It's a very nice and pleasant hotel. The staff is helpful. The food in the restaurant is delicious, but we only took breakfast. The rooms are good, but there were unpleasant moments (broken pieces of tiles, furniture, bathrobes and towels with stains) were on May 23, maybe now everything has changed. There is a paste and soap in the bathroom. The territory is large and well maintained. The view from the room is wonderful. I recommend it if you don't mind the little things.

The hotel is located on the coast of the Caspian Sea, the coast is cool with sand, only the oil rigs on the horizon are confusing. It is far enough to the city center, but the territory itself is large, cozy, there is an outdoor pool and a swimming pool inside
+ a wonderful spa area.
The room got a large one with a balcony and sea view, very cozy, but requiring renovation, plumbing and furniture are tired.
The breakfasts are decent.
The service is sooooo slow, we ordered coffee, waited an hour, no one is in a hurry, they can forget about your order at all

Overall, I liked the Ramada hotel. It is located on the first line, has its own beach, two swimming pools, sauna, sun beds, tables, umbrellas. A good restaurant, the buffet is very diverse. Cozy rooms, towels and toiletries are changed daily, air conditioning. Taxi to the city according to the application 5-6 manat. Polite, considerate staff. The impression was somewhat spoiled by flies in the restaurant and "tired" utility rooms, not quite a clean beach, however, these annoying little things are more than repaid by the sea, the gentle warm living sea, which is 100-150 meters away.

We read a lot of reviews and even almost canceled the reservation. But, we were well received! The room is huge. Clear. They clean it every day. In the room there are bathrobes, towels, individual brushes, shampoo gels every day. Tea, coffee, water for free. We have breakfast and lunch included in the price. We had breakfast early (it is possible from 7 to 10-30)Everything was delicious. Fruits: nectarine, plum, grapes, grapefruit, pears, apples. Among the disadvantages - coffee is not from the coffee machine, there are no scrambled eggs and a portion of an omelet. Lunch on the restaurant menu is super delicious. Included: soup, hot dishes, bread basket and salad. The portions are large. The serving and taste are restaurant-like! The pool is super! They clean it every day. The territory is huge! There are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas, even by the pool, even at the sea. The beach is clean. The staff is very polite and helpful. Everyone understands Russian. Everything worked in the room.

How can I write a positive review for this hotel? There is nothing positive about this Hotel at all. The rooms are not just tired, but they are living out their days, VERY dirty. There was no change of linen at any time during the stay. The room was cleaned after the scandal on the third day. And then it didn't happen again. The door did not open to the room, and the staff were extremely surprised that this outraged us. The towels are torn. The room was paid for three people, but glasses and cups are only for two. There is a refrigerator, but it is so dirty inside that it was scary to open it, let alone use it. The floors were not washed once during the week-long stay . Now about breakfast- I'm not very picky about food, but there's just nothing to eat here. !!! A huge amount of jam, jams, but the question is what is it with? The porridge stinks of burning, even the mayonnaise is tired, all the rolls are three days fresh, of course there is no coffee machine. And that stuff called coffee is served in paper cups and then , if you 're lucky , pour it . There is simply nothing to feed the child!!! We ordered pizza in the room, the trays stood in the room for two days, then they were taken out and placed next to the room, apparently as a reproach, although we paid 10% for the service. The staff just come to the pool and rinse their dirty feet and slippers, not paying any attention to the people bathing. It is very dirty around the pool. The restaurant for dinner is just a nightmare. Space prices . Service 0 . The whole order was brought for one person, and the rest turns out to be a look. In the restaurant , no one can explain anything at all . We have English, French, German in our arsenal, but here we were powerless, only Azerbaijani, the HORROR IS TERRIBLE

It seems that the Turks built the hotel - and the pools, and the spa, and the hammam - but it cannot be called a beach in any way - the beach is not equipped, thorns and garbage. The sea is very pleasant, 5-10 people swim in sight. The buffet breakfasts are not interesting. During the 10 days of their stay, they could not drink latte coffee in the restaurant - there was no milk ((( prices in restaurants are completely godless. The general impression is that you can visit Baku once, but you don't want to anymore...

Decent breakfast, room cleaning. The rooms themselves are spacious. Own beach, outdoor pool, sports pool. Massage, sauna, hammam. However, there is no entertainment nearby, we need to go to the city. The nearest shops are within walking distance, one stop by bus. There is a pier nearby, where you can fish with a float rod on a flatbread. The sea is shallow, you have to go quite far to go at least up to your waist.

I usually don't write bad reviews. But I have never seen such humiliation on the part of the administration. We had a rest on June 5-7 .
The hotel is good, but the senior manager is a man and Lali ruined the rest, I asked for a room with a sea view, and when my husband paid off, they charged him, as for a Villa that is on the road and there are a lot of Mosquitoes, you can't go out on the balcony.
We lived in a cheaper room, the difference was not returned, for more than an hour, we pretended to call, solve our question.
At first they said they couldn't give the money back because they were paying with a card , we gave them cash, then ignored us. The husband offered fruit to the room and the topic is closed, no, and they did not do that. I am ashamed of the staff at the reception and room cleaning - they smile until they receive the money, then no one. Apparently the owner of the hotel welcomes this.
It is better to live in the city, there are inexpensive hotels and go either by taxi or by bus ( 40 min) , for 25 manats all conditions , sun beds , showers , towels., changing rooms.
In the evening, you still need to leave for the city, since there is no food here and you will not be able to walk along the embankment.
I advise you not to start with a hotel outside the city, live in the city and come to rest during the day.
It's disgusting, not pleasant, extortionists, you can eat a business lunch in the city for 7 manats. Here they catch up from the restaurant, shouting that we still have to, since the problem is that the menu has not been changed electronically, and the cash register is punching in a new way. The location of the hotel is good - you can combine a beach holiday and a city one (10 minutes by taxi). However, the hotel staff does not monitor the cleanliness of the beach at all - no one is going to clean up the algae after the waves, as well as repair broken sunbeds and umbrellas. The territory of the hotel after night gatherings, guests begin to put in order only closer to lunch, so in the morning the picture by the pool and the bar is not the most pleasant. The rooms are not bad, the furniture, of course, has seen a lot, but still of good quality, a comfortable mattress and good pillows. Breakfast is also quite pleasant (except for coffee). The cleaning of the rooms depends on the maid - one is perfectly cleaned, the other does not even deign to throw out the garbage. Globally, this hotel lacks a good manager to build staff, and so the potential of the hotel is good)

The dirtiest and oldest hotel in my life, had to be changed

The worst hotel in the last 20 years. They fell for the name Ramada by Windham, but the company should be ashamed of such a state of the hotel. The rooms have peeling wallpaper, dirt in the bathroom, everything is very old, broken, the doors creak, the kettle is burnt out, there is no iron, the plumbing is falling off. It's very dirty everywhere! The ventilation is not working in the restaurant, the choice of dishes does not correspond to the three. Don't dream of any scrambled eggs and cappuccino. The cheapest bag of Nescafe and Azerchai from the common vat. Old croissants and jam with flies. The cleaning was done after 5 reminders from the reception by 20-00.
The pool is dirty, the water is not cleaned, at best they sweep around. The smell of dirt is everywhere.
We couldn't stay there, we had to move to another hotel, albeit with a loss of money.
Publish this review everywhere, google, Yandex, etc., as this hotel should not be positioned as 4-5 stars. The hotel has not passed the mandatory certification of the Azerbaijan Tourism Association. It doesn't even have 1 star!
I don't advise anyone! If you have the option to cancel your reservation, do it now!

The hotel does not meet the stated 5*:
It is necessary to redecorate the rooms, the balconies are not cleaned, they are covered with pigeons, the shelves for the seat are sagged in the sauna, the boards are wobbly, the hammam is not included. The beach is not equipped at all, there are no changing rooms, toilets and showers, mud everywhere, thorns, and you can bring sand to the beach.
The beach is not being cared for, garbage,
thrown out by the sea, it is practically not cleaned.
Breakfasts are monotonous, you can cook kutabs, eggplants, pancakes, and not serve thawed vegetables. The same oatmeal porridge, you can cook porridges from different cereals, alternating buckwheat, millet, rice, oatmeal, semolina.
What pleased me was the availability of a variety of fruits, as well as the work of the waiters.
There are no entertainment and sports events for guests, so it's boring in the evening, and there's nowhere to go nearby, the hotel is far from the center. There is no currency exchange office, it is very inconvenient for guests from other countries!
In general, the management should draw conclusions so that the hotel actually becomes 5 *, I wanted to come back here and recommend it to my friends.

I visited the beach of this hotel on August 25. The cost of services was cheated three times. The hotel staff is focused on getting as much money from you as possible in any way. Then they don't need you. Promises-towels, shampoos, water-remained promises.
The sea is dirty, the water near the shore is black. It turned out that the hotel does not have a full-fledged sewer system. The drains flow in a black stream from the hotel directly into the sea - along the edge of the beach. The stench is terrible.

But a solid 4*.
We ordered a transfer - 40 manats (although Uber took us back for 20 manats)
, Paid for Megafon roaming for 2200 rubles and did not know any problems. (at the airport they offered SIM cards for 40 manats - the same money)
Junior suite with sea view. We were at the end of May, we couldn't swim, it was still cool and windy.
The breakfasts are quite good.
There are Russian-speaking waiters.
It was nice - they brought coffee from the lobby bar when the main one ended
There are a lot of Indians, that's right, almost everything. There were few Russians.
Although the hotel's load was about 50%, no more.

The hotel is dead. Yes, everything is available, rooms , pool, sea , beach, BUT plumbing, mirrors for a 5-star hotel are shameful, towels are torn, sun beds and mattresses are dirty. The pool is nice, but it's dirty near the pool, near the sea there are stones, boards with nails, broken bottles.in the morning, the buffet is poor. Muesli supplements, fresh fruit, but it is problematic to feed the child, no porridge, no soup, no yoghurts. Coffee and tea were drunk from paper cups, cups were put out for the particularly fastidious. Flies. The hotel feeds from visiting vacationers from the side, because they live with orders to the beach near the pool. Music screams from morning till night. They do not pay attention to the needs of vacationers in the hotel. There are no places near the pool for them.The toilet on the beach is terrible. We had to wait for a taxi at the reception, almost died from the heat, the air conditioner did not work. The sea is beautiful, warm, for children, because the sand is not deep. In short, check into another hotel, for 5 manats by taxi to the Ramada, 20 manats entrance to the territory, here is the pool, here is the sea.

The staff is polite, but a little slow with some questions, if you contact the reception or by phone from the room, it's better to go down and order food. But everyone is very friendly!
The rooms are cleaned regularly.
Excellent breakfasts with a variety of local fruits and cheeses. In the evening there is live music in the restaurant.
Of the minuses, the sea, in which there are enough algae, but by the middle of the day they are carried away.
Just like in other hotels near the city, a lot of people come to the beach for the weekend, it becomes noisy.

Before the trip, I studied this country and everywhere bad reviews about hotels, restaurants and service in general. This hotel was no exception, so we were already going with the expectation of a negative. Upon arrival, we found fault internally, but then we just scored and rested. Even the women in the elevator asked, well, how are you resting - I said that there were such bad reviews, and in all hotels, that we were afraid to go, but it turned out not bad - they also confirmed this) In any case, there was more positive.
At one time, the hotel was built on a grand scale, but now the interior is a little tired and requires cosmetic repairs, besides, 5 stars is with a helipad, like, and the Hilton, for example, is also 5 stars, but they were not nearby. The hotel is frankly on a tight four. For example, I did not like in the hotel restaurant crumpled, blooming, stained napkins under the plates; chipped edges of cups; serving the same dishes in different versions in different dishes; dirty dishes on neighboring tables stand for a long time when everyone has eaten and left long ago, and we continue to sit among the untidy tables with flies; and on our first visit, in general, instead of glass glasses for lemonade, they brought high plastic ones, which was simply amazing. I liked the room with a large bed, panoramic windows, a balcony with a view of the sea, but I didn't like the standing water in the shower tray, pouring out on the floor and not drying out for a long time. Cats walk around the hotel on the street, have you seen at least one cat in expensive 5-star risorts? On weekends, locals come to the hotel and occupy all the sun beds by the pool for the whole day, turn on music in the column for the whole day; everyone smokes wherever they want. About cigarettes is generally a huge minus for the whole of Azerbaijan. Smoking is not prohibited and they smoke everywhere in public places, on sun beds by the pools, and you lie with the children and sniff it all (tobacco cigarettes are smoked more often, not even vapes); girls even go to paid beaches and offer to buy cigarettes. I also didn't like the fact that corporate parties are celebrated by the pool until late with very loud music with beats such that the glasses are shaking. I had to go and tell them what was going on, that it was bedtime and that the guests lived here, a hotel full of children.
There were also advantages. I liked that in hotels in the lobby they spray (perhaps add to the air conditioning system) a fragrance that is always felt at the entrance to the hall and I really liked the small built-in speakers in the ceiling on the floors near the rooms with relax music (music did its job - constantly leaving the room or standing at the elevator, hung in a relaxing state).
There is a buffet breakfast with a variety of food, there is quite a lot of it, there are also enough tables.
The staff in hotels and restaurants are men (women are only maids).
Cleaning came every day around lunchtime, consumables were reported (we never ran out of anything, there was a lot of toilet paper, gels/shampoos, toothbrushes/paste, new slippers, tea green/black.with bergamot, regular coffee and 3 in 1, sugar).
The staff is trying as hard as they can, it is clear that they are trying. We interpreted the bad reviews about the service of the whole of Azerbaijan as follows - spoiled tourists are used to European service and quality, but do not think that there will be the same in the mountainous eastern countries (there is no Europe, what do you want from them?!). Just come and relax, don't cling to the shortcomings - these are all small things. We liked the rest, a real relaxation. Few people, spacious territory, good hotel infrastructure (indoor and outdoor swimming pool, spa, 2 restaurants, shady court, Playground, yacht club, beach).
They wrote that the beach is not equipped, but this is understandable, a strong wind almost always blows in Baku and even sun beds with sofas flew in the evenings (of course they try to lay them firmly in the evening, but still). If you hang clothes on the balcony, of course it dries quickly, but it flies away and in the morning you will look for your underpants in the courtyard near the pool)) The face and body are constantly covered in sand because of the wind.
In the course of our vacation, we learned that this coastal side is considered dirty, because it is from this side that oil production is carried out and on this side the locals do not go swimming, but swim in pools or go to the opposite side to clean beaches in the village. Bilgya and Nardoran. We walked barefoot on our beach in the evening, then we couldn't wash our feet in any way, sand in fuel oil stuck to our feet, even we couldn't scrub with soap and nails. The beaches on all sides are shallow, the waters are waist-deep for a kilometer, for children it's the most. On our side there is coarse sand with shells and algae along the coastal zone, and the opposite side has good light sand (for example, the paid Amburan beach or the Sea Breeze territory). Hotels there are much more expensive.
P.S. In restaurants, a tip of 10% of the check is included in the check, but we still left more tips.
P.S. In public places (for example, a zoo, some swimming pools), the ticket price is lower for locals than for a foreigner. A kind of tourism.
P.S. Delicious food. La Quzu restaurant in the old town is just super, we went there by taxi more than once. On the wall there are photos with L. Ogutin and others, celebrities.
In general, I liked Baku more than not. At least once, but it's worth a trip here. We are happy that we settled in a coastal hotel, and not in Baku itself (you can't swim in the city and you won't get relaxation, you can just come to the city for a walk.

We were in June 2023.
The hotel looks tired. It can be seen that it was bright, but already requires cosmetic repairs. There is a spa, including a massage room, a hammam. There are Russian-speaking staff. The seashore is nearby, but the beach is poorly equipped, there were no sunbeds on the beach. It may not be the season yet and they will appear a little later. We stopped by for 4 days during Formula 1GP races. We arrived at night, we were given unprepared rooms until the morning. The bathrobe in the room was not fresh, it stank of someone else's sweat. Hygiene products have been started. The drain in the shower was clogged, the water did not go away, it accumulated like in the bathroom. The bed itself was not fresh. But everything was cleaned as if the room had already been serviced and refreshed.
The next day, the rooms were issued fresh, but the problem with the shower was the same.
The breakfasts are normal, enough not to starve.
The reception is polite, responsive. We consulted exhaustively on all issues.
At the hotel, an annoying taxi driver was rubbing himself, who asked for his services at 10! times more expensive!
Off topic advice:
If you are a foreigner, do not let taxi drivers and touts go ahead of you and negotiate about something, whether in establishments or shops. There is a suspicion that in this way they receive a percentage for allegedly bringing customers. Therefore, you can call him an institution nearby, let him go there, and you go where you need to.

The condition of the hotel is so-so.
The staff is terrible.
There are no bed linen, towels in the rooms, everything must be requested. Neither the toilet nor the refrigerator works in the room, nothing has been fixed in 2 weeks.
At breakfast, the food runs out all the time. Umbrellas and sun loungers are few, half of the umbrellas are broken, while the guests put them themselves (there are practically no staff on the beach).
The beach is dirty, the garbage has been lying for weeks. The dead fish lay on the beach for three days, until I personally brought a man by the hand and asked him to remove it (before that, everyone waved it off).
There is nothing they can do to help at the reception - neither to solve the issue with the staff, nor to call a taxi, nothing.
The staff speaks neither Russian nor English (while the guests are almost all Russian-speaking).
We leaned on the parapet on the first day - it collapsed. Nothing has changed in 2 weeks - it has not been repaired or even removed.
