I want to warn you against a possible fiasco and disappointment if you decide to enjoy a wonderful evening on the terrace of the restaurant Grove.
My friend and I decided to arrange a wonderful evening in nature on Sunday, with delicious farm food and a glass of wine. I previously wrote to the restaurant's account, specifying the need to book a table. They confirmed to me that it was better to book a table and left a phone number. I called back on Friday and left the best table for us on the terrace for two. The receptionist assured me that the table would be in a good place and we would be satisfied.
On Sunday afternoon, the same receptionist called me back and clarified our presence in the evening. The table was booked for 17:00, I confirmed the reservation. We said goodbye until the evening.
What was our surprise when the receptionist called us back at 16:45 and laughingly informed us that there was no table on the terrace for us, because, because. But they're ready to put us inside. We were a little freaked out and I said we'd think about it. But there was not much to think about, since we had already arrived and spent money on a taxi and our time. Deciding to figure out where the table went, we entered the restaurant, where no one paid attention to us and did not meet new guests. After wandering around the crowded terrace and the full hall, we caught the waiter, who did not lose his head and said that they did not accept reservations over the phone. Whooooo??? And explained that they say the banquet guests are all business.
Then the cheerful administrator Anastasia came up to us, who behaved very familiarly, both on the phone and in person. To the question: How did it happen that the reserved table was given to other guests? She spread her hands and happily reported: such circumstances 🤷
Why should I? Will you excuse me 😅
After that, my friend and I turned around and left together.
We have not heard a single regret or apology and no alternative. We arrived, spent time and money on a taxi, we were ready to hear suggestions, but they did not follow.
It is a pity that an institution with a good reputation, which positions itself as a restaurant, treats guests like this.

Disgusting service and organization ! We booked a table for 5 people the day before the event, the administrator promised to call back the next day and confirm the reservation. As a result, there was no call. We called back on our own an hour before leaving for the restaurant, and they tell us that our table is not there, it was given to a banquet.
First, you need to pay attention to the professionalism of the staff , when answering the call, you need to introduce yourself and say the position you hold, or at least bother to give your name. So that a person understands who he is talking to, the administrator, the waiter, the manager.
Secondly , he will learn how to talk to the client and at least try to hear him , and not be rude and say that we can come and stand .
Thirdly, in case of force majeure, people are warned in advance about the embarrassments that have occurred, so that there is time to rebuild their plans and offer an alternative.
This place left only negative emotions, a spoiled mood and a spoiled evening. If your activity is aimed at banquets, do not bother people with your promises.
