The Red Tower is one of the main attractions of Alanya, a symbol of the city, depicted on its coat of arms. A powerful and formidable structure. It was built in the XIII century for the defense of the fortress and the shipyard. The octagonal tower, 33 meters high, is located in the port and consists of 5 floors. The museum of Alanya is located on the ground floor, a steep staircase leads to the upper floors, which offer beautiful views of the city and the port. There is a water collection tank in the middle of the tower. And of course, as with all buildings, the Turkish flag is flying over the tower.

The height of the Kyzyl Kule tower is 33 meters, which is approximately 11 floors of a typical high-rise building, there is no elevator. It is difficult to climb up, the steps are high and not very comfortable.
Other metric parameters of the tower: diameter of 29 meters, wall thickness — 12.5 meters. The real floors are only 5 — ground, ground, suspended, open floor (roof) and terrace.
The terrace offers a very beautiful view of the city and the seaport.
