leaflets seems to be bursting out from under it. A torch and barbed wire are depicted on the black granite wall that surrounds the memorial sign. A commemorative inscription dedicated to a member of the Minsk underground City Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus (b) is inscribed on a block of red granite.B, the editor of the first issue of the underground newspaper Zvyazda, Hero of the Soviet Union Omelianyuk, who died at this place on May 26, 1942. Eternal memory!!!

The monument is located on Sovetskaya Street near the Red Church. The monument is made in the form of a stone with a text dedicated to the Minsk underground worker, Hero of the Soviet Union, editor of the first issue of the underground newspaper Zvyazda. Bullet—riddled newspaper sheets fall to the base of the memorial - the memory of the place of Vladimir Omelianyuk's death on May 26, 1942.
