A wonderful restaurant. Probably the best in Gagra. Chef Andre cooks at the highest level. The dishes are very tasty, the serving is beautiful and fast. Also, the chef himself is often in the hall and controls the serving of dishes. We had dinner at this restaurant 2 times. Dinner is organized in a buffet style. Each dish is balanced with the rest. Starting from salads and ending with desserts. Everything is very tasty and constantly replenished. In the evening, there is always live music, and at a pleasant volume, and not like in cheap cafes - at full power of all speakers. Thanks to the restaurant for such a pleasant experience.
Guests of the hotel of the same name, which is located there in a single complex, also eat in the restaurant. In the morning and evening during the season, there may be a lot of people in the restaurant because of this. It is necessary to take this into account if you want to sit there.

Abaat's restaurant is delicious and without rotovirus! The chef of the restaurant is Andre Martin (he cooked for Nicolas Sarkozy, Mireille Mathieu, Philip Kirkorov).
We ate only in this restaurant for 2 weeks of living in Staraya Gagra in September 2024, sometimes we went to other equally pretentious places. However, Abaat's restaurant is the best in Abkhazia!
I decided to try mushrooms here for the first time. There is an unsurpassed duck buffet, chicken pate, desserts, sturgeon and humpback kebab and much more. In 2 weeks, we tried almost all the menus together with my wife.
In the evening after 19:00-20:00 there is live music in the restaurant: female vocals. The audience is very pleasant, there are almost no flies, the air conditioner is working.
I celebrated my 36th birthday at the Abaat restaurant in Gagra and all the food was very tasty!
Payment is only in cash or by transfer.
Non-guests of the Abaat hotel can come for a buffet breakfast for 600 rubles per person and for 1200 for dinner.

The quality is high. Chateaubriand was amazing. A drunken pear (in wine) is gorgeous. The golden ear is divine. But a minus star for the poor work of the waiters. They were much slower than in the neighboring Teahouse. They are not quick-witted or efficient. And I absolutely did not like the tartar made of avocado, tomatoes and scallops. Okay, it was very little for a huge plate, so also the price is like Chateaubriand's. 1300 is almost and quite, well, quite tasteless. I was very disappointed and hungry. The only thing that calmed me down was a drunken pear and a Cloud shot)
