The commemorative sculpture group in honor of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus called "Continuity of Belarusian Science" (team of authors: sculptors Elena Kharaberush and Leopard Pokulnitsky, architect Armen Sardarov), in my opinion, is a striking example of the genre urban sculpture that is currently fashionable. The composition is made of bronze and mounted on a small granite podium, which brings it as close to the viewer as possible. The authors captured the moment when a venerable, wise man with rich life experience, who has reached great heights in his scientific activity, an academician invites a young, still indecisive, but full of ambitions and new ideas, a fellow graduate student to the temple of science. In my opinion, the sculptural group organically fit in and complemented the architectural ensemble of the entrance group of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. I RECOMMEND IT!!!
