Monument to the 50th anniversary of the abolition of serfdom in the Russian Empire. The inscription on the pedestal reads: "To the Tsar-liberator from the grateful peasants of the Yurievsky volost. February 19, 1861-50-1911". The cross that was on the pedestal now lies next to the monument. The empire, the tsar, and even the Yurievsky volost are no longer there, but the monument stands.
