They couldn't take an order from us for 10 minutes, the waiters were called-no one came up, the chicken was rubber in caesar. Dirty plates were not removed from the table. The place itself is spectacular, but there is no service, the waiter must surround with care, but in fact the guests feel abandoned.

Great cafe! It seems to be located on the territory of the Abaat's hotel, but the entrance is free from the street. European cuisine, the chef is rumored to be either French or Italian, the passport was not checked, but he cooks perfectly. Nicoise, bouabaise, gazpacho - score 5! And the rest of the dishes are on top. Excellent staff- knowledgeable, friendly waiters, an intelligent bartender. Along with the tea house, which is located at the same hotel, it is by far the best institution in Old Gagra.

We ordered hot, salad and a set of pickles. First they brought a salad with roast beef, more like just lettuce leaves, some fried meat and cheese on top. They did not understand, they waited further.
They brought baked meat with vegetables. A huge bone, little meat, but overall it was delicious.
After that, pickles were brought, there is no bamboo. When ordering, they asked specifically if there was bamboo, we were told "yes, of course". When asked "where?" they replied that it was over. They have already started to get upset.

A magnificent hotel. It is located in the ancient fortress of Abaat. Everything is at the European level. There is a private beach with a sensor, a swimming pool. Restaurant and teahouse. The restaurant is delicious, but we were more inspired by the tea house. Prince Odinburgsky Castle, colonnade, Gagripsh restaurant are not far away. The rooms are cleaned efficiently, every day. One of the best hotels in Abkhazia.

There are no complaints about the hotel, unlike the Abaat restaurant. Expensive, not tasty!!! We came with a child to eat soup. At first, the menu was waited for 10 minutes, then after ordering chicken soup, it was waited for another 20 minutes. They brought cold soup made from rollton powder, the red price of such soup in the cheapest dining room is 30 rubles!!! The child did not even eat. Water with noodles and powdered broth. The pleasure is unsurpassed for 220 rubles. We are ready to pay for a quality product, but not for this swill. In general, it is better to avoid this restaurant!!! We do not recommend it.
In the same teahouse located on the territory of the hotel, they ordered borscht, but they waited for it for a long time, and they also brought cold soup without Sour Cream, but it was delicious!!!!

The guys in Abkhazia really don't understand why they should write the composition and description of dishes on the menu. We ordered a poke with salmon, and it's just terrible for 750 rubles, all the individual ingredients are good, but the sweet front does not go there, and two very sweet sauces for rice and chuka salad, it turned out to be some kind of sickly sweet dessert, not a Hawaiian dish. The feijoa compote was also very sweet. The menu is huge, the prices are unfairly high, higher than in a good cafe in Moscow. They carry the dishes quite quickly for 20-30 minutes, despite the fact that a little more than half of the tables are occupied. I advise you to ask the waiters about the dishes so that there are no unpleasant surprises. Three stars for the high prices and the lack of description in the menu.

We ordered two different pastas and a chicken fillet for the child… These are not pastas, but just noodles filled with cream ((( I did not think that it was possible to cook it so not tasty. French fries are just fried potatoes in a frying pan. (Fortunately, at least it tasted normal). The chicken fillet with a fried crust looked appetizing, but in fact it is not possible to eat, it is bitter, dry and not tasty. The waiting time for the order was 50 minutes, the child fell asleep. The whole order was brought separately, first to us, then to a sleeping child (7 years old). The check was for 2,700. No matter what, IT's REALLY NOT TASTY!!!

A good restaurant in Staraya Gagra is probably the best. The prices are the same as everywhere else, but the decor is decent and the menu is varied. Rolls, they don't know how to cook pasta, pasta is pasta with cream, I won't say anything about rolls at all:)

First, a summary: if you have any problems with nutrition, intolerance, allergies, I advise you not to hesitate to pick at food, because even if you were promised to bring something without something, then according to our statistics, in 95% of cases they will add something to you anyway.
Heartwarming details:
We came to Abkhazia during the rotavirus period and it affected us, and up to that moment I liked the restaurant.
And during the recovery period, we needed special food (see as simple as possible).
The restaurant is reluctant to meet them and is very negligent about requests. Oil was added to our food several times, although we asked not to do this, explaining the importance.
When asked to just boil potatoes, we were refused, saying that the chefs would not cook off the menu, and only mashed potatoes could be made. I don't understand what the problem is to make "mashed potatoes", but without milk and butter and not to grind? Well, that's okay, there is no such thing in the menu, let's say OK. Although customer loyalty is completely absent, we were ready to pay for mashed potatoes.
I also tortured the waitress to see if there was anything greasy in the chicken soup, she said that there definitely wasn't, as a result, it turned out to be fried.
The waiters need to repeat it several times and ask if they understood everything exactly, but this is not a guarantee that the chefs will understand.
From the good: very tasty salad with nut dressing and homemade lemonades. Two points for them.

We were there that year and this year. We immediately noticed that the prices in the restaurant were raised by 20-30%. Then they began to hear bad reviews from friends. We were very surprised, because everything was very tasty that year. Then we found out that the boss had changed. And that's it, it became terrible. We took fo, tom yam, ribs, everything mediocre. Dude, the chef added rolls, well, OK, but if you don't know how to do oriental cuisine, why try. The meat should move away from the ribs by itself, then it must be torn off. Only borscht is delicious, nothing ceviche. In general, each trip is like an experiment. And everything would be OK, but with such prices, well, that's it. The manager Nastya is only cool, we remember her as a waitress, we were not mistaken when we promoted her.
By the way, everything is still very tasty in the teahouse! The hotel is also good, although the prices have also been raised 2 times;(it is very sad that there is no children's animation on the beach. The animators are huddled and huddled in their room. It would be cool if 1 is there and 1 is entertaining the kids on the beach.
