The bikes are good, it surprised me - I have not seen normal bikes in Abkhazia, but here are normal mountain bikes, in my case the body kit is deor, in good condition, nothing creaks, the equipment is being looked after here.
I took a bike for the day. I went to Mamdzyshkha (30km uphill, the same amount back), there were no problems. It was not scary to go down 60 km / h on asphalt, the bike was driving and braking well. They pumped up the wheels on the road, gave me a repair kit just in case, and gave me advice.
Keep in mind that you need to leave some serious document and some money as collateral (in my case, a passport and 1000 rubles).

We rented a scooter from Denis, at first for a day, but then we realized that it was as convenient and fun as possible, so we did not hesitate to prolong the pleasure)
This is the best option for self-guided sightseeing. We traveled with the girl Gagra and Pitsunda up and down, were able to visit many interesting places, did not wait for tour buses, went wherever we wanted, and stopped where we wanted, regardless of the established route and time frame.
At first, I was a little confused by the appearance of the bikes (before that I rode in Vietnam, where I got a completely fresh device at the box office), but ours did not disappoint, in the end, not once! We drove from the heart🛵💨
A lot of emotions, discoveries and impressions!
We swept along the embankments and along the mountain serpentines with a breeze)

But the owner honestly warned about it right away.
The instruction is correct - just like before a flight into space.
The prices are yes. For example, it is twice as expensive as in Yalta. And I wish it was worth at least the same.
But in Abkhazia, everything is expensive, from stem to hotels. And the service is rotten.
There is a good attitude, service and honesty here.

Everyone who wants to ride a bike or a moped is ONLY HERE!!! (the only caveat is, contact us in advance during the season, mopeds may not be available, there are no problems with bicycles)

For rental options, we were pleased with the availability of bicycles with hydraulic brakes and 9 high-speed systems. We rented two bicycles for the day. The rental of both cost 1400 rubles. They asked to leave a document as collateral, but agreed to leave a cash deposit of 10,000. The selected bikes were well tuned and clean. There were no questions about their maintenance. The chain of the bicycles was washed in paraffin. Not many people can get so confused. Before the trip, they asked to pump up the wheels, brought the pressure to 2.8 BAR. This is the minimum recommended, so OK.

Vasily came to us to take bicycles! With my girlfriend, the rubber was pumped up to 2.5-2.5 atmospheres , we no longer do so that people feel more comfortable riding !!! He said ok! Let's go! Well, who forced him to take a bike, we didn't hit a nail!!! As a human being, they would have behaved with us here, they would not have taken money not for a puncture , nor for time ! Sometimes we drink coffee with our clients and go to the sea, become friends, and this type ...... 🤦♂️We are not working for the first season and very rarely, but there are people who do not like everything, who are not satisfied with everyone in life! This so-called client works with bicycles, if I'm not mistaken, in the Sportsmaster and apparently his clients sometimes make brains for him and he decided to take his own here.....) Well, we all work somewhere, these are the kind of people you always meet!!! The most interesting situation was in the summer, and after so much time he wrote a comment, apparently something was wrong in his life and he started puffing again! He had a nice girl next to him, if she reads this... run away from this man....) We came there, we wanted to take a scooter, there was one couple of people who handed over a scooter and very not quite told the owner that the scooter did not pull the soap for 30-40 km, ate it (they suffered, I watch it all and understand that it is dangerous to drive at such a speed on the road, I look at the scooter he looks very tired... I ask the owner if there are any other scooters? He, here's one I'm running around, I can't give it yet! And he offers to ride this tired one, which I did!They turned around safely and left tudo. The owner wishes to buy normal equipment, and this 50 cubic meter junk should be handed over at the price of bicycles or completely removed. The owner himself is positive and polite.

The hostess Svetlana is responsible for housing, her husband sells soft drinks, snacks and much more (very convenient, no need to run to the store), and their sons offer guests not only bike rental, mopeds. I took a bike, the wheel was downloaded in the area of 2 otmospheres, I told him more than once that the downloaded wheel is very easy to break through, he replied, I pump everyone like that, asked to pump, he did not find a pump.
One price is written on the Internet, in fact, it says another. We took 2 bicycles and went for a ride in 20 minutes the wheel was flat, as I told him, I had to take a taxi to disassemble the bike and come back, I thought that he was a man and would not take money for wasted time, but it turned out that he did not take an hour in rent, drove for 20 minutes, gave 700 rubles for all this incident. Briefly about the bikes, the brakes, which is the most important thing in any kind of transport, the pads are fucked up, the rotors are rusty, the switch is not set up, the chain is stretched and jumps at some speeds, the cassette is erased, the grips scroll, horror and not bicycles, and I chose the best bike from him. I heard out of the corner of my ear, people came for a scooter, he tells them that take this one, he's good, only his brake disc catches people were surprised, he catches in response, don't worry, everything is fine, he's been clinging to a terrible mechanic for 10 years.
I do not advise wasting time in vain, it is dangerous to ride on such troughs, and if you go to harvest more bobla.
I don't advise anyone to come here even!!!!
