Paradisus varadero resort & spa 5. A chic hotel, the atmosphere is super, the beach is huge, there are enough sun loungers for everyone, the service is what it is, but it is present! Unlike the Iberostar bella Vista, there is toilet paper in all toilets, they do not mix what they have not eaten into salads for lunch, and towels are changed every day. The pools are being cleaned, the beach is being cleaned somehow. The territory is large, old, but very well maintained. The staff is friendly, I was surprised that they always go to a meeting and solve everything promptly. No jellyfish were seen. Mojitos and pinacolada are not always available, but this is Cuba, but there is champagne and beer. There are few Russians, but our tour agencies do not offer this hotel. It takes about 40 minutes from the airport. There is a shop on site with pads, shampoos, rum and cigars. By Cuban standards, this hotel is gorgeous. There is milk, napkins, sugar and salt are not put on the table, they are served on request, seafood is prepared every other day, there are always eggs, milk with cereals, and yogurt for breakfast. Delicious cheeses. The pasta saves the child, we take the cheese separately from the tray and ask the woman at the stove to cook macaroni and cheese without tomatoes. The fruits are delicious: papaya, guava, pineapple, watermelon. Vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, cabbage. There is gel and shampoo in the room (Melia is written on the jars), iron and ironing board. For an additional fee of $ 33 per day for three people, we changed the room from a regular one to a room on the ocean (overlooking the ocean), these are buildings 26, 27, 29, 31. On the beach they entertain with aerobics, sailboats, there is a spa and gym with exercise equipment, a kids' club, but we were not there we didn't get out of the water) We've been to Cuba 3 times, I really like this hotel. Those who write that there are no eggs and they feed pumpkin-there is always an egg, and it is not a pumpkin, but a papaya. And that lady who was outraged that the ticket was 900 thousand for 10 days, are you even aware that 600 of them were your tickets??? A room in this hotel costs approximately 7,500 ₽ per person! Of course, there are disadvantages, do not forget that this is Cuba. For example, there are no doors in the toilet, but we found a way out-we covered the doorway with towels.

Perhaps I'll start by saying that if you plan to go to this hotel, keep in mind that this is more for show than for a pleasant stay. The service here is at the level of 4 out of 10. The very first thing that struck me was the lack of a toilet brush and the lack of such basic things as toothpaste and a brush. A mini-bar is a completely different story: it is either actively filled or completely forgotten. The replacement of bed linen and towels is only at your request, which, it would seem, should not be expected from such an institution. As for the infrastructure, the spa and gym are open at the request of the staff, and the administration does not seem to be in a hurry to do something about it. The plumbing in the rooms is in terrible condition: the water is hard, so the feeling of skin tightening is not a myth. The excursions leave much to be desired — 6 out of 10. The cities look like ghettos, everyone is trying to deceive you, and there was even an incident with an attempt to break the chain of a girl. It's good that I was there, otherwise the situation could have ended worse. The food here is a complete disappointment, 5 out of 10. The choice is very scarce and repetitive, especially in a country where seafood should be plentiful. I found two types of fish and almost inedible dishes. You can forget about potatoes and corn, and besides pineapples and bananas, you can't dream of fresh fruits and vegetables. The beach, fortunately, pleases with the view of the sea, for this they pull 7 out of 10, but the beach itself leaves much to be desired — it is poorly cleaned, the deck chairs are in very poor condition. The hotel staff is a separate issue. 7 out of 10, but only for the fact that they are still able to explain themselves in different languages. However, few of them can really help, they constantly shift responsibility. The first three days I lived without hot water and with the smell of mold — a terrible impression. Zero-level entertainment. Everything is only in Spanish, although don't count on English at all. Catamarans and a sail are great, of course, but they are practically not used because of the constant wind. On the positive side, I found jet skis that are located a minute's walk from the hotel, although no one talks about them in the hotel itself. There was also an interesting trip to the cave with stalactites. So, to sum up: don't set foot in Cuba.

Great beach, good pools, rooms are not bad but shabby, but the area is very good. The food is monotonous, there is a problem with food, as in the whole of Cuba. Meat is pork, duck, sometimes chicken legs. It's all about meat!They cook medium-sized, as if there are no vegetables - cucumbers, carrots, beets. The coffee is great, the cappuccino is so-so. Alcohol almost the entire line of Havana club rum, whiskey, tequila, wine are all on the level. Room cleaning, apparently according to the mood, is good, then not at all, there is no system.

PARADISUS Hotel: beach 5 points, ocean 5 points, food 3 points, service 3 points. The buildings and rooms themselves are of good quality, there are no complaints. The Royal and Privat zones are great. But they are located far from the best part of the beach. And it adjoins the neighboring hotel. The food is weak, the staff is often inattentive. Sunsets and sunrises of stunning beauty. There is nothing to do there for more than 14 nights - it gets boring.

Good day everyone! We had a rest for the May holidays with the whole family in a wonderful place, in a wonderful country called Cuba (Varadero Paradise 5 stars). The hotel is gorgeous, we took a room with a view of the beach, Florida Bay, in a word, a fairy tale on the Atlantic coast. The buffet meals are hearty, there is enough of everything, lots of fruits, fish, meat, etc. We visited two tours of Cuba. The first one was in Havana, I recommend definitely going. The second trip was to Trinidad and Sanfuegos, with an overnight stay in Trinidad. I recommend everyone to see how Cubans live past the hotel. The beach is gorgeous, the water is turquoise, and I didn't want to leave.

THE MOST DISGUSTING HOTEL IN 10 YEARS OF TRAVEL! This is our second time in Cuba, and we always have 2 adults and 2 children on vacation. I'll call this vacation torture. A 5-star hotel doesn 't pull at all . Guys, he's a dead man. No one is watching him. The territory is huge, but it 's abandoned . Dirty! And there was no hot water anywhere during the whole vacation . They were resettled from this murdered room for 3 days. The staff work really hard. Managers don't take responsibility at all and avoid meetings! Questions are piling on top of each other ! Power supply 2! Purity 2! There was no seafood, no eggs, no fruits or vegetables. Carrot , pumpkin , lettuce and cucumber . That's it! The set of fruits is also meager. See the photo. We were in Cuba, we were in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Zanzibar was even better. Thailand, Dubai, Sri Lanka, etc. We have something to compare it with. Yes, there is no good food in Cuba, but! That's why we took 5 stars!!! But it's 2 stars!!!! At the age of 21, we were on Kaya Coca . This is heaven and earth! However, if you do not have the opportunity to provide the picture that you put on the website, then the price tag should not have been so exorbitant. Moscow -Varadero. 9 days 700 thousand on what faithful ones!!!! This is the last trip to Cuba. Put the money in the trash! Compensation of $200 for the claim!!! Are you kidding us????

The hotel is a nightmare, a disappointment. I don't understand who assigned this 5* hotel? Turkish 3* will make this hotel in all respects. The room is uncomfortable, everything is unkempt. The food is tasteless, the service is 0! There was a regular lack of hot water and light! This trip was just a test of strength, I was looking forward to returning home more than ever. Only the ocean was pleasing!!! Cuba turned out to be a completely different country from ours, and this hotel will remain in our memory as the worst we've been to.

Of course, I expected that it would be much worse than any five of the Dominican Republic or Antalya, but not so much!!! Kitchen, service, room stock, everything is bad! I don't even want to describe how sad everything is! Imagine that there are no tubes in the bar, and in the restaurant (Savdepovskaya canteen) napkins and toothpicks, homemade cocktail tops and towels are almost not changed! Slippers are not welcome in the rooms, pastes, brushes and ear sticks are worth their weight in gold and only if you really ask, liquid soap in bottles and shampoo and conditioner and shower gel. It is very similar to a wellness boarding house for pensioners in the Moscow region. WiFi works very poorly, you can send mail a couple of times a day. Who misses the sanatoriums from the 90s, come here!

We stayed at this hotel for the second time. The first one in 2019 in February. The impressions were fantastic. Food, coffee, rum, cocktails, service... Just fire!! This year, 2023, everything has become much worse, except for the beach and the ocean... It's just paradise! There are many places on the beach. No need to run at 7 a.m. and take up seats. The bar on the beach and by the pool from 10 am, everything is delicious. Although sometimes there is no mint for mojitos, cola for cuba libre, but there is something else. Mosquitoes are certainly the scourge of summer. When we were in February, it was nice, comfortable in temperature and there were no mosquitoes. And there were pelicans on the beach. In a la carte restaurants, you could order lobsters. This time they were not on the hotel grounds, for no money. It was very strange that they did not make a pinocollade. And a very big disadvantage is that the restaurant is open without air conditioning... It's very hot to eat. How the dishes were preserved there... Big question! But I lost 2 kg, for the first time on vacation. Although they drank every day. Overall, Cuba is a great place to relax. Wonderful people. There is no need to build big illusions and it will be fine.

The hotel is terrible , except for the beautiful beach there is nothing positive anymore. The food is disgusting, the crows on the Swede start eating your food while you went for dessert , in a la carte restaurants they just bring you food from the Swede. Things are stolen - we sat on the lobby bar , went to the toilet, stole things and a beach towel, for which we then had to pay $ 50, for the 10 days we spent there it was far from the first case of theft , we were asked to look at the surveillance camera - everyone froze off. The rooms are old, the mini-bar is not replenished in principle until you give them money, even the water was not updated without remuneration. Alcohol is cheap , there is no evening program . The vacation cost 720,000rubles ( voucher + excursions), for this money you can fly to the Maldives in a good five for 7 nights.

The hotel itself is of course up to 5 star hotels in Turkey just resting. The pools are not very clean, the food is monotonous (the local birds are very fond of it), it is more pleasant to eat indoors. Room cleaning is not always on 5. There are no brushes anywhere. The staff is all friendly, and loves tips very much. But the beach and the ocean make you forget about all this!

I put 3 stars ONLY because of the ocean, there is no merit of the hotel in this, but still excellent. Next, only the negative ((( To begin with, this is the lack of a proper level when cooking and serving food. It seems to be a paradisus, but damn!!!!!! I'm not a stale person at all, but in the grill bar there are bones with leftover meat ((( In the main restaurant, it seems like they make sure that all the tables are occupied with food, but no one thinks about the quality. For 24.05 - 04.06 23 years, I would send the chef to free bread. Plus, the traditional Cuban pina colada cocktail is not made, for a banal reason, THERE is NO COCONUT LIQUEUR!!!! IN CUBA!!! Well, the bright desire of the entire staff of the hotel, with rare exceptions, to fuck a dollar off me, completely finished me off. Of course, I understand the sanctions and all that, but there is no match for price and quality. Until the management of the hotel changes, there is nothing to catch there.

We stayed at the hotel from July 1 to July 14, 2023. We were in Cuba for the first time. We read reviews about Cuba, Paradisus and other hotels and were, in part, ready for what they write about service, food, rooms, etc. We chose the hotel because of the beach and were not mistaken. The undoubted advantage of the hotel is the beach, in the palm trees it is very colorful. The ocean is very warm and clean, the sand is white, the entrance is excellent. For the sake of such an ocean and a beach, it was worth flying for 13 hours, and they smooth out the shortcomings of service, food and other things in Cuba. Rooms. We had a Junior suite. Spacious, in principle, not bad, as we were told by the standards of Cuba. The cleaning was also normal (apparently lucky with the cleaner). The floor was washed, towels were changed. Only with a change of bed linen, as they say, in a week and then on demand. Plumbing is tired or even broken somewhere, especially in public places. We were given a bungalow on the first line, the second floor, left the room and immediately got to the beach. Food. You won't stay hungry. From the sea of products there were shrimps, mussels, octopuses, squid, fish. They were fried on the stove in front of you or were laid out on dishes. Meat — chicken (often it was whole baked chickens that were butchered in front of you, delicious), pork, beef. Sometimes it is overcooked, there are not enough spices somewhere, but in general it is fine, the assortment and presentation are not the same as in the good fives in Turkey. We were ready. Fruits — mango (very tasty, apparently July is the season for him), papaya, guava, passion fruit, pineapples, apples, watermelons (not tasty), grapes and something else unknown. Ice cream in the main restaurant — at lunch and dinner. The restaurant and lobby are open terraces, without air conditioning, it is very hot in July. Ala maps — you can go for a change, basically the same thing. Yes, there are no small spoons, sometimes the waiters brought ice cream, there is no salt on the tables, there is a problem with napkins. One of the "bright" impressions is the absence of tomatoes, peppers, herbs, etc., they do not grow in Cuba, apparently, you will not find it in this hotel for sure. What I didn't like were the crows (less than 3-4 times ours) that fly in the restaurant, sit down for food, sometimes on the head of vacationers. The first week there was no wine in the entire hotel, neither in the lobby nor in the restaurant, The second week it appeared, apparently the steamer was delivered / came :—), as they write that most of everything is imported. There is nothing in the shops, there is a total shortage. We went to Havana, it was very hot and asked the guide where we could buy ice cream, in response we received a smile and a comment that we would not be able to buy. Of the drinks — rum, of course, Havana club 7, Santiago 10 and 12 years old, Selectum (Selected), Chivas, Jameson, Absolut, etc., there is no sparkling wine. We liked the local coffee. Animation. Local artists with songs and dances. There were concerts with rock bands. Usually from 21.30. In principle, you can watch and listen. In general, we liked it and we are satisfied with the rest, we have not seen such beaches, clean sea / ocean anywhere (In Turkey, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Spain, etc.). Therefore, I put 4. Given that the choice of where to fly is not great now, we will most likely return to Cuba again. People in Cuba are kind and helpful. Today, Cuba accepts both euros and dollars, while in most cases it is 1:1, so it is more profitable to take dollars. The Pegasus guides only said that they accept Euros. Be sure to take mosquito repellent (body sprays), there are a lot of mosquitoes in the morning and evening. WI-FI in the hotel is weak, you constantly need to go in, in the morning and during the day that is, then it is not there. After 5 days, he disappeared altogether, you need to go to the reception, they open / resume access with their hands.

The hotel is located in a swamp, because of this there are a lot of mosquitoes in the room + also flying ants.And more than one spray does not take them.You can't sit in a bar in the evening, there's a horde of them.But this is not all the disadvantages, bed linen and towels are not changed at the hotel, so you need to run to ask to replenish the bar.The room is practically not cleaned.Of the advantages, this is the ocean beach, the food is average, as in all all-inclusive hotels, they did not eat everything from lunch to dinner.You can't drink local water, but it's what they pour into coffee machines, which makes it a mess.In the hotel, excursions are only for euros, and are twice as expensive as those of private guides.If you don't want to ruin your vacation, take other hotels.This is the most budget-friendly on Varadero.

The most terrible hotel and service in my life!! All requests are completely ignored, 3 times in 2 days I approached the administrator with adequate requests to bring at least one blanket to the room instead of a sheet, under which it is cold at night, and in principle I do not sleep under the sheet, I am not comfortable as much as possible, I was freezing all night and practically did not sleep, bring to the room at least I would have liked another pair of towels, because they gave only 2 towels for two, there was no towel even for feet, there was no hair dryer, there was no toilet paper and in general there is nothing in the room except Gel and shampoo. There are cockroaches running around on the buffet!! Everything is shabby, old, and the room smells bad. No one met at the entrance to the hotel, I had to look for the reception and the administrator, who was not on site. I had to argue and bargain with the cleaner for towels, who refused to give more than 3x. I remind you that 3 towels per 1 person are provided in a 5-star hotel. In general, this is the maximum horror, not a hotel, it's the first time I've encountered such terrible service, I've been to a lot of places and I have something to compare it with. And there are also a huge bunch of disadvantages. such as, napkins on the tables, terrible alcohol and disgusting cocktail preparation, there is practically nothing, there is raw meat that looks as unappetizing as possible, you stand in the heat near the grill and wait 15 minutes for it to be cooked for you, just with salt and pepper, but there is nothing else to eat, you have to sweat and waiting, it was constantly getting bad near this barbecue. The pools are terribly dirty, with mold on the walls. The staff is not friendly and there are many more things. Spend 20 hours on the way here and get completely disappointed 😞

Good day! This review would not be here if it weren't for what happened the day before departure (more on that at the very end). Because of what happened, I decided to say everything that had been accumulating all the rest and that we turned a blind eye to every time. Initially, we were positive and treated all the joints with humor, but when we were humiliated and made idiots, instead of at least apologizing for the harm to our health, our patience broke. It took a long time to choose a hotel for a honeymoon, Paradisus liked it - I saw a photo of the beach and fell in love. I read the reviews and thought it was all nonsense, because there is such a soooo beach! We are not picky about food, we thought that there was little that could upset us and decided to come here. We gave 310,000 for two people for 10 nights. At the reception you will be greeted by a beautiful view of the ocean and the smell of rotten water from the ponds in the lobby. The water in them is green, how the fish still live there, I have no idea. Further check-in, no earlier than 16:00, even for an additional fee.the fee. We got a room without a bed light, without a sofa on the lower podium, but for that with two tables for some reason. The water from the shower flows out and flows under the door into the corridor (we read about it in the reviews earlier, and we knew that we needed to tuck in a towel. Having paid a lot of money, we still have to come up with some engineering solutions, instead of the would-be builders who made these showers with a curved level) towels, surprisingly, like in a 1 * 2 large hotel, 1 for hands, which by the way there is nowhere to hang and 1 for legs, but we plugged a gap with them. The pastel smelled musty, and had many stains of various origins, as did the towels. As for the sun beds by the pool: take them either in the morning or never. Firstly, there are catastrophically few of them, and secondly, there are even fewer of them under the umbrella / in the shade. To the beach: sand in cigarette butts, garbage, thorns, entrance in rocks. 20 meters from the shore there are large accumulations of algae and rocks, there are a lot of animals in them, the child was stung by a stingray in front of us. By the way, there is a separate topic about insurance, they shake money for everything, cheat and lie. The family with the child who suffered from the stingray, in addition to activating insurance, paid for a taxi to the hospital and for an antibiotic, which costs 2 euros, they forced us to buy for 40 euros!!!! If you want to live, be able to spin – the motto of the locals, but with this attitude fewer and fewer tourists will come to this, and so not the most tourist-developed country. We took 2 excursions. One of them was given a bus, which staggered so that things and people fell out of their seats. Half an hour later, they demanded to stop and call a serviceable transport. The entire tour schedule got lost and part of the tour was shortened because of this. And the money is still the same. Prices are fabulously high, for two people for 2 primitive excursions they gave a little less than 600 €, yes, guides charge only euros for excursions, or $ 1.15 times the price per tour)))) Internet: you need to activate it at the reception every 10 hours. But you will be able to sit in it only in the early morning, then you will either not be able to connect, or you will see a message, something like "there are a lot of requests, the server is overloaded." It crashes all the time, it takes longer to log in and connect than to do business on the Internet. A 5* VIP hotel, where they give out 1/4 of a cropped napkin on the table. Yes, you can ask and they will give you more, but it seems that such things as napkins should be on the table in unlimited quantities. Come for breakfast/lunch/dinner at the beginning, no, not because you don't have enough food, you don't have enough plates and glasses) people took disposable pallets at the snack bar and came with them if they were late for lunch. By the way, a huge queue forms at lunch and they let you in as soon as they have time to set the table, while you observe about 60% of free tables. The waiters stupidly do not have time to set the tables, for that they manage to have a nice chat with those who tip and with their colleagues. How everything works in terms of service: If you don't pay, you won't get it. According to the announcement, you go to a VIP hotel, where the service should be excellent, and pay accordingly, but when you arrive here, be ready to "tip" if you want to get something. In my vision, they leave a tip if you liked the way you were served and you want to thank the employee. And that's not how it works here, the waiters won't come up to you if you don't give money, the man who drags deck chairs and tables, shakes them off the sand, won't do it for you anymore if you don't give him money the first couple of times. But here they seem to be really, really bad with money and food: Before leaving, we threw the bun and butter from the dinner set on the plane into the trash. It's been in the fridge for 11 days. We moved out of the room, there was already a maid near the building, cleaning the neighboring rooms. A minute later we remembered that we had forgotten something in the room, I went back (no more than 2 minutes have passed since leaving the room) I return, the maid is already in our room, I go into the room and see how she is eating the same bun with the same butter from the trash… In general, the feeling of rest is that I was harshly heated for money that went to no one and no one knows where, since employees receive pennies at the same time and are forced to survive. Selling bottles of water, for which, damn it, we have already paid, but we did not get it, after pouring the guest water from the tap. They dine on what we threw in the trash. Plus, on the first day we dropped a ring in the ocean, the hope of finding it left us after 20 minutes of futile searches. We decided to tell the reception, in case someone finds it and brings it to them. The girl at the reception made a sympathetic look and said that if suddenly, she would definitely give it to us. Who do we need? How will he pass it on? She did not ask either our names or the room number, they are probably such cool employees that they remember everyone else when they check in))) The cherry on the cake, drink water ONLY FROM the ROOM, in the dining room at every meal you will be kindly offered water first, alas and ah, it is from the tap. The waiters cover the neck with their hand so that you do not see that it has been opened for a long time and that it is filled to the neck - that is, not at all like a closed bottle from the factory. At first they did not understand why the water stinks of chlorine, like bottled, and then they saw how the waiters took the empty bottles somewhere and brought the full ones back. Complete humiliation!!! We understood and accepted everything, we knew where we were going, we understood that the country was poor, but we did not expect such bullying. Everyone we managed to get to know during the vacation said that they suffered nights in terrible colic and with everyone wiping... and we were no exception, we did not understand what was the matter for a long time, as a result, by the middle of the vacation, GERD worsened. In the end, we couldn't stand it and decided to find out why they were poisoning us with tap water and pretending that everything was okay. At the reception, they looked at us like idiots and said that bottled water cannot be from the tap, and in general it is dangerous to drink tap water. Disgusting service, they didn't even apologize to us, but exposed us as stupid idiots in raised tones. Let me explain that as soon as we realized that the water stinks for a reason, we stopped drinking it. Of the advantages, great excursions, the rooms are really not tired, but very much nothing, we met our expectations for food, we were not really hungry, but of course we missed our kitchen. In general, the trouble came from where they did not expect, they were preparing for the worst, but the irreparable happened. We will definitely never return to this hotel again, we have heard many good reviews about Cayo Coco, maybe we will try our luck there someday, but I doubt it. Good luck to everyone who has already bought a ticket. And think 1000 times about those who are just choosing a hotel.

Just arrived from this hotel. The food is weak, but they say it's the same everywhere. Maybe we're just spoiled by Turkey. Almost all the plates are chipped and you need to run around the restaurant looking for them. Birds and flies are jumping around the products and tables, which no one is chasing. You put down a plate, you go for fruit - sparrows and black birds fly in and crowd together or take turns tasting from your plate. It doesn't bother the waiters at all. Moreover, the same thing happens at the distribution, and the staff turns a blind eye to all this. There are no teaspoons in the restaurant, they give plastic ones when you ask. In general, as I understand it, it is served more or less only at the opening of the restaurant, then at random. The tables are dirty. Seafood - mackerel and some other white fish. Pina colada - no - this is nonsense at all. Travel agents amicably praise the Reserve, early entry and exit, additional services, which in fact do not exist, the reserve is located far from the sea. I had to change it to a standard. There are no slippers, no bathrobes, not even face towels in the rooms, just two large towels and that's it. Although the maids had them on the shelves in reserve. Everything needs to be begged, although they constantly left tips, although they regularly make the bed and spin swans and some snowmen. The maids clean up well, and the rest is most likely the policy of the hotel. Beach towels are changed in the pool house until five in the evening, which is far from the beach and inconvenient in time. During the day, water aerobics in the ocean, dancing lessons on the beach. The saxophone in the evenings against the background of the sunset is just great. Unobtrusive animation is present, although the scene is under renovation and everything happens in the Lobby bar, including children's animation. The impression of the hotel is twofold. Excellent location, spacious beach with palm trees, incomparable ocean. At the same time, the dirt in the restaurant and the lack of basic things are very annoying.

We had a rest for the new year according to the Royal Service system. If it's called a royal service, I'm scared to imagine what's going on in a regular zone. First, the service itself. We were given a concierge, Pedro, who did nothing but book restaurants for dinner and complain about how much work he had. Requests to put water in the room (since the room service ignored this), change towels (they were changed once during the 10 days of stay and then only after I brought them to smell at the reception, they were all moldy), bed linen (they were not changed once, and the pillows were already dirty) and he ignored requests for other services. If we managed to catch Pedro on the hotel grounds, he tried to turn off the path and pretended that he did not recognize us. Further, as I wrote, the room service did nothing but make the bed, and this despite the regular tips that were left. Even the trash cans were cleaned every other time. We constantly called and asked to do the cleaning, change towels, bed linen, but the requests were ignored and nothing happened. The food that someone took out of the room and left on the stairs was not cleaned for 3 days!!! The food is just terrible, especially in ala-kart restaurants. These are leftovers from lunch, converted into something inedible. This is not a hotel, but a weight loss challenge. There is no choice for lunch if you eat meat. We generally got the feeling that the chefs at the hotel hate food, because you can only cook it so badly if you have a personal dislike for it. Waiters serve normally somewhere, ignore somewhere. Tips, again, do not solve anything. What's with them, what's without them – the service is equally bad. The room is old, moldy, a lot of ants and healthy cockroaches!, torn curtains and rusty chairs on the balcony, which ruined a couple of dresses for me, and my husband's trousers (do not wash the rust). Theft! Her husband's mobile phone was stolen on the beach of the hotel. A neighbor on the sunbed saw it. When we ran to the reception, they sent us the head of the security service, who hardly spoke English and did nothing but bring a guard to the beach and said: if you see a thief when he returns, shout, this guard will arrest him. Seriously? They did not even interview the witness, but when asked to call the police, they said that the theft was in public areas of the hotel (pool, bar, beach) They don't expect to call the police. If you want, go to the police station in the center of Varadero yourself and write a complaint. At the same time, they let slip that the theft situation is not the first time. Judging by the refusal to help and the unwillingness to question the witness and call the police, the hotel staff is aware of who is stealing and most likely are not interested in stopping it themselves. We asked to call the Royal Service manager Gloria, who also does not speak English! And who also said that it was none of their business and they were not going to help. We were truly shocked. The hotel management did not apologize to us for the next two days, on the contrary, they tried to avoid us and either pretended that they did not understand English, or actually spoke only Spanish, which is also ridiculous, since the vacationers at the hotel are mostly English-speaking. The pros are the service at the beach bar on the beach, in the cigar bar, a great girl at the reception Indira, who tried to help as much as possible. Good alcohol and cocktails. Unfortunately, this did not correct the situation. The conclusion is obvious. If you want normal service, food, safety and sane management, choose another hotel.
