Everything is fine, the menu is gorgeous, the dishes are very tasty, the service is excellent. But I didn't like the barbecue. We tried it and no one wanted to eat, because there was some kind of metallic taste, everyone felt it and refused to eat.The waiter replied that he would solve the issue, but when calculating the cost of the barbecue was included and there was an unpleasant feeling that they tried to feed stale meat and did not even apologize...It has been a long time since then, and no one has responded about the low-quality barbecue for which we paid, although the meat was inedible and no one ate it, they tried and spat it out. Instead of an apology, the cost of an unsuitable dish is included in the order price. And a thousand people watched this review and apparently refused to order a barbecue. The most interesting thing is that they cheated once with a dish, and thousands of people refused to try this product and the loss is probably off the scale.They got drunk one day instead of apologizing, but it was just the waiter who solved his problems that way, and the owners are incurring losses... Of course, we will stop by again, but we will try very seriously and never again will any of our friends order a barbecue. And thousands of those who read the review will not order this meat dish. And the hosts still haven't apologized for the ruined dinner. Although the waiter just didn't want to solve the problem. I strongly do not recommend trying shish kebab. Most likely, storage in dishes not intended for meat. And stale.

It's a good restaurant. We always visit it when we are in Gagra. I like that this cafe is open all year round.
We were a big company, we ordered a lot of dishes. I will describe only some of them.
I would like to warn future visitors - cheese soup is an unusual dish. Not in the classical sense. It is made on the basis of suluguni cheese, which does not completely dissolve. This dish is definitely for an amateur.
Salads and pastas have very large portions. I liked Caesar and pasta with shrimp. Other first courses of kharcho and noodle soup are also delicious.
The meat in the pot (I don't remember the name of the dish) is very fatty. It contains cilantro. I asked them to clean it up, but they forgot about it. Therefore, everything was redone without any problems.
I don't really like khinkali, but there were experts on this dish at the table, they liked them.
I also liked the mulled wine - it was good and spicy. If you ask, they add between them according to your desire. I definitely advise you to visit.
The speed of dish delivery is fast enough

From the minus for me, this is - I went to the bathroom, then when I came to wash my hands, the cleaner was washing a rag for the floor in the sink of a public toilet, well, it was very unpleasant to see this. Purely because of this, I will give 4 stars.

The restaurant is one of the best in Gagra! Big, bright, lots of seats, the waiters are great fellows, they told everything about the menu, fast delivery, and most importantly it is very tasty!) The portions are huge, there are enough salad portions for two, live music in the evening. We had a great gastronomic pleasure visiting this restaurant)))

I really liked the restaurant, the signature Ritz - bomb salad! Khachapur boat is delicious, the beer is fresh, the cocktails are excellent. We were in the Ritz on October 5, left this institution on the last day of vacation and did not regret it. A restaurant-level cafe with a gorgeous view of the sea! For a long time we could not find a delicious shish kebab in Gagra, we tried it in every restaurant or cafe where we came for dinner and only in the Ritz the shish kebab was incomparable (we took a meat set, there you will have a shish kebab from the neck, and chicken, and 2 types of lula) A girl with a beautiful name Lana took the order, she is beautiful, sincere and charming. The service in Abkhazia is really not the 5th check-in, but the waitress Lana breaks down stereotypes, is very attentive, trying to help in choosing a dish. Separately, at the end of the evening, we came up to thank the braziers - Edik and Harutyun, kind, loving men who cook the best barbecue in Gagra! THANK YOU for the perfect end to our vacation. It's a great place with a great view, and the service is good.
Of what we ordered during three visits,
we ordered everything according to the menu of their national cuisine (Meat in Abkhaz, Achapa, Solyanka in Abkhaz, Hashlama and lavash of their production, all for 5 + and Khinkali for 4+).
The husband took alcohol, cognac and beer, said nothing about it.
I would recommend visiting this place to try their national cuisine.

A great place in Gagra, where you can really enjoy the dishes of the national cuisine of Abkhazia. It's so delicious that it's impossible to stop. Beautiful serving, large portions, fast service, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, everything is clean and overlooking the sea! The only drawback is that there is no cashless payment terminal, only cash or transfer, which is not very convenient, but this did not spoil our impression of the institution itself and the delight of the cuisine. She wasn't openly rude, but it felt very unpleasant, as if we had come to her house. They didn't take the change, 250 rubles in total, but later they noticed that the receipt already includes 10% for the service, for a total of 680 rubles, which is already decent. In fact, the service does not cost even a hundred rubles.
And one more thing, why take out hot soups and second courses at the same time? So that everything cools down together? In my opinion, it's not done that way, or at least clarified.
Finally, I repeat - there are no questions for the chefs, I would even like them to have all these 680 rubles in their pocket.😄

During our 4 visits to Abkhazia, we have seen more than once that there are good-natured and open people here, but ... to greet guests, clients with such stony faces, as if - you already have to - it's power! Except that friends were greeted with a smile. We have repeatedly left tips in different establishments and more than 10% of the standard interest, but the service here has become such that it should be a shame to take money for it
2. Food. We ate 4,000, that is, we took quite a few. But guessing and making a delicious salad is also a separate art! Irish coffee was made so that there was nothing to drink except alcohol (they took it there more than once and everything is OK), beef in a frying pan with cherry (with ordinary tomatoes) for 700 rubles..the rain is full, it is better not to try trout for 1000 rubles, but to go to the trout farm and eat it there. The potatoes and cheese were simply not finished so that everything inside did not separate from the crust. Cheese soup, well, at least somehow, but by God, take master classes or other recipes.
As a result, it is a pity. They were almost the coolest in old Gagra, but became an ordinary eatery on the stream

We were at this cafe tonight. We walked from the Prince of Oldenburg Castle, looking for a place to relax from walking. The place was attracted by a beautiful outdoor terrace and music. The friendly staff has a pleasant time, the music is uplifting. We were not hungry and limited ourselves to ordering fine wine with a cheese plate, coffee and ice cream. What could be better in good weather on a warm coast!?) I liked everything: cheese with honey and nuts, ice cream - the freshest, with a beautiful serving. A pleasant conversation with the waiter complemented our impression. I recommend it))

When I came to Abkhazia, I knew that I would go to this institution. I've read a lot of good things about him and not so much.
The establishment really deserves a solid 4.
The quality of the products is undoubtedly excellent.
Is the place cozy? Yes!

But if everything was perfect, there would be a five.
Now about the cons.
Either this is the mentality of Abkhazia, or the cook does not know how to cook meat, or the stars turned out that way....
But this is not a medium rare roast Rib Eye. I don't think it's a Rib Eye at all, because the meat was completely fat-free. No, it was delicious. But that wasn't what I wanted. The waiter was told this, but no action was taken.
That's why I'm shooting a big and fat Star.

Lake Ritsa is a must-visit. We drove ourselves by car. Entry to the territory of the reserve for an adult is 700 rubles, for a child 200 rubles. There are several tourist routes (you can see the diagrams at the entrance to the Ricin nature reserve). The road itself is very picturesque, suitable along mountain rivers and through a canyon. It is best to go early in the morning before the arrival of the bulk of tourists. Khachapur is the most delicious in Abkhazia that I have tried)) The pizza is unusual, with very good meat, it is definitely worth trying.
