In downtown. There was a double room. The whole room is an ordinary room. Clean, quiet, tidy, beautiful view from the window to the river embankment. The staff is friendly, clear and to the point. The shower is working without any "it flows here if you twist it"))))) The rooms are clean. A fan (relevant in the heat), a refrigerator, a TV, a kettle, Wi-Fi (I didn't need a microwave oven, so I didn't remember), there are enough sockets. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Nothing antediluvian has been noticed, it is modern. And very affordable prices.

For all the unsightly and dilapidated exterior interiors, the Sail turned out to be functionally suitable and convenient. The historical center of Polotsk. Convenient parking. The room is quite spacious. Clear. Fresh bed linen.
Sockets, hooks in the bathroom, hangers and space for things in the hallway. The only thing that didn't work well was the antediluvian TV.
The price by the standards of 2024 is simply ridiculous. Of course, the hotel is not for the demanding connoisseurs of hotel design.
There are no breakfasts, but it was not difficult to find a cafe in morning Polotsk.
So, if, like us, someone does not manage to get into a reputable hotel in this wonderfully sweet town with an amazing history - do not be afraid of the Sail - he will fulfill his role as a poor but hospitable host. One night in July 2024.

Of the cons, it was Saturday, the room is located above the cafe and music was playing until 23.00, the administrator notified us in advance. But we fell asleep to the music quietly.

I really liked the hotel. It is ideal for tourists.
Within walking distance from the center. The staff is polite and considerate. The rooms are modest, but clean and cozy. The room has everything you need: shower gel, shampoo, towels, clean bed linen, glasses, cups, kettle. A hairdryer can be taken at the reception. The price tag for the room is very loyal!
The only caveat is that you can hear the music from the restaurant on the ground floor quite well. But fortunately, they always finish clearly at 23.00. So it's not so critical.

They refused to make breakfast in the hotel cafe, because there was an event (wedding) the day before. At the same time, at 8 a.m. in Polotsk, you can find other great places for breakfast.

The location is great. In the city center, on the banks of the Dvina River. Room 503 is a single room - there is no kettle. The refrigerator is practically not working. Apparently, there is no air conditioning in any of the rooms. It was saved by the fact that the sun was only in the room in the morning and when checking in after 15.00 it was quite comfortable (it was 37 in the sun on 12.07.24 outside). The mattress springs dug into the body. But the linen is good, clean. The towels are great. There is no lid on the toilet. The water pressure is good. There is carpet everywhere. The room is well cleaned. And apparently, no one smoked in it. The socket above the bed is very high. There is a table, an armchair, a coffee table and a TV. Young people were having fun under the window until 12.00. The music in the bar was turned off after 23.00. the elevator is large.

If you are reading this review, then first of all I advise you to drive past, in terms of spending the night, this locality. Everything is creepy and tired here. Both apartments and hotels. They do not meet any standards. There is no breakfast in the morning anywhere. And cafes start working from 10-11 am. The sail could have been a great hotel, but the owners put on development. The rooms and their furnishings come from the 90s. The linen is different, the plumbing barely works. The smell is musty from old age of everything. Drive past it. But, this hotel can be a salvation in case of an urgent rest stop.

Спасибо персоналу гостиницы, что оперативно нас заселили у себя в гостях. Очень удобный комплекс. Хорошее расположение в городе.
Для разогрева воды вам предоставят чайник на ресепшене. Вода питьевая в кране номера (хорошие фильтры).
Уборка номеров своевременная.
Нет посторонних запахов.
Изоляция окон хорошая, (глушат музыку кафе и шума ж/д моста)
Объемный лифт.
Высокие потолки.
Не разобрались с освещением в холле этажа (подсвечивали фонариком), но это мелочи.
Цены очень доступная на любой уровень комфорта.

The Volna restaurant is located in the same complex. But he starts working only at 12 o'clock, so there is nowhere to have breakfast here. There is free parking on site. The rowing sports club is also located here. There are a lot of young people walking in formation under the guidance of coaches. It's OK to stay overnight for one night. But no more.

Прекрасная уютная гостиница. Вежливый, приветливый и отзывчивый персонал. Чистые, обставленные современной мебелью номера. Есть вместительный лифт, довольно шустрый wi-fi. Красивые виды из окна. Из минусов - в номерах телевизоры-"кубики" и плохая звукоизоляция (слышно как в соседнем номере похрапывает мужчина), что, в принципе, не сильно сказалось на моем мнении об этой гостинице.

Гостиница среднего уровня, расположена в центре. Номера весьма скромные, но чистые. Звукоизоляции особо нет, соседний номер будете слышать как свой. Минус также за кафе внизу, где в пятницу и выходные празднуют свадьбы и дни рождения и до 23.00 придётся невольно "веселиться" вместе с ними. В целом, на 1-2 ночи в городе вполне можно остановиться в этой гостинице.

Здравствуйте, нормальная гостиница, цена качество. Очень хороший персонал в основном. Даже на 4,5 только лишь из за того, что в день заселения, 2 сентября , бронировали заранее почему то поселили в двух местный номер, переоборудованный изтодноместного, очень тесный для двоих человек и с окном выходящим на кафе и банкетный зал, в обоих местах были банкеты (пятница) шум до 23-30 не умолкал, дальше мы попросили и нас переселили. И вот здесь первое удивление предложили несколько номеров с окнами на тихую улицу, нормальных просторных, настоящих двухместных. Вопрос почему нельзя было сразу дать нормальный двухместный номер?. После двенадцати часов дороги хотелось отдохнуть, а не переселяться в другой номер. И с номером получилось еще неприятный момент. Мы сказали выезжаем 10 сентября. Восьмого мне говорят девятого вам нужно будет переехать в другой номер, так как к нам на одну ночь!!! приедет группа из Латвии им нужен двухместный номер. Ну я не выдержала. Позвольте, а вы, что номера по номеру комнат бронируете? И раз есть номера , то почему их сразу не поселить в какой то другой номер, почему в тот, в котором уже живем мы. Почему перед дорогой я должна на одну ночь переселяться. Совсем непонятно. Но когда мы пришли с прогулки нам сказали, извините, это та администратор, что вас заселяла напутала, оставай тест в своем номере. Но на полдня настроение было испорчено. Так что ей, минус, за то что сразу послала в маленький шумный номер, при наличии хороших и вот немного напутала. Кстати чайник тоже дала с отломанной крышкой, на следующий день Даша или Надежда поменяли на нормальный. Две Надежды, Даша, просто умницы.
Полотенца написано меняют раз в три дня поменяли по просьбе на пятый, но убирали чистенько каждый день. В кабинке душевой дверь сломалась сразу , но сантехник через день починил, но все равно она еле двигалась. Там не одевать ее снова надо, а менять колесики. Кафе могло бы работать хотя бы с десяти. Но есть чайник и позавтракать можно в номере, благо продукты изумительные, сметана, творог, сыр. Обедать можно в Домиане, пиццерии Доминика, или столовая Чабор напротив поликлиники на Коммунистической. Можно и завтракать и обедать(с 8-00 работает) очень и очень достойно и абсолютно недорого. И если взять в целом номер, город, и большую часть персонала, то все очень даже хорошо. Спасибо.

Хорошая гостиница. Больше всего порадовал приветливый радушный персонал. Очень приятно было вернуться вечером в номер и увидеть чистую, обработанную сантехнику. Мягкая уютная постель и завораживающий вид на Западную Двину. Из минусов - некачественный рукомойник и душ.
Кафе «Волна» на первом этаже а-ля домашняя кухня по цене ресторана. За эти деньги я бы предпочла ресторан вместо кафе. Из блюд могу рекомендовать только драники (пышные, вкусные,зажаристые). Паста - обычные макароны с кусочками мяса, а суп дня - обычный домашний мамин суп что-то вроде маминой импровизации «я его сварила из того, что было». Очень приятный обслуживающий персонал. Порадовало:)

Провела в отеле одну ночь. Отель среднего уровня. Если просто переночевать, то вполне. В целом всё неплохо, чисто. Но бросилось в глаза ковровое покрытие, которое нужно давно поменять, вроде бы и вычищено, но с налётом многолетней грязи. И мебель, и постельное белье вроде и не выглядят древними, но по внешнему виду как в 80-х годах прошлого века.
