Отель хороший. Великолепный пляж. Вечером всегда интересное представление - песни, танцы, шоу фокусников. Есть два бассейна. Очень приветливый персонал.
В номере есть кондиционер!(именно кондиционер, а не просто дующее из стены нечто). Сам номер конечно не самый новый, но и вы не в 5* отеле😉 холодильник (работающий безупречно) есть, небольшой балкон тоже, сейф( в нашем номере, правда, не работал, но можно это легко решить обращением к администратору). Убирали номер каждый день.
Территория достаточно просторная, много зелени. Каждое утро убирают от упавших листьев, сухой травы и т.д. в общем, чистота и уют)))есть аниматоры и развлекалочки вроде шахмат, дартс, настольного тенниса.
Еда не сильно разнообразная, но голодными не останетесь. В а-ля карт можно поесть лобстера. Вкусно)

We were in Cuba for the first time. According to the stories of friends, they did not expect anything cosmic from the hotel. The hotel was pleasantly surprised. The location was very convenient for us, at the very beginning of Varadero. From here you can walk to the pelicans in 10 minutes to Cafe Al Capone. The tourist bus stop is 5 minutes away. The staff is friendly, well done. As I understand it, the food is the same everywhere, so you need to look when you check in, if something is not in your hotel, it means there is not everywhere. Eggs were always for breakfast and in different forms. There was no butter and desserts. Everything else is fine. And of course the ocean! It's magical, the beach is super! And, about tourists, 80% are Canadians, the rest are a mixture of Russians, Cubans, and Europeans... In general, I recommend it!!!

Cocktails are made just stupidly on the water, if you do not tip, then there is 0 service in the trailer. The place didn't go very well.
It's good that we managed to leave the hotel for a couple of days, otherwise the whole impression of Cuba would have been spoiled
The sea and the beach are good in the hotel, but it's cool everywhere in varadero.

A wonderful 4* hotel in Cuba. Friendly staff. They communicate in English and Spanish. There are 2 people at the reception who speak a little Russian. The rooms are cozy, the maid left a note with a greeting. You will not stay hungry, although the choice is not very large. The territory is small, but cozy and well maintained, there are 2 swimming pools. The main contingent of vacationers is Canadians 60+. Internet is available throughout the territory, the limit is 24 hours, then extended at the reception. There are a lot of cats on the territory, but they do not cause inconvenience, but create a homely atmosphere. Beautiful clean beach. Thank you for a great stay❣️

We rested in Cuba for 12 nights.
We arrived with a company of 4 people (2 married couples) at the Roc Barlovento Hotel on April 15. Our tour cost 232 thousand rubles for two people.
Upon arrival, we were fed pasta, because we did not have time for dinner. The accommodation was in neighboring rooms and the rooms were not the worst at first glance.
From the first day we did not have hot water, we went to the reception, to which we were told "tomorrow" - that is, tomorrow. We have even come to terms with the lack of hot water, although sometimes we reminded the staff that we would like hot water to appear. We lived like this for 4 days, after which sleepless noisy nights began. Our windows overlooked the neighboring villa/house, where Cubans were relaxing listening to loud music and singing karaoke songs very loudly. We couldn't sleep, and it all lasted until 4 a.m. After 2 such nights, we turned to the reception again, to which it was again said "tomorrow".
After 6 days spent in these rooms, we were still deigned to change rooms. Move to another building. The rooms were better and newer, the furniture was fresher, the ocean view. We were incredibly happy, but unfortunately our room was attacked by a huge army of ants on the same day, we turned to the reception again, again their answer was "tomorrow", I had to sleep the night in the room knowing that ants live with us in 10 kv. For friends, the situation turned out to be different, big cockroaches came to visit them.
The next day, I asked that we be better returned to the room without hot water and with noisy neighbors, we were returned to the same room from which we had moved out.
Next, on food... They can't roast meat properly. I always returned the meat to be fried. There is no sweet, there is ice cream and their jam, in which some animals periodically die, they pull it out and leave it further for consumption. There is no abundance of fruits, pineapple, guava, papaya, watermelon, but not yet ripe, because the season has not come. There were always scrambled eggs of various kinds for breakfast, and just boiled eggs and poached eggs. Rolls and bread are given only for breakfast at lunch and dinner without bread. They cook a lot of rice and pasta. The alcohol was white rum, powdered pinocalade, white wine appeared 3 times in 12 days and then only for dinner. Coffee was running out periodically, they only have soda, and then the cola will run out, then the sprite. Their cocktail is pina colada, kubalibra, blue lagoon. There always seemed to be beer.
For breakfast one day, scrambled eggs were cooked with a COCKROACH. The staff offered to replace the dish.
The staff is not moving until they receive the money. They can stand on the bar in the fourth and not notice you. Another thing that surprised me was the collection of used disposable cups on site and their washing and reuse. The dishes in the dining room are always dirty and the plates and utensils.
Cuba is beautiful, the Atlantic ocean is fabulous. But the hotel upset us.
I was not expecting service, at the level of Egypt or Turkey...

I didn't find any disadvantages. I came to see Cuba (on the positive side!). What I planned to see during this period - I looked! They scared me with terrible numbers and all that. There was no such thing in this hotel! Everything was great! All the equipment worked properly, she didn't mess up in the room herself, but it was clear that the maid girls had been in my room. Food: you won't stay hungry! The beach is amazing (the same in (on) the Dominican Republic-Boca Chica). Yes, and about "that they don't do anything without tips" - nonsense! It's just that people should be treated like PEOPLE! Ah, tips, it's like a cute bonus to them!

Мы еще в нем. Отель норм. Персонал без чаевых вообще не обслуживает. Вообще.
Правят тут канадцы. Русские говно. Нашему голову проломили канадцы, так его еще и выселить хотели. Безопасности нет вообще.
Гид от пегаса говноедка.настя. Именно с маленькой буквы. Вообще пегас моя любимая компания😂😂😂 Сказала, разбирайтесь сами. Я здесь не при чем. Еще и денег взяли за пробитую голову. Короче, я в шоке.
Бухла есть, но, как сказала, без чаевых почти ничего нет. Самое противное, они собирают с помойки пластиковые стаканы и просто ополаскивают и наливают в них заново🤣
Еда... Не знаю. Кому как. Для меня везде одинаково. )) Нет борща)))

Сама гостиница, может, и не лучшая. Во-1, сравнить не с чем, в других кубинских гостиницах не были, во-2, в России много гораздо более цивильных мест. Но сама Куба, особенно Варадеро, океан, бассейны, люди - всё это оставило огромное положительное впечатление на всю жизнь! )

Просто надо работать,выполнять свою работу качественно...
Работать не хотят,отсюда грязь,поломки в номерах,которые не торопятся исправить,проще предложить другой номер..
А люди там живут доброжелательные,но ленивые,они сами про себя так говорят
